The bed, pillows, sheets all smelled like sweat and dirt. When I asked for the staff guy to change them, he said the cleaner left for the day. Look at many other reviews. Its on going. They dont clean the bedding. On top of that, they have signs everywhere saying no noise after 10pm and someone was banging around making a ruckus till 230am

This hostel was cleaner and more satisfying than my previous 4-star hotel.

It's Cleanliness and being a vegetarian place

It's a decent hostel space in the heart of the Tuol Tompong near the Russian market. Great location! The staff is all friendly and helpful. The food downstairs is all vegan and mostly pretty tasty.

It was too loud and tight. They only run the AC in the evening and shut it off earlier. It's very hard to get a break from the heat during the day.

Hostel cleanliness was sub par, could not close or lock shared bathroom for private rooms as handle and lock had been broken and not bothered to have been fixed. Only toilet paper that was supplied to private rooms was wet, balcony bathroom had absolutely no paper at all and piss all over the toilet. Hostel is not very big but no maintenance has been done and cleanliness has fallen past what is acceptable, plenty of staff just the cleaning and upkeep is not met. Air con remote did not work and needed to be replaced, either freezing cold or boiling hot when off just had two settings on full or you could only turn off by turning power off to the room. Was there for four days, not one other guest spoke to me or anyone that I saw, not a freindly hostel.

La habitación estaba bien, correcta sin más. Lo único es que entraba muchísima luz por la mañana porque las cortinas no cerraban bien.

El baño compartido es bastante incómodo y poco agradable de usar. Además, la habitación está en la parte más alta del hostel y llegar hasta ella se hace pesado, sobre todo varias veces al día.

Nada. La habitación olía muchisimo a cigarrillo. El olor era insoportable. Ni con el ac se iba. Asqueroso. Dormí fatal toda la noche.

La habitación olía muchísimo a cigarrillo, un olor fuerte y constante que no se iba ni con el aire acondicionado. Era bastante desagradable y me costó dormir. Lo comuniqué al alojamiento y no hicieron nada al respecto, lo cual empeora bastante la experiencia.

La comida del restaurante es buenísima aunque un poco cara para Camboya. La primera habitación que me dieron, aunque no tenía ventana, estaba limpia y era cómoda.

Me cambiaron de habitación tantas veces durante la estancia, que ya perdi la cuenta. Lo cual fue bastante frustrante. Sí, fui extendiendo noche a noche, pero aun así esperaba un poco más de esfuerzo por parte del alojamiento para evitar estar haciendo y deshaciendo la mochila constantemente. Fue incómodo y muy poco agradable.

Sinceramente, ya solo me quería ir.

Pedí un reembolso prácticamente en el mismo momento de hacer la reserva porque me equivoqué y, además, tenía miedo de que me volvieran a poner en la habitación que olía a cigarrillo, donde era imposible estar. La respuesta fue confusa desde el principio. Me dijeron que podían “hacerme el reembolso”, pero en realidad implicaba que yo tuviera que pagar una cantidad igualmente. Es decir, no era un reembolso real y yo ya había pagado. O sea, básicamente me estaban haciendo pagar el doble. Además, con tantos cambios de habitación, acabaron perdiéndome una camisa, que después encontré tirada en el pasillo. Entre eso, la mala gestión y la falta de soluciones, la experiencia fue bastante frustrante.

All vegan which was really nice, it was clean. The food was good.

On arrival we were shown to our rooms, 4 of us, 2 in each room. After about 10 minutes in our room, somebody kept knocking at our door, telling us we had to swap with our friends. I was mid shower, which I told them, but they said I had to change right then and there. There was no apology, and I, half showered, had to change rooms. The cafe also had some problems, serving half our table breakfast within 10 minutes and the other half took 50 minutes, despite them only waiting for an avocado toast. It’s also important to mention that the private room isn’t very private, it is connected to the dorm room by the ceiling, as in the wall doesn’t touch the ceiling, so you can still hear everything happening in the dorm.

The staff were great to deal with.

I had a private room which was comfortable, although no natural light. The terrace area and staff were nice, and the location was good too.

A few times people tried to come into my room from the dorm (it is right next door so I think new people think it's a bathroom), perhaps a sign would help?

El lugar se encuentra muy cerca del mercado, silencioso y hay un café en la entrada

Cama de madera, colchón duro, luz tenue que poco dejaba ver, los enchufes no encajaban, paredes y techo de material ligero. Habitación en 4 piso con escaleras muy pequeñas. Dejamos nuestras maletas en la primera planta por esa razón.

Cute and amazing value room. Staff were always really friendly and were helpful if you were to need anything! Room it self was a tad basic but honestly nothing to fuss about. Having a Cafe below your stay is always nice, even though we’re aren’t vegan ourselves the breakfast was tasty.

Nothing about the room or property. Although, since you’re connected to the dorm room, there was an unpleasant cheesy feet smell coming from the dorm I think due to lack of air which wasn’t the most pleasant.

I had a perfect experience staying here for a week, I loved the communal relaxation area, the seats were very comfy and there are 2 fans to position as you like, The lovely plants all around and inside we're another great addition and made the place feel very tranquil. The food offered here was all 10/10 in my opinion, and being just a minutes walk from the Russian Market I was able to enjoy delicious local breakfasts. Staff was more than friendly and helpful. I would love to come stay again, Sacred Lotus guesthouse is amazing.

Great location, great value — nice simple spot to stay for a few days. We had the private room and it was clean with comfortable beds. The rooftop patio was really nice though and the food at the cafe was so good!!

Bathrooms were not very clean and the area outside the room where the dorms were smelled really weird.

The staff were lovely. The location is great. I ate several meals at the cafe, and they were all delicious. The rooftop is a nice place to relax. The shower had hot water.

The room was not soundproof at all. It was right next to the rooftop where people were hanging out and eating, so you could hear everything and everyone all of the time. And the blanket on my bed smelt like body odour, so it clearly wasn't clean. I really wanted to love this place, and there were positive parts to the hostel, especially the food at the restaurant, but unfortunately I probably wouldn't stay in the accommodation again.

Nice staff and good amenities. The fan made a lot of noise...it can be changed, and when someone is moving in his bed, it moves all the other beds. Otherwise everything was nice

La nourriture était très bonne et la terrasse est très agréable. L'emplacement sympa à côté du marché russe.

La chambre était très humide (moisissures au plafond, pas d'aération, clim cassée, pas d'eau chaude) et la salle de bain n'était pas propre (cheveux partout, restes de savon, papiers de shampoing des derniers clients...). Très déçue pour le prix. On peut trouver beaucoup mieux et moins cher à Phnom-Penh.

Die Sauberkeit im Bad , sofern man einen Raum mit knapp 2qm so bezeichnen kann, kommt über Khmer Standard nicht hinaus. Da ist noch viel Luft nach oben. 13.-$ für ein 10qm Zimmer sind kein Schnäppchenpreis. Und 18.-$ für das ebenfalls nur 10qm große Rooftopzimmer , ohne eigenes Bad, schon gar nicht. Für den Preis gibt's deutlich besseres.

Decent vegan meals! Next door to Russian Market and many restaurants, cafes and bars for late night outing. I like the open space on the third floor where you can relax and read.

Wifi is very slow, too slow even for chatting on Signal.

Good location, good food, great atmosphere. Pretty cheap and value for money for the accommodation. Nice staff.

Private rooms are limited so make sure to book them ahead of time. I wanted to extend but it was full so ended up having to go to the dorms. Ac is only allowed to be turned on at night, and there's only 1 fan to share for all the dorm beds.

Я поставив таку низьку оцінку лише через одне - їхні розетки. Їх багато, але вони усі погані. Зарядити свій телефон чи інший гаджет складно. Я звик ставити на ніч на зарядку, а зранку воно уже все заряджене. Однак тут щарядка птстійно відходила, через що доводилось заряджати знизу біля рецепції, хоча і там ситуація не ідеальна. Якщо б не розетки, я б поставив цьому місцю 9 або 10 балів.

I like that when I came, at 11-12 o'clock at night, the guy from staff opened the door very soon, without problem, even when I didn't book a place. Stiff gave me boil and drinking water, and everybody was very friendly. Downstairs beautiful cosy cafe. Clean space. Good that here is a balcony and near the market, and massage salon with a blind masseur.

Everything is good. Maybe I'd be glad to see the kettle in the room. And I think when dorm is full perhaps will be too closely and too many people.

Staff, were great, hippie style cool low-key individuals. Good English, rooftop looks beautiful. Good location. Top floor is good to work from imo as well as its isolated from the other rooms and if you are working in the night then it’s ideal.

Some of the other dorm rooms don’t have a door and is a bit too close to one another imo, but this is only a gripe because I work during early hours in the morning and the upstairs solves this issue

The food was incredible! We tried most of the items on the menu and I'd recommend everything especially the Congee and burgers. The rooms was slightly smaller than expected but considering it was on the same floor as the bunk bed hostel room it was very peaceful. The staff were amazing and were so attentive I cant praise them enough! Thank you, we cant wait to come back!

It was really not well cleaned and I had to leave earlier because every morning (I stayed there for 2 nights) I wake up totally full of insect bites, I'm quite sure it's bedbugs.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. I ate many dishes from the vegan menu and I likes all of them💚The location is great, right by the Russian market and not far away from the airport. The rooftop is incredible and you'll find plants everywhere.
