I like the way the beds are laid out, plenty of privacy and area to put your stuff. Delicious banh mi shop located underneath

The bathroom facilities upstairs seemed really good. But the clientele that stayed at the hostel didn't flush the toilets. Unfortunate. I left the place to use facilities elsewhere.

Location was good

The place doesnt look at all like the pictures, you can tell they where taken a long time ago. Its full of things laying around everywhere, garbage bags with sheets and other things inside. its hard to find a place to sit other than your bed. The sheets and pillow where old and the matress had bed bugs. The toilets where dirty always and you can tell they hadnt been properly cleaned in a while. The bathroom lights dont work so sometimes you shower in the dark. Saw a rat on the first floor.

Bed was clean and comfy. Accoms provided clean towel and soap.

AC could be stronger, felt a bit weak. Toilet ventilation not the best.

Its super cheap, so the faccilities and rooms are also like that, its really congested

Bedbugs in my bed, I asked to move beds and there were bedbugs in that one as well, very disappointing I moved to a different hostel in the middle of the night as a result

The cabins in the dorms are nice and the communal bathrooms are fairly clean. This way you can have a lot of privacy!

There were a lot of cockroaches. Days later i even found out that one crawled into my bag. They should do something about this. I wouldn’t go here if you’re scared of them.

Two showers for many women, so may you have to wait. The workers of the Hostel don't seem to care about their guests. Location ist great.

The bedroom style is cute, but unfortunately, we had to check out early due to bed bugs. I woke up to find a lot of them and asked to swap beds, but the new bed also had bed bugs. As a result, I had to stay up all night downstairs. The room had a bad smell, and there was a broken door, meaning only one shower was available, which led to a long queue. Also, the room was so hot. However, the staff gave us a refund, which we appreciated. The hostel room definitely needs improvement in cleanliness.

The location is very nice, this property is located near walking street and has lots of eatries just outside to enjoy local food and drinks. The Banh mi they served is good. One can try Banh mi here. The staff here has smiling faces as the rest of Vietnam. :)

I booked a bed in 6 bed dorm and it was on top floor, which basically means direct sun and the floor was very hot. Although they have the AC but once you are in your bunk bed with curtains closed it is hot again. Also, when I check in to my dorm room, all beds were empty and when I asked for the lower dorm bed I was denied the lower bed. I didn’t know if you can reserve the lower bed in advance, since there was a lower bed that was empty till late evening and this app doesn’t allow the option to choose lower or upper bunk bed. Somehow I feel they were just biased for some reason. I would not recommend this place anyone in HCMC because I feel like this place is just to survive a day in the city. I have been in better hostels in Vietnam. Sharing the pics of empty lower bed till 5 in the evening.

No towels. No electricity in bunk socket. Moronic nosy & noisy travelers who peer through my bunk curtains and keep lights turned on at night : (

Sooo many rats, they where running around the whole night in the room trying to get in to eveyones stuff. 3 dead rats behind the water fountain, dead cocroches lying around. Staff on their phone ignoring you when you want something.

The location is good, nearby everything, the bui Vien street, the bus stops. The hostel was cheap.

First they are a lot of flies in this hostel, many have drink my blood. Every were in my body are bumps, I couldn't sleep well. Second they are rats in this hostel, I bought some food and put them in my locker under the bed. The next day I notice a lot of the food I bought was open and eaten by rats. This 2 reasons I will not book this hostel again. The staff are nice people, they do cleaning, it is not their fault, but I didn't had a good sleep there and I had to buy new food to bring back to my country.

Well, there are rats and you can hear it in the night or by day in the women s toilets.

The water pressure in the showers is insufficient, resulting in a barely flowing water supply, and perhaps some improvements could be made. Additionally, eating inside the rooms should be disallowed.

Nice location, close enough to nightlife that you can walk, but far enough away that it isn’t loud when you are trying to sleep.

Only one shower was working during my stay so wasn’t always easy to shower at the times I wanted to.

I had bed bugs in my bed and then I went down stairs to tell about them and the receptionist lady was super nice and understood I wouldn't want to stay in that bed so she changed me to another room. Anyhow I'm not sure how well they will try to get rid off the bed bugs.... and while I was waiting my new bed a huge rat ran to my feet... but that's because there is no doors so the rats can come inside from the streets.

Beds were dirty, bathrooms were dirty. This was the first place I used my linnen sleeping bag during my 4 months of travelling through SE Asia. It was not comfortable. No common area. Everything looks better on the pictures.

I booked seven days, but moved out on the third day. The accommodation is dirty and has rats. That was the worst experience in the whole of Vietnam. I don't understand why the hostel has so many good reviews. The pictures on booking.com no longer correspond to reality. It could be that the hostel used to look like this or the pictures have been edited. The only thing that is true are the murals in the dormitory. The bathroom is dirty and old. Black mold on the ceiling. The shower full of lime and mold. Bottles from former guests everywhere. Hair and dirt/garbage everywhere on the floor/shower/toilett. Only one sink works (stressful if several people want to wash at the same time). The entire bathroom also serves as a storage room for all sorts of things (laundry, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, empty bottle bags). The door is always open. There are often bags in front of the door. Anyone can come in. There is no ventilation or air conditioning. The window is always open and people seem to smoke there too (ashtray was by the window). It is very hot in the bathroom because the window is open and there is no air conditioning. You leave the shower and you're immediately sweaty again. Mosquitoes everywhere. The dormitory: it is clean. There are 12 beds (if I counted correctly). You should know that. It wasn't clear to me. Fortunately, everyone was quiet. The air conditioning is very good, but also very loud. One of the guests turned the air conditioning off twice. That's not good because then it gets very hot in the room and it stinks. The bed is big and you have two lockers. The large locker at the bottom of the bed had garbage in it (even a tampon. Is it not cleaned?). Some guests smoked on the balcony despite the smoking ban. I am a smoker too. But that is not okay. Go outside. Just like everyone else!!! The dormitory was the only positive thing. The restaurant: what I ate was fine.

It's a 10-15 min walk from the bustling (and often noisy) area. Eateries, laundromats are nearby but u may have to walk to cafes, bars, salons travel agencies and so on. Staff are welcoming and quite helpful. Easy access to most of the attractions in the city. Room and common showers are nice and neat.

Some locks to the lockers are not good, you may not be able to lock at all, which could be a major drawback. The shape of the room is quite narrow, there's little space to open up a big suitcase. Stairs, stairs, stairs...

Awful. Many, many, many rats and cockroaches running upstairs in the rooms and downstairs in the bahn mi restaurant. Rats in the fresh laundry bags, in my trainers in upstairs shoe racks. The rooms are incredibly hot and smell of something awful, not body odour from people it’s something else and it’s always there. Showers cubicles are not clean, bags of cleaning stuff/ laundry in the bathrooms all the time. Multiple people in my room had bites from rat mites or bed bugs or who knows what else. I was told I needed to pay again after already paying. Location is central but not an overall nice street. Would not stay here it’s the same cost as a lot of other better alternatives. Only booked here because I thought the room design looked cute, rats are less cute
