The room was very clean, clear, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made me feel at home. Easy to find and the pickup at the airport for 800 rupees was a good deal. They speak English which makes things easier. The room was actually quite ok. There was even AC and hot water in the shower and it was surprisingly quiet at night, so I was able to rest.

They made me change rooms the day after I checked in because apparently they put me in a family room. Tried to exchange money with them but their rates are not good. The sink in the bathroom is coming off the wall. Wifi is very slow in the room. No towel on my second day and the next day they gave me a towel that was damp and smelled bad. I didn’t use it because it was disgusting. Found several hairs on my bed and pillows. They definitely need to improve cleanliness. The free taxi to the train terminal was a nice gesture but I felt pressured to write a positive review in front of them by two staff members: one in the morning after check out and one in the afternoon when I picked up my luggage.

It was the best stay here in delhi, sadaam was really cute and welcoming. He even extended my check out as i was having a delay in timing of my train. Overall for a bagpacker this is the ideal place to stay, as it meets all your requirements. And has good proximity around.

Booked this hostel after seeing the many positive ratings, so I was expecting a little more. Overall, it is a basic, passable property if you don’t have high expectations. I stayed in the dorm, so I can’t comment on the private rooms. The dorm was reasonably clean, the staff were helpful and accommodating, and the bathroom was clean as well. However, proper hand soap wasn’t available. The dorm beds could be sturdier—the movement is quite noticeable even if you simply lift one leg. A couple of bed-side fans were also not working. The AC timing (8 PM to 10:30 AM) felt a little restrictive, especially considering the weather. The property feels somewhat like an older hotel with a few rooms converted into dorms. The terrace was under construction during my stay, so there wasn’t really a usable sitting area there; the available chairs/table also needed some cleaning. The common area is functional but could feel more welcoming. The reception and lobby were probably the most appealing part of the property. Compared with other hostels I’ve stayed at, the overall hostel atmosphere and facilities felt a little underwhelming. I also found the request for a 10-star review at checkout slightly uncomfortable, especially since the high ratings were one of the reasons I chose this property. I paid around ₹800 per night, and at this price I found other hostels offering better facilities and a more enjoyable atmosphere, sometimes for less. Overall, the stay was okay for a basic requirement, but there is definitely room for improvement in the beds, fans, AC timings, terrace, common area, basic amenities and overall hostel experience. Personally, I would choose to explore more and visit personally before booking here again. Also, worth mentioning is, I went during off season, maybe hostel vibes will improve in season timing.

It is a nice place to meet people from different parts of India and around the world. The rooms and common areas were comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the rooftop area, which is a great place to relax after exploring the city. Another thing I appreciated was the value for money. Considering the location, facilities, staff and overall experience, I think this is one of the better budget-friendly options in Paharganj. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at New Hindustan by Backpackers Heaven and would definitely recommend this hostel to other travelers, backpackers, and families. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended!

Rien. A part qu'on a dormi dans un lit. Ce qui est le minimum.

La saleté de la chambre, des draps et de la salle de bain. La climatisation était vétuse limite hors d'usage et très bruyante. La chambre n'avait pas de fenêtre. Il n'y avait aucun service de restauration et pas de rooftop, alors que c'est indiqué dans la présentation de l'hôtel. ET SURTOUT !! La personne qui gère l'agence de voyage est un menteur qui fait du harcèlement pour vendre ces prestations. Attention, il n'est pas fiable.
