Tyvärr var det väldigt dåligt städat, läget var inte heller bra, slitna faciliteter och smutsiga lakan. Inte värt priset.

Booked for my parents.. they impressed with Hotel service and feel safe and comfort. This hotel is located in a safe marketplace area with easy access to transportation across Delhi. The rooms are very clean, and the hotel staff are professional and helpful.

Everything about Hotel Uptown is excellent. However, adding a handrail to the entrance stairs would greatly help handicapped guests

Bad location. The common areas smell like a putrid urinal. Room was tiny. The rooftop bar is not a bar at all. Beer not stocked on the premises. I waited 40minutes while someone went to a liquor outlet to purchase. Bizarre!

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. We had dinner, breakfast and lunch and the food was delicious (apart from a misunderstanding at breakfast). The bedlinen were clean, and the location is good if you're used to India. Otherwise it would be a little bit overwhelming.

The room was very run down and dirty and they advertise it as a deluxe room. The shower curtain was so disgusting, we tried not to touch it. Apart from reception nobody understood one word English. For example on the breakfast menu card it says: Toast, butter and jam. We ordered that and we received staked toasts with jam in the middle (but the omelettes were nice).

Don’t be afraid to ask the staff about anything or for any amenities. I’ve seen other reviews complaining about noise, this’ll be the same almost anywhere in India. Located on a busy Bazaar but is also very convenient to catch Autos/tuktuks, and nearby pharmacists and convenience stores.

Some taps in the bathroom leaked a little bit but other than that no issues really.

Chandan Mahra from Utarrakhand is a good guy. He granted me a room with a window while I had booked a room without a view. The boy from Bihar was lovely. All personal was friendly. The food was good. Paharganj, the neighbourhood, is an adventure. For a westerner it may be shocking at times.

The name sounds good, but there was really nothing good about this hotel.

On arrival, the hotel was situated in a back street, with what can only be described as construction material in front of the door. When I walked in, staff was walking around with shirts half tucked into trousers, slippers that were clearly taken from a room, and a staff member for whom lifting their feet while walking was an effort! How can I trust you to lift my nags when you can't lift your own feet? My room wasn't ready when I arrived, despite my having told the hotel I would be landing at 5am and need access from 5:30am in my room because I had my 3yr old son with me and lots of luggage... Even our taxi driver said, "This is a rough area, I do not advise you staying here." I ended up going to the Novotel!

Location was central. Receptionist was lovely and helpful.

Breakfast was terrible! Hotel needed a good clean! Not sure how this is rated as a 4 Star.

De kamer was netjes en volledig in lijn met onze verwachtingen. Het personeel is vriendelijk en staat altijd klaar om te helpen zonder opdringerig te zijn. Een aangename plek waar je zowel voor een kort als een langer verblijf zeker goed zit. Aanrader!

- Very clean and modern - Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Especially Sukhdev at reception. Ashok, Daud and everyone else looked after us very well and made sure we had everything we needed, whenever we needed. - The food was incredibly tasty. 100% should order from them. The two chefs were 10/10

- Location, while close to transport and central, felt a bit dirty. But nothing you can’t manage if you know what India is like.

The staff was good. The breakfast was good. They can add some more items like dosa. The toilet was extremely clean which I appreciate the most. They offered us airport shuttle too. Overall a convenient hotel.

The property is good and they have maintained it very well, this is my 4th time visiting it and as always it was an pleasant experience. Do check out the rooftop as well .

Die Nähe zum Flughafen.

Das Zimmer war spartanisch eingerichtet, die Bettlaken voller Flecken. Ohne dass es irgendwo angekündigt war gab es den ganzen Tag Baulärm, der enorm laut war. Auf Nachfrage um 21:45 Uhr hieß es, dass es höchstens noch 30 Minuten dauernd würde. Um 23 wurde immer noch gebohrt, sodass man trotz Ohropax nicht schlafen konnte. Trotz mehrfachen Anmerkens, dass ein Drop of am Flughafen gewünscht ist und dieser um 2 Uhr bereitstehen soll, waren um 2 Uhr alle überrascht und der Fahrer kam 30 Minuten später, sodass wir am Flughafen rennen mussten.

The property interior is good and newly renovated.

The location is the one of the worst, it seems to be safe but it’s in the middle of a market, dirty alley streets, loud people 24/7 with fights, bad smell. People are trying to sell you stuff. Cabs refuse to go inside the alleys to drop or pick you up. The breakfast is very basic, and doesn’t feel clean. I paid 5000 Rupees per night so it felt not worth the money

Reliable hotel and attentive staff. We kept coming back to this hotel in between our internal flights due to the staff and they took care of our luggage very well. Clean comfortable rooms.

Room was not what was stated online, construction work was being done on the hotel which was super noisy. Double and single bed cramped into a room with no space to store suitcase, lasted an hour in this hotel before leaving to book elsewhere

Great location, many food options nearby and food delivery options. The staff had been great, they stored our luggage safely while we took internal flights. They even provided us with a room after check out so we can re-pack our bags after weighing them to ensure they were the correct weight for the internal flights. Staff have been great and attentive Comfortable clean rooms.

It was neat and clean

The location is great if you like being in the action of the Main Bazaar. I liked it very much! The room was good as were all the other facilities. Breakfast good. Well, the coffee is Indian style as we westerns sometimes like different.... But this is India.

The rooms were clean during check in. They also let us check out an hour later to accommodate our flight timings.

Shower temp was hit and miss.

The location was in a very busy and prime street only minutes away (by car/taxi) to the famous Connaught Place (if you like fancy stuff). The area feels a bit crowded but it felt very safe. The adjacent areas are dirty but that's part of the city experience, I guess. However, lots of options for food/shopping nearby (local, nothing fancy). The rooms were very comfortable and the interior was more modern than I expected after seeing the building from the outside, which is quite old. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant to deal with, including the main host at the reception and the servers. The beds were comfortable.

The area is very busy so it was very noisy throughout the night, especially if you have a window. The cleanliness was slightly questionable, as a lot of their linens were tattered or slightly stained. The hot water was sometimes unavailable (central hot water line). The steps at the front are a bit high for elderly folks, could have a ramp or railing.

Behaviour was so nice

Although they allowed us to check in early, the linen was not cleaned at all. Plus the bathroom is also not cleaned .

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as great as the first! The food is delicious, the hotel is very clean, and the location is perfect, right in the heart of Paharganj market and close to everything. The staff are friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we visit!

I recently stayed at Hotel Uptown with my parents, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The staff were very prompt in their service, extremely hospitable, and always ready to help with a smile. A special mention and appreciation to Mr. Chandan Mahra and his wonderful team — Sandeep, Samsad, Arjun, Chandan, and Sukhdev — for their dedication and excellent service. They truly made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was really great. I ordered lunch from room service, which was delicious, and the breakfast was great too.

However, one area that needs improvement is cleanliness. When we checked in, the room was quite dusty, which was disappointing. But it was rectified by the housekeeping staff immediately after I highlighted my concern.I hope the management pays more attention to this aspect, as it would make the overall experience even better.

Nice and spacious rooms. Very Clean. They are cleaning the rooms daily. Reception and Hotel staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Food in The Hotel Restaurant is really delicious and hygienic . You can even get Sim Cards at the reception on request which is great if you just arrived in India and need some internet. The outside Area is a bit chaotic but hey it’s Delhi what do expect. On the other hand the hotel is very close to the Main Road and you can reach the Railway Station fast which is great. Also there are allot of different Shops, Fruit Vendors and Restaurants nearby. All in all I have to stay me and my Family had an amazing time at the Uptown Hotel in New Delhi. The Prices are fair. I would 100% recommend this place.
