Winter's Hideaway Suite

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und komfortabel, bei den Parkplatzkosten kam man uns entgegen.

Spacious, large modern suite with very comfortable bed. All the toiletries were local…nice touch and lovely scent. Great location…walking distance to all amenities.

So eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation war immer schnell und hervorragend. Die Lage war für uns Klasse. Nah am Örtchen und dennoch ruhig.

Een hele fijne plek. Dichtbij alles gelegen. We hebben genoten van het comfortabele bed en de goed uitgeruste badkamer. ´S avonds was het genieten op het terras. De pizzeria vlakbij is een echte aanrader.

Alles was perfect voor ons.

De locatie was top, vlak bij centrum en mooie wandelroutes. Het huisje was ruim, schoon en netjes met een keukenblokje (magnetron, koffie etc). Bed was fantastisch! Buiten erg gezellig met een lampje in het donker. Super gastvrij dat er gast accounts waren voor Disney en PrimeVideo. Al met al een aanrader!

Stylisch, groß, praktisch, schöner Außenbereich. Gute Lage: Zu Fuß ist man schnell beim Supermarkt, Pizzeria, auf dem Walking Trail.

Het was een luxe suite. Van alle gemakken voorzien. De badkamer was ontzettend mooi en de douche was heerlijk. Wat ook fijn was is dat je een zitje binnen en buiten had. Het was gewoon top.

Prima suite om te verblijven. Schoon, modern ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Je kan lopend naar de restaurants en winkels.

La suite est jolie, propre et confortable. Facile à trouver, dans un environnement calme et très bien située pour découvrir la totalité de la partie ouest de l'île. Les propriétaires sont très aimables et la communication a été facile. Je recommande fortement.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer, tolle Lage, ruhig und zentral gelegen. Wir wohnten ungestört und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank nochmal für die Flasche Wein!

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln!!

Sehr gute Unterkunft, sehr sauber und geräumig und topmodern. Die Inhaber standen jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung, aber wir brauchten darauf nicht zurückkommen, da alles selbsterklärend war. Es fehlte eigentlich nur noch ein Herd bzw. eine kleine Spülmaschine, dann wäre es perfekt gewesen.

Die Unterkunft war größer als wir erwartet haben. Auf dem Bilder sieht die gar nicht so groß aus, dies hat uns positiv überrascht. Es war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass man draußen entspannt sitzen konnte. Man hat sich wie zu Hause gefühlt :) Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen und können dir nur weiterempfehlen:)

The location was super. Easy walking to most of Ucluelet. The studio was first class with everything you needed. Very quiet!

Il y avait beaucoup de bruit sur notre tête. Aucune vue alors que l'on suppose qu'il a une vue sur l'eau selon les photos. Équipement de cuisine très limité.

The suite was perfect for a little solo getaway! It is super clean and everything was very thought-through - from the wine, the locally made soaps, to the great decor. The suite is attached to a main house, which means, you do hear the hosts a little but during the day, but come 10pm, I didn't hear a single thing. So you will still get a great night's sleep! The location cannot be beat, especially not for that price. I really have no real complaints and I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I would maybe add is a little drawer for clothes and a mirror. If you are staying multiple days, a clothing rack instead of just hooks would be nice.

The bed was so comfortable. The room was very spacious and well designed for comfort and relaxation. Tons of amenities like yoga mats and a fire pit.

The gutter noise didn't let us sleep comfortably. The cleaning supplies were hard to reach in the bathroom.

Clean, modern and comfortable. We especially liked their support for local companies - the coffee, wine and toiletries were all from BC. Highly recommend!

Would be helpful to have some wall hooks and a landing zone for keys/bags/etc. right at the entry doorway to avoid wet floors and tracking in dirt

The room was spacious and very modern. Everything was clean and neat. The location was lovely and very convenient. Our favorite was the propane fire pit in the front. Having your coffee there first thing in the morning was an amazing way to start your day!

Clean, beautifully decorated and looked after. Lots of thought given to making your stay comfortable. Hosts were friendly and approachable for help when needed.

Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Nicely decorated in west coast style. Comfortable bed & linens. Well equipped and very clean. The small fridge, sink & kettle were all appreciated. Owners were available if needed but had provided everything we needed to be comfortable. Very quiet which made for good sleeps. Easy access to downtown & the Wild Pacific Trail.

Amazing interior design and location, the hosts were super nice and helpful.

The lighthouse signal was quite loud at night, so I couldn’t sleep without really good earplugs.

Everything was amazing! Great room, great location, great host and great communication! The room is inside a modern, newly built house of a family who have their access on the other side. The rental has its very own private outside are including a fire pit and a paring spot. They welcomed us with a complementary bottle of BC wine.

Absolutely everything. Everything in the Suite was top quality from the soaps, shampoos etc through to the furniture and quality wall hangings. This place is a step up and was perfect.

We spent 3 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The bed was the best bed I’ve ever stayed in. Was a gorgeous location and very peaceful. Was amazing to just decompress around the fire in the evening .

I liked the quality touches, like yummy smelling locally made soaps and bathroom amenities. The place is bigger than the pictures look too. Great parking right by the door, and its location is very central to most areas of Ucluelet. Cozy and comfortable definitely.

This place is AMAZING. The hosts are lovely, smooth check in process. They also made an effort and left a sweet gift as it was our honeymoon! Shower - THIS WAS MAGICAL, and the products provided are divine. Bed is huge and incredibly comfortable. Location is awesome you can complete hikes from your doorstep or short drive to Tofino and all the beaches/walks in-between. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The place was very spacious and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and we felt very at home and comfortable there. The setting is stunning with the forest all around.

Price point 1st of all. The quiet area, very close to every amenity in the area you'll ever need. Great bathroom products, we will book again.

Get used to the Fog Horn, hahaha. It's the island, it's the vibe.

Very much felt like being in family garage. Little to no sound proofing from main house. Felt like I had to keep curtains drawn at all times for any sort of privacy as in front of family driveway.

If you're looking for a nice, very clean and comfortable place to stay and don't mind that the suite is attached to the home of the owners, it's an excellent choice of stay for Ucluelet. Downtown is walking distance with plenty of food and drink options also within walking distance. We did enjoy our stay there and will recommend to others but I don't think we will return ourselves.

This is my experience, and i doubt many others will feel the same. I'm trying to be honest, not negative. It's just not a great time when after an exhausting day of travel, you realise how misled you were about your stay, which I could've paid less for somewhere more relaxing for us. There were a few surprises I didn't anticipate. It was not made clear in the ad that the suite was a remodeled garage attached to a house. The pictures didn't even indicate a residential home there, so I was under the impression it would be just us and maybe another suite with other guests, not the owners. It is a family and while they did not disrupt to our stay we really felt like we had to tip toe around because they had young children and if I can hear them.thumping then they can hear us too; and we were looking for a private stay( for a couple escaping their own children for a weekend)which is why I booked this place. Most importantly, they prohibit smoking of any kind of their property. Had I known that initially, I would have never booked this place. We came out to BC to walk our legs off and spend the evening relaxing around the fire and we couldn't even do that because we smoke so we had to spend our evening wandering around which was good but also awful, we were exhausted. The windows are quite low to the ground, so there is no privacy if you have any window open, and the side window is a direct view of their front entrance. Also it says mountain and garden view but other than their property being a very nice treed in location there is no mountain view from the room or property only trees and driveway.

Pretty central location and would be good for walking to most places if weather not torrential! Felt so comfy and really chilled, complimentary bottle of red helped! Extremely spacious with everything you need available. We would definitely book this accommodation again. We were sad not to be able to make use of the outside chairs and gas fire pit but Mother Nature had other ideas. Brilliant storm surges though!

This was the perfect place to stay! The suite was very comfy and the hosts were amazing. They even let us know that the road was going to be closed for the day so that we could plan around it. Great communication. Would 100% stay again.

a great place to explore ucluelet. very stylish and tastefully decorated. wonderful bathroom with rain shower and soothing products. coffee and wine on top. small kitchen finely equipped. fireplace to sit and enjoy. we enjoyed our stay very much.

We love it all! Every comfort from the parking to the wine, the good smell, the tv with Netflix account, all the necessary in the bathroom and a lot of tips about what to do and where to eat. Wonderful stay!

Loved this place, well located, very clean and modern and had everything we needed. Hosts were on hand when we needed but we had great privacy in this self contained suite with thoughtful touches.

I really appreciate how clean and spacious the room was! The room had the comfiest bed and the softest towels, and it is a convenient walking distance from town. I would definitely stay here again when I'm back in Ucluelet.

An extra towel rack or shelf in the washroom would be nice.

Cozy suite within walking distance to Ucluelet shops and restaurants. Suite was clean and hosts were really friendly and helpful. I would stay again!

The place was exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was nice and big and had great water pressure. Nice propane fire pit outside with comfortable chairs. Great location, close enough to walk most everything in town. Owners of the unit were very friendly and helpful. We arrive right as the whole town and surrounding towns lost power due to an accident. They made sure we had candles and a flashlight.

Winter's hideaway is a cozy accommodation near the heart of Ucluelet. It becomes your home away from home during vacation and gives you a setting close enough to explore the rest of the city.

There's not much that I didn't like.
