Mold in the bathroom Couch needs to be changed but besides that everything was amazing

Reviewed Feb 24, 2025The window coverings in the bedroom are thin and flimsy, making the room exceptionally light, so it was difficult to sleep. As soon as the sun was up, we were forced awake too. The apartment also backs right onto a very busy main road, so it was noisy too. This also made sleeping difficult. It was hot in JHB when we were there, and there was no way to keep the room cool..... no fans provided. The batteries in the remote were dead, so we were not able to use the TV.

Bed linen and pillows- higher thread count bedding (Egyptian cotton) and softer pillows ( feathers or feather like) would go with the luxury positioning. Position of the apartment on the ground floor meant a lot of foot traffic at most times so made it a bit noisy. Would have been good to have block out curtaining in the bedroom as the lights from the clubhouse in the night and the early morning light streaming in affects sleep

👎🏼 No enough tissues stayed 6 days provided only 2, False advertisement of hairdryer, No headboard socket only 1 in the room, No Air Conditioner and heater, The host was not communicative enough and we had to walk from property to gate to fetch deliveries

I like to be in a clean environment and we like to cook - but didn’t find any kitchen swabs/ sponges to wash some of the cups and plates we used so it was difficult to wash dishes. Unless I missed where they were put in the house?

Reviewed Nov 21, 2023Excellent location and security at the property is very good. It is a corner unit, so it is quiet. It is a comfortable space. Wifi works well and using Netflix was a breeze. Great TV.
There are no curtains in the bedroom - only sheer/lace curtains. Which means that when day breaks from 5am the room becomes very lit up. And at night, the security lights outside, shines into the bedroom. Some blinds or curtains will go a very long way in ensuring undisturbed sleep.

Not blind or block out curtains in the bedroom so very bright as soon as the sun rises. Was extremely hot so need a tan in the bedroom because it was too hot and no curtains to keep out the sun and heat.

Place was dirty. Toilet bin not emptied. Pots, stove, generally not clean. Dining chairs flimsy and broken. Prepaid electricity not topped up on arrival. No curtains on bedroom window, Security spotlight shines in to make night day. Had to put up cardboard to block it out and hang a blanket on the big window. Booked two weeks, had to request linen change which was then washed in my room. Noisy neighbours upstairs. (Loud music)
