Reviewed Jan 9, 2026Das Haus liegt ruhig und versteckt zwischen Hügeln und Weiden. 3 Tagen waren wir dort. Bis Raglan sind es etwa 5-6 Minuten mit dem Auto. Die geschmackvolle Einrichtung, die große Fensterfront mit Fernblick und das Aussenbad hat uns sehr gut gefallen. TV mit Netflix kann man, muss man aber nicht unbedingt nutzen. Denn lieber sollte man die Zeit auf der großzügigen Terrasse mit BBQ Grill verbringen. Die freistehende Badewanne ist ein Feature, von dem man unbedingt mal Gebrauch machen sollte. Leider buchen wir niemals eine Location zweimal, ansonsten würden wir wohl wiederkommen! Dank an Tiara für den tollen und entspannten Aufenthalt.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025Achteraf gezien is het best prijzig geweest met ruim 600 euro voor 3 nachten. Het huisje was prima, de douche geweldig, bedden goed. Bij ontvangst een klein verrassingspakketje met chips en koffie.
Het blijft jammer dat je helemaal niemand van de eigenaren hebt ontmoet. Zeer onpersoonlijk. Het zou ook fijn zijn als er meer ramen open kunnen en er een hor komt voor de ramen die je wel kan openen. De insecten vliegen je namelijk om de oren. Raglan zelf is een geweldige plek en omgeving. Het dorpje heeft een geweldige sfeer en goede winkeltjes en restaurants. Een tip: Doe wat aan die steile gravelweg omhoog. Bij andere huisjes is dat netjes opgelost met asfalt of beton,, maar bij nummer 30 was het iedere keer lopend naar de auto die boven stond.

Reviewed Oct 26, 2025The place was especially nicely decorated, had fun games for us to play in the evening, amazing showers (indoor and outdoor!), a great covered porch to hang out on (though we made the quick trip into Raglan to explore instead), all the amenities we needed in a kitchenette, and an amazing view from the nearly wall-sized picture windows. And the hosts were very sweet and welcoming!

Reviewed Nov 24, 2024We enjoyed every moment living at this place. Nestled on a large farm surrounded by mountains, the setting is truly breathtaking. The cabin itself is brand new, with excellent facilities, and nothing beats enjoying a relaxing hot shower/bath after exploring one of the nearby tracks. The cabin is compact, but the design of it is both clever and stylish, it felt perfectly comfortable and cozy for our family of three. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, leaving us fruit and treats on the table. A heartfelt welcome note drawn by their 5-year-old was such a delightful and personal touch. The location is also fantastic, being close to the town center and just a short drive to the beautiful Bridal Veil Falls.
One small note is that the bathroom is located between the two bedrooms and connected by two sliding doors（this design makes sense given the compact size of the cabin, where every square meter is thoughtfully utilized and not wasted), which might result in some noise issues. This wasn’t a problem for us as a family, but it could feel a bit less private for groups that aren’t traveling as a family.
