Historic Barn Loft - Private & Spacious

Door was open, key left on the side. Liked milk in fridge for a cup of tea etc Loved the history of the barn , photos etc Loved the furniture made by owner from historic wood. Loved tv package Loved location, close to Argos gym Quiet, peaceful, trees in blossom, chickens, cats etc Met Karin, lovely!

Microwave was dirty . Upper shelving also dusty and dirty. Some green mould around the windows.

Great host. Perfectly clean. Character house.

The inside was absolutely lovely, been nice decorated was very surprised when I walked in, very quite and cozy

Could have done with either an electric blanket or a bigger, heavier over blanket as it was a very chilly winter night.

I love everything location, no neighbors it has everything to make your stay comfortable rustic building above garage highly recommend no check in key on the bench just walked in and started my stay

L'antico fienile è spettacolare. Molto affascinante. Comodo da trovare. Il parcheggio presso la struttura ha facilitato l'accesso. Peccato non essere riusciti a rimanere di più.

Well maintained property, it had everything we needed, and owners were polite and helpful

It was literally , next door to the owners, outdoor/indoor dinner table, so when we were leaving /arriving they would most of time be outside eating /talking on the table.. we had to walk past them to get to the front door if unit ..it felt abit awkward lol

We loved our stay at Historic Barn Loft. Both the sofa bed and main bed were very comfy. Bathroom was clean and shower had great pressure. The heat pump provided efficient heating to the main area. The loft itself was well presented, tidy and cosy. TV had Netflix and YouTube available which was handy. Nice and close to the motorway to head into Tauranga City and Mt Maunganui. Supermarket, pharmacy, takeaways and liquor shop all within a 10min walk. Hosts were really lovely, came into check on us and see that we had everything we needed. Also had a visit from their dog and cat...much to my toddlers delight!

We could have done with another smaller heater for the bedroom - we closed the bedroom door at night due to having a noisy toddler who would wake up in the night and in the early hours. This meant the heat from the heat pump (in the main area) couldn't access the bedroom at night. Another thing to think about would possibly be having a blind in the bathroom window (or extended the film on the window) for more privacy.

Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Einrichtung war sehr schön, alles war sehr stilvoll dekoriert.

Lovely & warm - thought might be cold because it’s an older building. Hosts were amazing- giving us tips on places to visit & even letting us use their washer/dryer (many thanks!!). Private parking off the road was another bonus! Quiet - had a lovely night listening to the rain & the chooks in the morning.

No sneaking in this house - boards creak a bit.

Everything! Everything was so cosy and comfy. The towels were heated. The bed was heavenly. The kitchen was well-equipped. When we asked for a cooking scale, it was brought over in minutes. Very lovely place to stay. If in the area again, we would definitely book again and we were very sad that we could only stay here for one night.

Private parking was easy to get in and out of the property. The beds were comfortable. Loved the wooden flooring and access to Netflix on tv. We also loved the privacy it offered. Towel warmer was great. My son (3yr) loved looking out at the chickens, dog and cat from the view of the yard. We will definitely look at staying here again when back in town - location was great. Appreciated the messages by host.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, quaint space, close to the city. Was perfect for a weekend stay for three of us. Good bed and good shower, small but functional kitchen space. Was neat seeing the history of the space and suburb.

A couple things to be addressed. The towel rack gets way too hot, my partner burned her arm on it just by accidentally touching it when getting out of the shower. She still has a bad mark after a few days. And the cleaner came early and was passive aggressively watching us pack up which was unpleasant (the cleaner should not arrive till at least 5 minutes after checkout time and not be rude)

The location is amazing, its really local to the Waikareao Estuary Walkway. Note - its a 10KM walk from the location total to do the complete walk; totally gorgeous!

Drew and his wife were very friendly and it was great value for money.

What an awesome little place! I loved viewing the the history of the barn outlined in pictures on the wall.

Property was clean ,backyard with fruit trees and two beautiful kitties wanted you to pat them all time🥰,overall amazing and good experience .

Loved the animals, hosts were lovely. Wholesome experience for me and my family.

Loved the set up and furniture good space for 2 people and a dog The barn had everything I needed It was refreshing to stay at a place that was truly dog friendly eg fully fenced welcoming and resident dog for company The Loft is in suburban Tauranga but handy to everywhere!! Neighbours and cleaner friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and recommend to friends. Easy parking.

Cannot think of anything except ?possums in 🥑 tree at night but you get used to it!!

Beautifully restored building with everything you need for a comfortable stay

Our 2-night stay was quite comfortable. The loft has its historic charm, and it is mostly surrounded by backyard trees. The host family is very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend it.

This is in a world of it's own. Close to house but hosts are so friendly and once the door is closed you would not know they were there. Overlooks their orchard.

The very quaint loft was very private and a great place for our family to reconnect on our stay. The history of the barn and its original features were great .

The hosts were superbly accommodating and welcoming. The accommodation was very clean and warm and had everything we needed. We would be very happy to stay again.

It was very quiet, close to nature with trees outside the window. There was milk in the refrigerator. :) It was also close to shops, There was also a heat-pump

The only negative thing was that the TV didn't work. There were several remotes but I wasn't sure how to get the TV to turn on. It was also disappointing that we couldn't adjust the length of the stay when our dog became very unwell.

It was very cosy and full of character. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

We loved our stay in this lovingly restored barn. Owners greeted us and were lovely. It was comfortable, warm and had everything we needed. Big bonus being able to bring our wee dog. Would definitely stay again!
