As a full-time traveler, please trust my opinion when I say everything about this accommodation was/is perfect!... Staff are super kind and welcoming- always happy to answer questions and give advice relating to Chengdu and onward travel and everything else in between. 🙏 Beds are comfortable in dorms, spacious cupboards for all luggage and side tables in pod are really useful. Clean/modern bathroom too. Fluffy towels and personalised slippers included. Buffet breakfast is very tasty and plentiful. Lunch/dinner menu extensive (from China, Korea, Thailand) and delicious! Tour desk offers popular and unique tours within Chengdu and to other places, including Tibet! Would love to return in the future and use this multi-day service :) Everything is comfortable, atmospheric, happy and chilled- the most amazing hostel I have ever stayed in!

O hotel está localizado em uma zona muito comercial, perto do metrô (10 min caminhando) e de muitos restaurantes. O staff foi incrível, falavam inglês e nos ajudaram com muitas dicas e a reservar o Panda Base. As instalações eram muito limpas e confortáveis. O café da manhã tinha várias opções.

The hotel is located in a very beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The staff speaks excellent English and helps with any requests, whether it’s currency exchange or visiting local attractions.

The location was super convenient being a short (10 - 15 minutes walk) from line 1. The staff were incredibly friendly, rooms were clean, the dorms have a private bathroom. Normally, I don't eat the included breakfast at hostels but this one was worth making an exception for. If I'm ever in Chengdu again, I would definitely try staying here again. They even remembered my birthday!

The only thing I didn't like and this would be more me being nitpicky is that the outlets are spring loaded so my charger kept on falling out because of its weight. The other inconvenience is that in order for the lights to turn on you need to leave your roomkey in a slot by the door, not that big of a deal, but takes some coordination with roommates

Everything was perfect

Very close to the monastery and food and massage places. Complimentary snacks in the room was unexpected and welcomed along with good quality tea.

We had the most wonderful stay at Xishu Garden Inn! The location is great for exploring Chengdu, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Best of all, the staff are so friendly and helpful! They gave us some great suggestions, helped us book tickets, and organised a fantastic day trip to the Panda Research Base and Leshan. I highly recommend Xishu Garden Inn, and hope to visit again one day!

The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet and very comfortable, and the beds were especially comfortable, ensuring an excellent night’s sleep. The hotel is located in a lively neighbourhood with plenty of shops, restaurants and local life, but without the crowds and overwhelming atmosphere of some of Chengdu’s busier streets. A wonderful place to stay, and one we would happily recommend.

Everything was perfect.

The location is very near to Wenshu monastery, peaceful street with lots of food options. A small but cozy room. The staffs are so lovely and helpful, they speak English well and ready to assist you with anything. Lovely breakfast in a cute garden ❤️

Siamo arrivati durante una giornata di pioggia a Chengdu. Purtroppo abbiamo avuto una brutto primo impatto. La hall era allegata, la zona con lavori in corso e ci è capitata una stanza con muri rotti per l’umidità. La ragazza alla reception è stata gentilissima. Abbiamo pagato solo una notte come “penale” e abbiamo preferito andare via.

Stanza molto grande confortevole staff disponibile abbiamo fatto un ceck out tardivo alle 18 pagando la metà del costo della stanza e mi è sembrato onesto rispetto alla prassi di farti pagare il costo totale della camera. Hanno anche buon ristorante. La zona è carina e con Didi ti muovi facilmente

Todo. El personal se portó muy bien con nosotros. Durante nuestro viaje mi pareja enfermó y tuvimos que ir a urgencias por la noche, una situación que asusta cuando estas en otro país. El personal llamó al hospital para asegurarse de que estaba abierto y nos dio aguas para el viaje. A raiz de la fiebre, nos tuvimos que quedar en el hotel varios dias, y las chicas de recepción nos ayudaron muchisimo durante nuestro hospedaje. Les estamos realmente agradecidos. El hotel esta muy bien situado y las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y modernas. Solo llegar, nos ofrecieron un refresco, y en la habitación nos habían dejado algunos dulces y vino. Estaba todo muy limpio. Además nos dieron un mapa y nos explicaron que podiamos ir a ver y recomendaciones. El desayuno tiene muchas opciones, entre ellas occidentales, y el jardín donde se toma es muy bonito. Todas las instalaciones son preciosas, y se nota que el hotel está bien cuidado.

È un hotel fantastico: ha un’ottima posizione per fare due passi nella zona commerciale, vicino al famoso Monastero di Wenshu e non lontano dalla metro.La colazione è sia occidentale sia cinese,con una scelta molto varia. Tutto lo staff è gentilissimo, in particolare Jane, Bella e Lily, che ci hanno aiutato con qualsiasi richiesta. Perfino il giorno della partenza, visto che non avevamo tempo per fare colazione, ci hanno preparato un pacchetto da portare via con tramezzini, yogurt e un dolce. Torneremmo volentieri! 😊

Tot. Però cal destacar l'ajuda i amabilitat de l'staff. Ens han ajudat molt en tot el que hem necessitat i ens han donat bones idees. L'hotel és molt còmode. La situació immillorable, a 10' del metro. L'esmorzar molt complert i quan el fan take away, també. Per a nosaltres aquest hotel és un 10.

A wonderful hotel with an extremely helpful staff (all of them speak English). A very nice location: nearby the monastery, 5-minute walk from the underground station. The neighborhood is very quiet in the evening. The room was clean, the breakfasts were full of both Chinese and European food. Fruit and vegetables, tasty coffee and special lemon tea (to cool when it’s boiling hot outside) The hotel has a very good menu for having lunch. The dishes are simple and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and we’ll return next year. Ladies, thank you for making our stay so pleasant and memorable.

Increíble todo, un desayuno magnífico (tanto el día que desayunamos ahí como el que salimos muy pronto y lo llevamos puesto) habitación completisima, con te/café de cortesía, cortinas con control digital, baño limpisimo y con jabones y champú buenos. Personal super amable y ambiente lleno de pandas (a la salida tuvieron un detalle bonito con nosotros). Bien conectado con el centro. Encantados. Super recomendable

Por decir algo, está un poco lejos del metro para ir con maletas y hasta que te acostumbras el camino es un poco lioso, pero la experiencia estupenda.

Personale gentile e ottima accoglienza: sono stati anche molto disponibili a prepararci una colazione da portare via per la nostra partenza presto l’ultimo giorno. Il miglior soggiorno del nostro viaggio in Cina e un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliatissimo!

Esmorzar i personal de 10. Llit molt comfortable.

Personale qualificato e gentile, che padroneggia la lingua inglese, raro in Cina persino negli hotel. Posizione ottima, pulizia impeccabile, non vi soffermate all'aspetto dell'ingresso, c'erano dei lavori di fronte e la stradina non si presenta al meglio. All'interno l'atmosfera è calma e molto accogliente. Le stanze nuove e dotate di ogni confort.

Tema panda presente e molto bello, water tecnologico e camera moderna.

This place was a godsend after I had to move from my original accommodation. The staff were so helpful and kind. They provided a map with useful information and delicious restaurant recommendations. They were very willing to answer all my questions. They even left a surprise birthday card and present in my room for me! The room was clean, comfortable and modern. Great AC and hot water. I didn't eat the breakfast but the coffee was very nice. I saw others complain about the timing but I think this is a pretty standard breakfast window in China. The location is about a 10 min walk from the nearest metro but it is worth it for the location. It might only be an issue with luggage but you can use Didi for that. I also saw someone else complain about the birdsong 😂

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and all the furniture and facilities were modern and in excellent condition. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and they spoke English very well, which made communication very easy. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of choices to suit different tastes. The location was also very convenient, just around 700 meters from the nearest metro station, making it easy to explore the city.

Très bon emplacement au calme dans un quartier pourtant central et animé. Bel hôtel dans un bâtiment ancien rénové avec goût, tout en ayant gardé tout son charme. Chambre bien décorée et équipée, literie confortable, rideaux bien occultants, propreté irréprochable. Pour couronner le tout, l’équipe est super sympa, bilingue anglais et donne de bons conseils indépendants, sans chercher à vendre abusivement. Nous y avons passé 4 nuits et reviendrons en fin de séjour, nous vous le conseillons sans hésiter.

Les fenêtres sont d’origine, donc hyper charmantes mais en simple vitrage avec ouvrant en bois traditionnel. Malgré le calme il peut y avoir un peu de bruit.

Absolutamente todo el hotel está súper bien localizado muy cerca del metro solo a 10 minutos caminando 🚇 con que el llegas a todos los sitios fácilmente,el barrio tiene una zona de calles peatonales llenas de restaurantes y tiendas muy bonitas para comprar todo tipo de suvenirs de calidad y el templo a 3 minutos caminando . El desayuno en su jardín precioso es variado todo fresco y delicioso 😋 para todos los gustos pero lo que más cabe destacar es la amabilidad y atención de su equipo hago mención especial a Sophie quien nos organizó un tour privado a la zona del Tíbet de Sichuan lo cual fue toda una experiencia inolvidable con mi hijo ,nunca olvidaremos todo lo que vimos y hasta donde nos llevó su chofer . Si vienes a Chendu no busques más pues este hotel es acierto seguro . Un abrazo a todo el staff del hotel y espero veros pronto delicioso nuevo muchas gracias chicas .

De locatie is top. Midden in de drukke straat met allerlei leuke winkels en restaurants. Heel sfeervol! En de kamers waren top! Beste tot nu toe. Heel schoon en nieuw. Personeel is top, vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

Location is very good. Staff are amazing. They were helpful with everything. Extra compliment to Sophie who put together a fantastic day tour for us. Same for the guide Cora they send with us. It was one of the best days of out China trip. Rooms are good and clean. Breakfast was fine. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Chengdu.

Shower was taking forever to get warm and weak water pressure. But this is quite common in China.

A little bit far away from traditional sightseeing places. Also, the main entrance was tucked in and not easy to find.

We stayed there for two nights. It was a bit hard to find the location but good and safe enough to walk around and shop. When we entered inside everything seemed so relaxing. There is small garden near the reception with love birds, that reminds the love and kindness. The playing Chinese music was comforting. The staff were smiling, kind, helpful, and friendly. The hotel and the rooms were so clean, neat, and orderly that I felt so happy, especially after our stay in another hotel. Our luggages were brought for us to our room and air conditioning was already opened before we arrived to our room. We stayed in the family room. The panda design is very enjoyable. That was large enough for families with one child. The showerhead was high quality. We liked the snacks and teas. Also the big window and bird voices coming outside was attractive, making the place more natural. The breakfast was good. The vegetables and fruits were my favorite. Laundry was simple to do. All in all this hotel made our two days in Chengdu more pleasant and relaxing. We were eager to return to our hotel to rest during the day. I hope we can come here again.

First of all, the location was a bit difficult to find for us. The hotel entrance and lobby would be cooler with an air conditioning. I wanted to spend more time there to read books and write but I could not because it was hot. Still they let us sit inside the restaurant part which was cool enough. In our first room there was no refrigerator. There could be one to make our water cool. The panda faces in the room could be smiling 😁 There could be boiled eggs for the breakfast. It is more than enough but of course could be even better with the useful feedback from the guests.

Cogimos la habitación familiar aunque somos dos personas y fue un acierto, porque el espacio y la cama extra nos vinieron muy bien para extender el equipaje. El baño estaba muy bien. El personal de recepción y de guest ervice muy amable, cogimos con ellos una opera y nos hicieron muchas recomendaciones para otras visitas.

El desayuno lo vimos muy muy justo, un buffet muy pequeño, con pocas opciones y sin leche de vaca fría. Cenamos un día en el restaurante del hotel y nos dejó bastante que desear.

L’allotjament està molt ben ubicat i en una bona zona (aprop del Monasteri Wenshu). El personal és molt amable i t’ajuda en tot el que poden. L’esmorzar està molt bo i és abundant.

We had two stays at Xishu Garden Inn, bookending our holiday in Sichuan. The Inn is lovely, in a great location and with good facilities. Rooms are clean and well appointed, and the courtyard is a comfortable place to relax. But it’s the staff who really make the stay exceptional. They are friendly and knowledgeable, very happy to help out with suggestions for things to do and see, and how best to get around.

Nothing really - it was a great base for visiting Chengdu and environs.

The hotel is near to subway and supermarket (+-10min walk), breakfast buffet is great, and staff is alway open to help you in any way possible. The bed was comfortable, accessible electric plugs next to the bed, room and bathroom very clean. Laundry facilities are great. Special thanks to Lin (night shift), she was super friendly and helpful from the first day to the very last.

The WiFi connection wasn’t the more stable. As a digital nomad, to have stable connectivity is imperative and that wasn’t always the case. The location instructions were very confusing, unfortunately.

We really enjoyed our stay at Xishu Garden Inn. The hotel is very cozy, beautiful, and located in a great historic area of Chengdu. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful with many small things during our stay, which made us feel very welcome. It was also very convenient that the staff spoke English. We stayed for 3 nights and had a very pleasant experience.

Le personnel est accueillant et arrangeant (j'ai pu laisser mon vélo à l'intérieur) et l'endroit est confortable, très propre. Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux, il varie aussi un peu chaque jour, on est paré pour une journée d'exploration et ne reprendre de vrai repas que le soir!

Peut-être un légèrement cher pour un dortoir, mais on m'a laissé quelques jours seul dans mon dortoir donc j'étais même en chambre individuelle! la plupart du temps :-)

I think the hotel is converted from a old house complex. Very unique and tasteful, particular the patio where you can dine and keep relaxed. Breakfast was wonderful. It is not a buffet breakfast. Choices for western and Chinese food which are freshly made to your order. Staff are particularly friendly and helpful.

Завтрак не очень, как и везде в Китае. Здесь уже на любителя китайской кухни.
