9 Windsor House

I had a Visa appointment and this property was very close to the US Consulate. Our stay was lovely from the moment we were welcomed. We also had to check out quite early (07:30) to be on time for the appointment, and we were able to still have breakfast earlier :) lovely hosts and very secure property.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein kleines Paradies inmitten der schönsten Gegend Kapstadts. Aber Urlaub wäre nicht halb so schön gewesen, ohne die vielen kleinen Insidertipps und die Herzlichkeit von Tracey & Marc. Bei der Ankunft hatte meine Frau nach der langen Reise gesundheitliche Probleme, und ich habe es gewagt, schon vor der vereinbarten Ankunftszeit zu klingeln. Tracey hat ohne Zögern geholfen, das hat uns sehr berührt. Jeden Morgen gab es ein liebevoll zu bereitetes Frühstück, das so reichhaltig war, dass wir vor 1500 keinen Hunger hatten. Die Fahrzeit zur Waterfront 35min, Simons Town 20min, zum nächsten Einkaufszentrum 5 min, es gibt unzählige fantastische Restaurants im nächsten Umfeld, die wir leider nicht alle testen konnten. Und Abends lang einem langen Tag absolute Ruhe & Entspannung am Pool bei einem kühlen Bier. Wir können leider nur 10 Sterne vergeben, diese Unterkunft hätte viel mehr verdient.

The gardens were impeccable, the hosts were incredibly welcoming & knowledgeable, and the serenity astounded. What a lovely haven of tranquillity. Highly recommend.

I had a great night at 9 Windsor House, Tracey and Mark made me feel right at home. The room was big, clean and had air conditioning. I will definitely be returning.

Die Suite und das Doppelzimmer sind Teil eines Privathauses. Tracy und Mark kümmern sich liebevoll, geben local Tipps zum Essen und für Veranstaltungen. Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt weil wir so viel Programm hatten. Eine tolle Oase zum relaxen, prima Lage für alle Richtungen in und um Kapstadt.

Super vriendelijke mensen, mooi verzorgd en netjes onderhouden. Alles wat je nodig had was aanwezig en niets wat je vraagt is te veel. Prima ligging.

The hosts were not only very kind and friendly, they were also extremely helpful and accommodating, especially when our circumstances complicated planning check-in. They had lovely recommendations for things to do in the area, not to mention how very comfortable our room was. Loved it! Absolute value for money!

I can't think of anything! I wish we had better weather so we could have enjoyed the pool! And that we were able to stay a bit longer...

Parking. Had to park outside in the street for one of the 2 nights due to other guests that had booked before us.

Everything! Gorgeous property with the most welcoming, amenable, discreet and charming hosts. Nothing was too much for them and the breakfasts were delicious. All the extra little touches were very much appreciated, such as milk in the fridge, rusks in the jar (thought not after I’d finished with them!) ample crockery, cutlery and glasses, fresh water in a glass dispenser with a filter, shower gel and soap and even a hairdryer. A very comfy bed with lovely linen rounded it off beautifully. The property is situated in a lovely, quiet location yet close enough to reach everywhere by Uber and Bolt (super cheap & always available.)

There was nothing we didn't like. Hosts were friendly and helpful and even though the owners live on the property it was pleasant and the garden was lovely to sit in. All together a very relaxing and pleasant stay. Bonus it was a few minutes walk to the Tokai forest. A great stay

What a beautiful home, and Mark and Tracey are such lovely welcoming hosts. We only had 1 night but would definitely return and stay longer. We had an enormous double room with very comfy bed, tea and coffee aplenty, fresh milk and rusks on tap. Even a large filtered tank of drinking water. The bathroom was spotless, loads of towels and soap. Big walk in shower with lots of hot water, good pressure and a diffuser creating a beautiful aroma. There's a thatched gazebo outside, plenty of seating areas and a sparkling pool - a very relaxing space.

The pool is amazing and the atmosphere very chilled and relaxing! The suite was very comfortable, tastefully decorated with lovely linens and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Mark and Tracey were very friendly and attentive.

Absolutely loved our stay at Windsor House. Tracey and Mark are fabulous hosts, very attentive and accommodating, you will feel "at home" with them. The room was stunning with ample space, the bed was firm and comfortable, we had the perfect sleep. The bathroom was large with a shower, and 'his and hers' basins. The kitchenette and Lounge area is an open plan loft space opening onto a balcony. The pool is beautiful and clean with an entertainment area. It is so peaceful at Windsor House.

We were too busy and didn't get a chance to swim in the pool.

What was there not to like. Everything met our expectations and more. Every need was met with with a smile Folk went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend

Tracey and Mark were there to greet me with a warm welcome. I was given a room upgrade to a suite, which was lovely and very well equipped. They gave me recommendations for a very good taxi service which I used twice. Breakfast was excellent and all in all couldn't have not improved the stay.

Hosts were very accommodating and gracious. Very pleasant environment and facilities. Wonderful airy upstairs space; particularly liked the double volume lounge area.

The location was just perfect for our needs. It was beautiful, quiet, safe & convenient with lovely walking tracks nearby. Lots of restaurants & cafes within a short drive and easy access to the freeway. Mark & Tracey were the perfect hosts, so friendly and helpful - we enjoyed our many conversations with them.

Lovely modern property, owners very friendly.

My guests, an elderly couple, were placed on the street to wait for their transport. The time of check-out was not very clear and informed my guests that they were to be collected at 11am. At 10am they were told the staff have another appointment and need to leave. I have never ever in 40 years of travel been told to wait on a street and vacate a property. This was so embarrassing. We rushed to collect them early enough so that they did not toast in the sun.

Breakfast served inside their house. Awkward.

It was a perfect stay at Marc and Traceys house. We highly recomend to stay there if you want to explorer Capetown and its surroundings. Tracey and Marc are lovely hosts and careing for everything. They have many suggestions where to go an what to see and offer a great breakfast. We defenitivly will come back if we are in the region. Thank you for this amazing stay.

Tracey and Mark are warm and welcoming hosts who take care in making guests comfortable. Spacious double volume architecture home with a stylish open plan layout upstairs. Crystal clear pool. Coffee pods for the Nespresso were magically replenished each day.
