BimBan's- A cozy little place

Great value for money in this spacious apartment. I appreciated the super fast internet and it's in a great location, just a short walk to great stores and cafes. Very friendly owner who was available to help with anything I needed. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was good. I really loved the interiors. Aircon was perfect.

I feel the room was a little pricey. Also it was not mentioned anywhere that the stay is on the 2nd floor.

No breakfast or food facilities were expected

No proper identification of property, nobody to meet us on arrival with the flat key, we walked up 2 floors without lift with our bags, only to find it was the wrong building. We reached the property late in the evening after dark and were thinking of visiting a temple at 5.30 am, our flight was in the afternoon. The manager asked why we were late, asked whether we would check out at 5.30 am itself, so she could get another booking ! The owner met us in the morning, he was arrogant and wasn't interested in our problems, kept on giving a string of excuses. Indifferent owner and incompetent staff.

Apartment was on 2nd floor so difficult for older people to reach. Also difficult when you have heavy luggage.

Its a good place to stay with ur family.. owner are supportive.. they have provided all the amenities for ur comfortable stay

I stayed at BimBan's for 8 nights, and these are what I liked: 1. First of all, the host is very nice. This was actually my first time using Booking.com, so I had a lot of questions and requests, but they always tried to be helpful and responsed with kindness. 2. The location. This house is not located at too crowded place, so I could always take a peaceful rest. However, this doesn't mean it's inconvenient to get to tourist spots or urban areas—rather, most of the spots can be easily reached within 10-20 minutes. 3. The house itself. Neat, cozy, clean, safe(locks on every door), quiet, pleasant and comfortable. The kitchen also has proper utensils. 4. Last but not least, easy and convenient check-in and out procedure. Couple friendly as well.

Not a big deal, but I think it would be better if disposable indoor slippers were provided. I recommend carrying your own slippers to wear in the house.

it's truly a very cozy place, loved all the facilities provided, felt like home in a strange city.

To be honest.. I couldn't be more impressed with the experience of staying here . From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the hosts, made me feel right at home. The property itself is very maintained, with all the modern amenities with a cozy, homely atmosphere.

We were travelling to guwahati by road from Darjeeling and I happen to lost my purse. So I tried to pay via google pay and it failed for some reasons so i told the owner aunty that i will pay her in the morning, the next morning after i woke up the upi transaction was successful. So while i was about to head for kamakhya suddenly the owner aunty started asking for payment from window and it was not a good experience she should have either come down or call us bcoz speaking out that in public made us feel a little shy and hesitant but thats something she needs and can do better

The host was helpful and hospitable. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Had a pleasant stay.

Near the main road, walkable distance from platan bazar. Complete flat with enough utensils.

No lift, carrying luggage is a problem Place needs some more cleaning Only 1 geyser between 2 bathrooms, so it's an issue in winter morning if you go for morning slot kamakhya puja.

I've stayed here 4 times this year and it was perfect everytime. Good hosts and full privacy in a cozy apartment.

This property is nearby railway station uber , auto , taxi all are available whole day and night .

Everything is great , nothing to dislike. If a washing machine can be provided, it will be a great and complete home, the only thing missing from a complete home

The windows have slight gap where mosquitoes could get in. And no mosquitoes nets in front of the windows.

Firstly, the apartment was beautiful and cozy. It instantly felt like home. It was spotlessly clean. Also it's very private and there's no disturbance. It has everything that we might need for our stay. It also helps that it's located in the heart of the city. Overall a 10/10 experience and I will book it again the next time I visit guwahati.

Biman and Bandita (“BimBan”) are the young progressive married couple who run this property. Not only are they very knowledgeable and help to guide you to make the most of your stay, they are also quite fun and you may just end up out on the town having cocktails with them and their friends if you are so inclined. You can tell they have an artistic spirit by just looking at the photos of the property, where you can see baskets hanging from the ceiling, nice large tables, cozy couches, and little knickknacks, often rock ‘n’ roll and other interesting themes throughout the rooms. The place is clean, the beds are comfortable, you can even ask for your laundry to be done at an additional charge to pay the woman who does it. It’s off of the busy street and so is quiet, but is still walking distance to interesting places and restaurants. They live with their family in one of the other units in the building, so they’re there readily available if the need arises. This is one of those unusual properties that one should feel privileged to stay at anywhere in the world, let alone at the relatively inexpensive rate for what is provided. This was one of the best experiences I had during my entire travels in India, and I like to think that we became friends, over time and cocktails. I have only positive things to say about the property and my interactions with this couple and their family.

The apartment is cozy, very well positioned, close to the city centre but far from the traffic. Two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a nice living room, everything is perfect. But the real plus is represented by the two hosts, Biman and Bandita. Such a nice, interesting, helpful, welcoming couple. Best hosts ever.
