Pride Rock Villa & Tree House

This place was simply fantastic. The treehouse is located a little away from the rest of the property of this lovely host family, so it really felt like I was completely on my own, surrounded by nature. The treehouse itself has so much charm, and it is an amazing place to just sit and watch the wildlife around you. On one side, you have a wide open view across bushes and scattered trees, which makes it perfect for spotting animals. During my three days here, I saw monkeys up close, small monitor lizards, countless palm squirrels, frogs, peacocks and many more. My absolute highlight happened one evening after dark, when a small Indian civet, locally called an "Urulewa", appeared right in front of the treehouse. The host family later told me that seeing one here is extremely rare, and they were honestly just as excited about it as I was. The host family was incredibly warm, welcoming and genuinely interested in making my stay as enjoyable as possible. They also offered to arrange rides and bookings whenever needed. I really felt welcomed into their home, and every morning I was already looking forward to the homemade local breakfast. All in all, this was a truly special experience and one I definitely would not want to have missed. I would happily come back here anytime.

Sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Auch ein Lunch Paket wurde für uns, auf unseren Wunsch hin, bereitgestellt, als wir bei Sonnenaufgang auf den lions Rock sind. Morgens mit den Geräuschen der Natur aufzuwachen war einmalig.

Leider nur eine Steckdose im Schlafzimmer und die Steckdose im Badezimmer hat am zweiten Tag nicht mehr funktioniert. Der von der Unterkunft angebotene TukTuk Transfer zum lions Rock war leider teurer als bei den lokalen Fahrern.

La chambre en hauteur a une très belle vue et on y sent régulièrement de l’air frais, étant donné qu’elle est en hauteur. La propriétaire est très gentille et à l’écoute au moindre problème. Elle saura vous mettre à l’aise. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Niveau rapport qualité-prix, il y a rarement mieux en matière d’hébergement.

Nous avons adoré notre passage ici. Wassana nous a accueillis avec une gentillesse incroyable, toujours souriante et attentionnée. On se sent tout de suite bien. Un très joli souvenir aussi avec sa petite-fille Senumi, qui a joué aux cartes avec nous : un moment tout simple, drôle et chaleureux que nous n’oublierons pas. ❤️ Et surtout, ne passez pas à côté de la cuisine de Wassana ! Elle nous a préparé un merveilleux dîner, délicieux et généreux. Je recommande vraiment de dîner sur place au moins une fois. Le lieu lui-même est un véritable havre de paix, entouré d’une végétation magnifique. On se réveille avec les oiseaux, on aperçoit des tamias, des paons… C’est calme, verdoyant et incroyablement agréable. Tout est à proximité et beaucoup de choses peuvent se faire à pied, sinon il est très facile de se déplacer en tuk-tuk. Si vous cherchez un endroit sans chichi, chaleureux, paisible et humain pour séjourner à Sigiriya, c’est une très belle adresse. Nous repartons avec d’excellents souvenirs. The property is located in the lush green area of Sigiriya. Inside the property you can find many coconut trees and on the treehouse side there are farms so it is very soothing to the eyes. The atmosphere is very peaceful. The hosts are excellent and take very good care of their guests. They serve authentic home cooked Sri Lankan food which is delicious. They are very helpful when it comes to arranging for safaris or vehicles for travel in and around Sigiriya and to other cities. One minor issue was non availability of basic things such as shampoo and soaps for bathing.

I was welcomed by a lovely host who prepared delicious meals and with whom I had a few pleasant chats. Although I already had my entire trip organised, she was always happy to help with anything I needed. I stayed in the Tree House room, which was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and very quiet, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. It was also my first experience staying somewhere with a semi-open bathroom, and it was a unique experience that added to the charm of the stay.

What a beautiful hotel! The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming we felt at home from the very first moment. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. The location is also very convenient, close to everything. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, though we recommend taking a tuk-tuk in the evening as it is about a 1km walk in the dark. È stato sicuramente una delle migliori strutture in cui sia stato in Sri Lanka: la posizione è ottima, centrale ma non troppo vicina alla caotica via del villaggio di Syrigia (la struttura è anche provvista di bici, nel caso qualcuno volesse esplorare la zona pedalando); le camere e la casa sull’albero sono uniche, in un ambiente naturale e idilliaco. Ma la cosa più bella è stata sicuramente Shehansa e la sua bellissima famiglia, sempre dolci e disponibili. Senza dimenticare la buonissima colazione. Il mio angolo di paradiso preferito in Sri Lanka

The place appeared newly developed, so it looks beautiful in the day. It’s very basic, simple and run by a very kind family. If you’re after luxury, this is not it. If you’re looking for something legit, clean and good vibes in a small budget. This is a good place. P.s. you must be ok with small pests like lizards and small frogs, since this is in the middle pf a jungle area and it impossible to keep these creatures out and give a green experience at the same time.

The pests. We had to call the host twice to help get rid of the rodents, and she responded, showed up and smiled through it all even at 4 AM in the morning. Also, you’ll need to pay in cash, so account for that.

La géolocalisation sur booking n’est pas correcte. C’est à 37 min du Lion Rock. Je l’avais pris exprès pour être près du centre. Elle aurait pu mettre à disposition les vélos. J’étais dans une villa et problème d insonorisation.

Ik kreeg een luxe AC kamer, maar wilde liever in het treehouse. Dat werd meteen geregeld. De ventilator was afdoende in de nacht. Heerlijk verblijf bij een vriendelijke host.

Отличное расположение, прекрасная ухоженная, зелёная территория, со своим садом, новый номер, большая кровать, новый матрас. Хозяева доброжелательные, помогут организовать трансфер, подскажут где лучший массаж, как можно добраться до горы, есть велосипед в аренду. В течение дня можно приобрести чай, кофе, свежевыжатый сок, заказать еду.

Das Grundstück liegt idyllisch zwischen Reisfeldern etwas abseits des Zentrums. Es ist wirklich Natur pur! Bis auf die Tiergeräusche hört man nachts kaum etwas. Die Betreiberfamilie ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Außerdem verleihen sie Fahrräder, die wirklich gut in Schuss sind.

Lieu agréable, calme avec le bruit des oiseaux ! Endroit sympa si on y fait que dormir. Petit-déjeuner local très bon !

Pas d’eau chaude, voire eau glacée. Coupure de courant toutes les nuits malgré nos plaintes. donc très chaud et appareils électronique pas rechargés le matin. Pleins de grenouilles dans la salle de bain.. Nous aimons la nature mais on a faillie en écraser plusieurs en pleine nuit (vu que l’on avait pas de lumière 🫣) on avait de la peine qu’elle ne soit pas dans leurs espaces naturels.

The ever smiling host was incredibly sweet. It has just two villas and a treehouse and a huge garden surround by forests and paddy fields and q peacock residing there.

Tutto. Posto meraviglioso immerso nel verde. La proprietaria dolcissima e gentilissima ci ha aiutato in tutto. Ci ha noleggiato le bici per andare a visitare Pidurangala subito appena arrivate e ci hanno preparato una buonissima cena. Hanno un tuk tuk privato che la mattina dopo ci ha accompagnato alle 5:00 a Lion's Rock a vedere l'alba ed è tornato a prenderci. Abbiamo potuto farci una doccia dopo la faticata e fare colazione in un secondo momento. Ci hanno organizzato il trasferimento a Anuradhapura. La camera e il bagno bellissimi e pulitissimi, acqua calda in doccia e A/C funzionante in camera (cose non scontato in sri lanka). Il prezzo sopra la media ma onestamente li valeva tutti, per l'accoglienza, il servizio e la comodità

Hosted by a lovely woman and her family who looked after us throughout. We got yummy breakfast and dinner - 100% recommend and they sorted us a TukTuk to/from wherever we needed. We stayed in the treehouse which was really cool. Whack the fan on as it can get very hot, but it was really cool being in amongst the nature. Absolutely beautiful location and a little out of town so didn’t have the noise. We loved our stay, would visit again if we were in the area!

The owners are super nice, they gave me travel tips and advice, always made sure I was comfortable, they have lunch and dinner options and the food is absolutely delicious and very fairly priced, I had dinner there every night! The rooms are clean and comfortable, with AC and mosquito nets, shower is good, they provide towels, and the property has a beautiful and peaceful garden with birds and squirrels. They also have bikes for rental and good contacts for safaris and drivers. I had a lovely stay and I highly recommend staying with them!

Het was leuk om in een boomhut te slapen in Sigiriya en we fietsten vanaf de accommodatie zo naar de Lion en Pidurangula rock en naar leuke restaurantjes.

Beautiful clean, cool room with my own terrace looking out over the lush well-tended garden. The guesthouse is a very short walk away from the main village, so very peaceful. It is set amongst paddy fields and you can see fireflies at night. The family are so warm and friendly . Meals were delicious, and they arranged a fairly priced tuk tuk ride for my onward journey. Will definitely be back.

Amazing peaceful location where you can see monkeys and peacocks from your room! Lovely owners and bikes for hire at a reasonable price which meant getting around was easy. Just a short walk to the centre/attractions. The jeep safari they organised was also incredible!

we couldn’t connect wifi in the room. the mosquito was included in breakfast. The room was upgraded without any notice and we had to pay extra fee. the staff didn’t have change. they also said that we could start having breakfast from 8:00, but actually it was 8:30, so we had to wait till the time

We verbleven vier nachten in de boomhut en dit was echt de beste keuze van onze reis! Het wakker worden in de natuur, het prachtige uitzicht, de privacy, het heerlijke ontbijt elke ochtend en ook een keer ‘s avonds heerlijke rice and curry gegeten, het was allemaal echt perfect. De familie is zo lief, ze hebben echt een speciaal plekje in ons hart! Echt de moeite waard als je in Sigiriya bent en een bijzondere slaapplek zoekt!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful natural surroundings and attentive staff who make you feel like one of the family. They have the best tips on unique and interesting places to visit in the area. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The room was super clean and very spacious. I felt taken care of during my whole stay and felt truly spoilt with all the care given. Thank you for all of your kindness. If you come here you will likely extend your time.

The people are so lovely and the rooms are really comfortable. The AC was broken when we were there but she gave us two fans and it wasn’t a problem. The location is a bit far out without a mode of transportation but definitely still walkable. Would stay again !

Incredible farm type property. Fruit n flower trees everywhere. The host is amazing. They helped me with tuks tuks and guides for safari n sigiriya. Wifi is decent but the place is so beautiful and green and serene and quiet. Peacocks outside my room in the morning. Rooms are super clean and good beds with mosquito nets. Highly recommend.

The nicest and most amiable host. She cooked amazing breakfasts and dinners, so I was able to sample truly local dishes. The room was very nice and clean, and it was wonderful to sit outside in the garden. It's a wonderful walk into the village, but you can also borrow bikes from the family. I used it as a base for trips to Anurdhapura, Polonnuruwa, and Dambulla. Sigiriya is idyllic and quieter than Dambulla. I really enjoyed my stay at this accommodation and would come back anytime!

スタッフが優しくて、ツアーを提案してくれました。朝早くからトゥクトゥクを運転してくれたり、遠い場所まで乗せてくれました。ツアー会社よりも安い料金です。子どもがかわいいです。朝食の量が丁度よくて、おいしかったです。自然豊かで、蛍や星が綺麗でした。シャワーは温かくて、途中で止まることがありませんでした。扇風機で十分涼しかったです。自転車を借りることができました（有料）。

ホテルは悪くないのですが、たまたま私が泊まった日は、街全体がコンサートの騒音が昼から朝まで響いていました。チェックインのときに知りたかったです。普段静かな場所だと知らなかったので、うるさい場所に予約してしまったと思い、イライラしてました。 あと、WhatsAppで追加されたとき、スパムだと思ってしまい、すみませんでした。

I had a wonderful stay at Pride Rock in Sigiriya. The hospitality was outstanding – the hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The accommodation itself is beautifully set in nature, making it peaceful and relaxing, yet still comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal felt freshly and thoughtfully prepared. All my needs were met during my stay, and I truly felt cared for. I would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya, and I’d definitely go back again if I could

Fijne plek met een superlieve eigenaresse die graag en heerlijk voor je kookt zodat je de deur niet uit hoeft. Je kunt warm douchen. 'S avonds hoor je de jungle geluiden vanuit de boomhut. Heerlijk.

La struttura si trova un po’ distante dal centro. Raggiungibile a piedi con l’ultima fermata del Bus in 10 minuti, durante il giorno con una breve passeggiata ci si può muovere anche a piedi. In alternativa vi è a disposizione anche il servizio bici (io l’ho utilizzata per fare un giro panoramico a Sigiriya). La notte sei costretto a prendere un tuktuk perché il rischio di trovarsi davanti ad un elefante è piuttosto elevato. La host è disponibile, parla poco l’inglese, ma si fa comprendere. Ha tre bambini fantastici e molto simpatici. Il marito è disponibile per eventuali servizi tuk tuk, anche alla mattina all’alba. Ottima colazione e ottima cena. La seconda notte l’ho passata sulla casa sull’albero, esperienza da fare, consapevole che ci saranno animaletti a farti visita la notte (lucertole in particolare). Zanzariera e ventilatore in entrambe le soluzioni.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen. Nicht zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt aber an einem schönen ruhigen und gut erreichbarem Ort. Das Zimmer ist wie beschrieben: Mit Mückennetz über dem Bett und einem Ventilator. Doch am meisten mochten wir die herzliche Gastfamilie. Noch nie wurden wir so freundlich empfangen. Am Schluss verbrachten wir die Abenden immer mit der ganzen Familie. Am Abreisetag wurden wir vom Gastgeber mit seinem Tuktuk zur Bushaltestelle gefahren und er hat dann sogar dafür gesorgt, dass wir in den richtigen Bus einsteigen. Das Frühstück wird immer frisch zubereitet und ist lecker.

It was a wonderful stay at Pride Rock Villa. The owners were so kind and helpful. Amazing location and peaceful surroundings. Incredible value for money and I was only gutted I couldn’t stay another night, as they had another booking. Highly recommend.

Ein herzliches Guesthouse von einer reizenden Familie geführt. Das Zimmer und Bad sind sehr geräumig. Allerdings war ich alleine, zu viert könnte es eng werden. Eine nette Terasse mit gemütlicher Liege und Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück und Essen war sehr lecker und die Gastgeberin hat sich um alles sehr bemüht. Das Guesthouse liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten in ruhiger Lage. Zum Lion Rock ist es nicht weit, man kann auch Fahrräder benutzen. Auch Restautants sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

Die Zimmer sind sehr ringhörig. Wer Zimmernachbarn vermeiden will, sollte sich das Baumhaus buchen.

Una vera esperienza di una casa sull'albero. I proprietari sono stati molto cordiali e disponibili. Si trova leggermente fuori dalla via principale ma comunque in posizione strategica per visitare "lion rock" e fare i safari. Colazione ottima. Consigliato

Great place to stay! Perfectly located in the heart of Sigiriya and surrounded by nature. I stayed here from the 2nd to the 4th of July in a room with two double beds, a private bathroom, and a spacious garden outside. The property is immersed in greenery, so you’ll often spot wildlife such as lizards, squirrels, peacocks, birds and the owner’s friendly dog. It’s a truly peaceful setting. The owners are a lovely family with three young children, along with their grandparents who help around the property with the lovely dog. They were honestly the highlight of my stay such kind, welcoming people who made me feel at home. Their smiles and positive energy were unforgettable. I also had the pleasure of eating most of my meals here. The food is homemade, delicious, and full of flavour cooked by Chandikasamapath, i think this is how it is written! Such lovely person! She taught me some Sinhala words too! I’ve travelled across Sri Lanka, and this place with it is the best with it warm-hearted hosts who have been the highlight of this place! To the owners: please keep being who you are, kind, smiley, offering good vibes and helping into guiding people around the city and the country! You are the difference! Oyāṭa sthūthiyi!

Nothing i did not like everything was perfect!

Amazing due to several reasons: - super close to sigiriya city - at the same time very quiet in a large property without any neighbors - most importantly: it felt like sleeping directly in the nature with beautiful views into the park. You can hear birds sing in the morning, we spotted peacocks and several other local animals.

Situated in a calm area nearly in the jungle ; you feel the wildness nearby. Very very clean. Confortable beds, large rooms. Great garden with peacocks and all sort of wild things, squirls etc... very friendly lady owner... décorated with taste from my point of view Quality price very ok

It is already written, but no air conditionning, only fan; 2 nights of 4 no electricity about 3-4 hours at night, not so easy; the best is with door open but dépends on what bugs could come inside; need tuk tuk at night cause even the 1 km from the restaurants there are éléphants wandering; The man owner not very friendly if you are not going his way; his prices for trips are quite high. He is not friendly at all Breakfast the more and more poor as days passed No equipement in the room (fridge, Coffee, hairdryer etc. )

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The owners are so kind and helpful. The children are adorable, and even the dog is super cute! The rooms are very comfortable and truly clean. The location is very close to the city center. Having breakfast in the garden was absolutely paradise. Thank you for everything!

The property was stunning, set off a small road into a beautiful, peaceful jungle setting, with various trees and wildlife around. There were monkeys, langurs, peacocks and all sorts of birds. Not to mention the super cute resident dog! My room was spacious, modern and clean and the owners Chandika and Vasana were so friendly, generous and helpful, giving me suggestions and helping arrange day a tuk tuk bor day trips. The children are very sweet too, it’s a lovely family! And Chandika even drove me to the bus stop for free when I left. The food Vasana cooked was tasty and nutritious, plus much cheaper than the local restaurants. The free breakfast, with fruits grown in the garden was also an amazing bonus! I borrowed a bike (at a discounted rate!) for a couple of days and explored the local lakes and countryside. It’s an incredible area of natural beauty. At one point the WiFi connection was low so Vasana allowed me to move the router into my room and the signal was then perfect. They really do everything they can to help make your stay perfect. I absolutely recommend this place and even 3 nights wasn’t enough! Thank you so much for everything 🙏

We had a lovely time at this Tree House in Sigiriya. The family is always happy to help you and serves quick and delicious breakfast. One of the most warming people in Sri Lanka on our trip.

Staying at Pride Rock Villa Sigiriya was an incredible experience! The atmosphere was truly special, being right on the edge of the jungle. Waking up to the sight and sounds of peacocks and adorable squirrels made my mornings magical. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully designed, offering both comfort and charm. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, making sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and nature-filled stay in Sigiriya! I'm sure I'll come back to this place again.

We stayed in the treehouse and it was one of the best experiences of our lives. Such a unique stay, we really couldn’t fault it. The room was nice and cool with a fan and mosquito net, there were plenty plugs and windows around the room for us to look out and feel we were in the middle of the jungle! We loved hearing all the animals in the morning and the peacock that appeared each morning right outside. The hosts couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a comfortable stay - thanks so much for a wonderful, memorable stay. Also, fabulous breakfast!

The place is surrounded by beautiful nature, very nice gardens and partially in the jungle, you can hear the sounds of all the birds, and wildlife. The room is very big and for 10usd is it more than enough. Shower is hot enough, big bathroom. They prepared dinner for me, breakfast and lunch. Very good prices and the food was good.

Its hard to communicate by chat with the owner. She is very nice person but hardly can talk english, i wanted to book a tuk tuk but had to do it on my own as she was not answering me by whatsapp. In place we could communicate good. There was a double bed but the sheet was for a single bed, and the shelf of the room's bathroom was dirty as if they didnt realize to clean it. Overall, for the price is a really good place and I recommend it. This small things could improve the quality without having to do much.

Just 10 min. walking from the tourist street, 20 min by bicycle (which they rent) from Pidurangala Rock, 20 min. walk from the bus stop. If you are looking for some really relaxing time in nature with an exceptional family, come and stay here. I had the time and decided to stay a night extra, just to enjoy their wonderful atmosphere. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable.

The place is fabolous! We liked nice view from balcony and hut. You are surounded by the nature! So bear in mind that you will have squirels running at ypur roof :D we liked it! Also we had small mouse in the hut but she was friendly and did't eat anything. Bed is comfortable and with clan sheets. The bathroom is open and with hot water. We also liked the hospitality of the owner. Everything was just perfect!

Nothing for us but if you mind mouse and ants book the room not treehouse.

Family was so nice and location was amazing i had peacocks running with chipmonks amongst the papaya and woodapple trees...and i got a woodapple welcome drink, my motorbike was under a small roof and the whoke garden is beautiful and maintained. Lovely. 10 minutes walk from the 'center' where most of retaurants, bars, elephants and view of the famous Sigiryia rock are They prepare dinner and breakfast was included and delicious. A room would easily fit 3 persons one queen and one twin bed, clean shower with warm water, a terrace. It was raining next morning but it made the pathways ever more gorgeous. Thank you

This was a wonderful stay with an even more wonderful family. They make some amazing food! The treehouse is on their garden (but quite private at the back sheltered by trees) and looks amazing. There are peacocks and monkeys running around the garden (or close to it) which felt like a Safari on its own (they stay a good distance away so it feels safe too). They have a cute puppy on premises who likes to play. The location is super close to the centre via Tuk tuk & the treehouse is very comfortable to stay in.

There can be insects in the bathroom but this is to be expected for an open area!

This property will make you feel that you are living inside a village with full peach of mind. Lot of trees are there and this is a big property (the total area of the property) managed by the owner Mr. Chandika Sampath and his wife. I remember; I reached somewhere around 10:00 pm at night and Chandika even guided my auto driver (who picked me from Habarana rail station) how to reach his place. The room was clean and lot of space inside including the attached bathroom. Thanks to the owner and his wife as they were awake at 3:30 am at night the day when I left this property to catch the train back to Colombo to ensure the guest should feel comfortable at any time. He even guided my same auto driver which road to follow so that we can avoid the elephants at night. Thank you Chandika for your superb hospitality. Last but not the least.. the breakfast was really nice. They have a pet dog named "Tiny" who is very friendly. Wifi speed is good.

There is a stand fan available in the room which works well. But you need to manually set the regulator all the time to keep it running. Else, at certain point it will stop. There is no air conditioner in the room which I was aware of before the booking.. so this is still fine for me. I didn't feel uncomfortable with that as I had a good sleep at night and they also provided the mosquito net. The weather was pleasant at night when I traveled to Sigiriya. But I think monitoring the fan regulator from time to time is a hectic tasks for the guests. Else, rest all were fine for me.

Loved the place! I wanted a treehouse experience in Sigiriya, and this spot was absolutely perfect! The little house feels brand new and is incredibly comfortable. They’ve thought of everything, even small details like conveniently turning the porch lights on and off from upstairs and plenty of plugs to charge everything. The house is in a large, beautiful garden, with only one tree house there at the moment, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere. I even saw peacocks in the garden—they climbed the trees and watched me! The WiFi was surprisingly good (I didn’t expect to have it), and the family hosting the place was wonderful, going above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay. I stayed for four nights, and it was, without a doubt, the best place I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka.

You are close to the jungle, and at night, you can hear all sorts of noises. I think there were squirrels on the rooftop, moving around in the darkness. During the day, it’s paradise; at night, it’s a different story. However, you can see the stars in a clear sky, which is quite magical. Make sure to avoid leaving the light on near the bathroom at night, as it will attract all kinds of insects.

Hospitality of the owner. They would andwer all of our requests immediately. It is a great family with a cute dog. The surrounding is also magical, you can feel you live among different kinds od animals.

The host was very kind, although her English is not perfect. She cooked me dinner and the food was one of the best I have had in Sri Lanka. Waking up in the tree house is really nice, beautiful sunrise if you can wake up early. Note that there isn’t hot water with the tree house but the other rooms yes.

We had a lovely stay in the tree house with a reallyyy wonderful view! Breakfast and also dinner was so amazing delicious with fruits they grew in their own garden. The room was really cozy and we could sleep very well without AC. We would recommend it to everyone.

It is a place not to be missed. The location is wonderful,serene and peaceful. There is a garden full of trees tidely reserved within the nature. You can spend relaxing time in the balcony just by the breeze under the trees.The rooms are clean,naturally maken,super tidy and cosy..there is a wooden roof and beds and furniture. The family who runs and owns it offer you whatever you need, breakfast, dinner, waters to buy and beers,sri lanka tea and coffee, tuk tuk and car for tours and safari. We will never forget the pure kindness of all the family and especially the good hearted lady of the family who is always willing to help you. Although we were not sure in the beginning to book it because there are not many reviews,as the place is brandly new and opened just in January, after our visit, we would highly recommend it.

It's a bit too far from main street, which at night force you to get a tuk tuk,because of elephant walking around in the dark.no wi fiu and the power was going down quite often, turning the room very hot without the fan

The very warm welcome from Chandika, Harshani and their family.😊 The large spacious room that looked brand new. The room smelt great and was immaculate and great WiFi.👌I loved seeing the children in the morning having fun playing cricket and football. They have the biggest smiles.😁 Harshani’s cooking was amazing and I felt like a king with how much food that she prepared every morning. 🥰 I highly recommend you using Chandika too for your tour of Lions Rock, Pidurangala Rock, Spice Garden and seeing Wild Elephants. This was my highlight whilst in Sri Lanka. I will miss you all but know I will visit again on my return to beautiful Sri Lanka. ☺️🙏❤️🇱🇰
