Location excellent for what we had to do. Breakfast had a range of items on offer and was well prepared. Friendly staff.

We could have two towels each. The one used in the evening was still wet/damp the following morning.

We loved everything! From the service to the decor. Very stylish with a home feeling.

If I have to search for something, it might be the fact that the internet was a little spotty. Still managed just fine but notice it lagging a bit. Nothing too serious.

Friendly check-in. Convenient location for visit to consulate.

Noise that sounded like a pump in the bedroom kept us awake all night. TV in room not working.

I wasn’t sure which property to ring the bell at as I checked in late and my map app directed me to the wrong house also numbered 2 Lismore. I did call and got help quite easily.

Waiting 15 minutes for someone to let me in on my arrival, despite my informing of arrival time. Nobody at reception. No apology from management. No information about parking possibilities if I returned late evening and found parking area full. Shower cubicle needs a door. Water ends up on floor, despite efforts to avoid this.

The staff at breakfast were not very professional as there were many guests there and I had my breakfast way before my husband in which she got his order incorrect! So that was a let down sadly 😔

The staff are very friendly and always very helpful. Location is perfect, central to all shops and main attractions. I always enjoy my stay at Lismore. The host is always accommodating to my needs. Thank you, Sarnia, and team.

There's absolutely nothing not to like about this property.

Wat een heerlijk plekje! Het is dichtbij allerlei mooie plekjes, dus de locatie is zeer goed. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en helpt snel als je iets vraagt. Fijne airco erbij en en lekker zwembad. De auto kan op het terrein geparkeerd worden, ook dat is erg fijn.

We were blessed to have our stay upgraded and enjoyed the big size bed. Can't express my gratitude enough for this gesture. Staff is super friendly, the location is perfect for a weekend getaway. Accessible via Uber so it was very convenient for us.

Both pools need better maintenance and cleaning. Maybe revising the curtains to block sunlight since the room got super bright at dawn. (including the bathroom section) We were unlucky to stumble upon a loud couple next door on our last night but it's not the staff's fault by any means. For this I can suggest revising the walls/isolation which appear to be too thin since you can hear all the conversations between the Magnolia Suite and the Aura room.

We booked two bedrooms. They were beautifully decorated and beds were so comfy for a good nights sleep. We were lucky to have the whole of the upstairs to ourselves as no one had booked the other rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the dining room also beautifully decorated.

The light in the bathrooms were a bit dim.

I'd definitely book at this place again. It's clean, peaceful, safe. The breakfast was nice, staff were amazing. My daughter enjoyed the swing. We had fun

The fresh fruit was presented very well, and wrapped in plastic cling wrap, and there was a good choice of yoghurts. The cooked breakfast was tastefully done, and cooked freshly on the spot.

There could be some nuts or seeds to add to the fruit.

We had a really great stay and the staff/owners have been so helpful, supporting us with our rather special itinerary/schedule.

Location is perfect, very quiet and safe and central to all surrounding areas in Cape Town. I love the peace and quietness.

The room was actually too light at night to sleep well. There was no way to make it darker, the curtains were too pale and light could come through the door. Likely this only applies to a couple of yhe rooms, but it did apply to mine.

Disappointed in the coffee station in the room was not refilled daily - in fact for the last morning we didnt have any coffee. It is not clear whether the coffee is part of the deal or whether we have to provide our own coffee or tea. I think that this should be clarified when booking so a guest can come prepared =. Breakfast wasnt that great - the kitchen kept on running out of items - the last day there was no fruit whatsoever. If they dont serve it just dont put it on the menu. There doesnt seem to be any oversight by senior management. We have stayed at this property several times and this time it was a disappointment

The property was extremely clean and stunning. The photos really dont do this place justice. The staff welcomed you with a smile. The room was amazing with a really comfortable bed and linen. The breakfast was delish too. Perfect stay for those on business and if you plan to go as a family its perfect too.

I booked a Deluxe King Room based on the photos and description on Booking.com, which showed a modern, luxurious room. However, I was given a standard, outdated room that looked nothing like the one I booked — it was basic, old room and old furniture and clearly not what I paid for. The receptionist was rude during check-in. She quickly showed me to the room, said she would return with information and the WiFi password, but never came back. I had to walk around the hotel looking for her, only to find her laughing and chatting with her colleagues in another room. Completely unprofessional. I also sent a message to the hotel to complain and ask to change rooms, but they ignored me and never replied. This hotel is misleading and lacks basic customer service. Don’t be fooled by the photos — you may not get what you booked, and no one will care to help you. I don’t recommend staying here.

The staff went above and beyond to help make my stay comfortable. Even when some things I requested for were not part of their duty, they still joyfully got it done for me. Special shout out to Talisa. She especially did everything possible to make my stay comfortable, and help me get my passport back. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Cape Town. Kudos!

Overall it was a wonderful stay, the customer service was good. Loved their omelet. The rooms are lovely and the view of the mountain from the balcony is nice to see especially at sunset.

I arrived at the property and there was no one to receive me. When I attempted to check in, they had no record of my booking, despite having previously confirmed it via messages. The air-conditioning was extremely noisy, and the porch light was not functioning. I requested an invoice three weeks ago; they assured me it would be sent the same day, but I have yet to receive it. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Not specific when choosing rooms.I booked the queen deluxe suit.assuming it was next to each other but the one room was far away from the other.One was Daisy and the other was lavender maybe to mention which specific house you will be staying in.

Making the reservation was a challenge. E-mail was not read through twice . I requested the one room to have twin beds on booking . Com. Called to check if possible and was confirmed that one room would have twin beds - also emailed and this was confirmed. This was not done and my brother was told that I did not inform anyone when I made the booking - which I did - 3 times and I have proof. . One rooms door doesn’t close properly and the rooms were not serviced on the 2nd day of the stay. I

Everyone was very friendly. The apartment was also very spacious. And very fast WiFi which was great as I needed it to work.

The check could have been smoother as they couldn’t find my key and the remote on my key didn’t work for the gate. The bed is a bit dated, could do with a new mattress. But the stay overall was good these are really minor things.

Not much, it is a stringe of residential houses converted into a guesthouse. It is all very cheaply finished and it lacks good taste.

We could hear our next door neighbours conversation word by word due to the lack of noise insulation between rooms. We skipped the breakfast as it was poorly offered (instant coffee only..) and we had to share a table with other guests.

The place is beautiful and very comfortable and inviting.

Only had flavored filter coffee! Smelt like caramel. So we had instant coffee. And would have preferred plain thicker yoghurt - only had sweetened runny yoghurts. But lovely omelets and English breakfasts and fruit and crumpets!! Staff were very good.
