Lake Lower Hotel & Yala Safari

Останавливались в Тиссе именно для сафари. Хозяин все прекрасно организовал. Номер был без кондиционера, о чем нас предупредили заранее и порекомендовали выбрать с АС. Но по опыту побережья мы решили, что вентилятора нам хватит. Не хватило, было очень душно. Новый или отремонтированный отель, все чисто, выход на балкон и террасу. Шаговая доступность до магазинов. Предложили кофе перед сафари. Хозяин очень любезный, помог с утра перед сафари. У меня разболелся живот, и мне нужен был регидрон. Принес воду и нашел единственный пакетик похожего ланкийского лекарства. Возможно, благодаря ему, я провела сафари без проблем. Есть реклама трансфера, которой мы и воспользовались. И отлично доехали в следующий пункт.

Todo nos encantó, nuestro hotel favorito de toda la isla. El dueño es encantador, está súper pendiente de cada detalle. Hicimos un safari que nos recomendó y fue espectacular. El hotel es precioso, tiene un jardín lleno de árboles y flores súper cuidado. Además, dispone de un par de bicicletas que pudimos usar para dar una vuelta por un lago cercano al hotel que es de lo más bonito que hemos visto. La habitación es amplia, nueva y súper limpia. El desayuno es increíble, no le falta detalle. El hotel tiene una ubicación buenísima, está cerca de una calle principal llena de restaurantes y comercio. Lo único que tenemos son palabras buenas para este alojamiento y su dueño!

El sitio está ubicado en un espacio muy bonito. El recinto está muy limpio y el casero es muy atento y amable. Lo recomendamos 100%.

Sehr freundlicher Host, der uns jedes Mal mit einem großem Lächeln empfangen hat. Er hat uns Tipps gegeben, was wir neben der Safari noch erleben können und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder ✨

De ontvangst was hartelijk met een welkomstdrankje. De vriendelijke gastheer is zeer beleefd, respectvol en behulpzaam. De locatie is rustig gelegen. De ruime kamers zijn brandschoon, zo ook de douche en de algemene ruimte. Het bed is comfortabel.  Hier ben je van harte welkom, ook wanneer je geen safari boekt. De wensen van de gast staan centraal. Op verzoek is er heet water verkrijgbaar. Hartelijk dank voor het fijne verblijf!

Quiet and calm place surrounded by trees.

No tenía aire acondicionado, quizás está un poco alejado de yala del safari, y la zona de alrededor no tiene mucho que visitar, algún lago y templo

The host is an amazing and friendly man who even helped us carry our luggage to the room. He was very accommodating and helpful. The entire property, but the rooms specifically, are immaculate. Spotless, everything is new and very well looked after. Cannot say enough good things about our stay, I just wish it was longer !

Nothing at all!

This hotel is not luxurious, but it is very clean and cozy. What truly touched me was the kindness of the host. While I was on a safari tour, I injured my hand, and the host gave me an ice pack, wrapped it with a bandage, and even accompanied me to the hospital. Because of this experience, I will definitely stay here again when I visit Tissamaharama in the future. If you’re considering staying at this hotel, please be aware that there is no air conditioning, refrigerator, or amenities provided. Still, for me, it was more than enough — a truly good place to stay.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable in lovely surroundings. Close to bus stops, shops and restaurants. The owner of the hotel is a friendly a kind person. He made sure I knew about walking around the lake, he can help with booking the safari tour. He even made sure I got on the correct bus to Ella by walking me to the correct bus stop and waiting with me. He also checked that I arrived safely at my destination. Would highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is quite newly finished and everything is very comfortable and to a high standard. It is calm and spacious and kept immaculately clean. It’s situated in a peaceful location next to a beautiful lake though still only 700 m from the centre. The breakfasts were very generous and delicious.

Such a friendly and attentive host. He made us tea at 4.45am before our safari and made us a snack for when we arrived back. Big, clean, simple rooms. Off road parking behind a locked gate.

The location is not close to restaurants, but it's fine if you have transport.

Amazing place to stay from Tissa, it’s a new building so everything is clean. Room very luxury with great bathroom. The owner are really kind and helpful so I’d definitely recommend. Thank you very much.

Slightly out of town so not much option for food/corner shop. 15/20min walk otherwise.

This was the perfect place to start our trip to YALA safari. Been traveling all over srilanka as a native srilankan.. this is the cleanest place I've been to!. There's absolutely nothing to worry about. The host with a good heart and very helpful in every situations.

The property is brand new and spotlessly clean, nestled in a picturesque neighborhood by two serene lakes—an ideal place to unwind. However, what truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible host. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience, personally organizing bicycles for us and taking us on a guided tour around the lakes and town. His passion for the area and warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome, turning our trip into an unforgettable adventure.

Very nice and clean room, owner is very friendly. they arranged for us best safari tour in Yala. We saw lot of animals and we really enjoyed here.very closed to lake and evening time you can see lot of birds and very relax place.
