I did not like the bed it is made of blocks no base only mattress that was so uncomfortable. The fact that electricity went off for hours with out any back up wasting our food.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Had everything necessary for an overnight stay with the family. Rooms and bathrooms were spotless and free of clutter. Great use of space. Ample parking, secure premises, neat, tidy, comfortable beds, great linen and towels. Smooth check-in and checkout.
Honestly, nothing not to like. Been to many "stop over" places and this is about as perfect as I've experienced. Not only was it convenient, the entire family enjoyed their stay

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026The place was spotless and very clean . They provided dishes ,microwave ,fridge and ample tea coffee sugar and creamer. Shower had lovely hot water although it did take time to heat up, truly appreciated that. Thank you for ensuring we had enough towels
There was no sink to wash dishes to reuse them. Had to use the bathroom basin to collect water to wash utensils. No dish rack or dish cloth It was very cold Mattresses were placed on cement blocks as base so that added to the bed being very cold . The aircon on heat function just dried up the air making our throats sore. Electric blanket would have been a blessing or even a heater would help. Bathroom didn't have any shower gel or shampoo only had hand soap on wash basin

There was nothing not to like...perhaps just a little request...the shower inside should have a grab rail especially for guests over 60....there should also be another grab rail on the wall for older guests as you step out of the shower as s precaution to loosing balance and ultimately falling....

There was literally nothing I didnt like or that we can complain about, we will definitely be returning.

the fact that there were enough beds available in two rooms for our part of a family of 9. We paid for three rooms while two would have been sufficient . ALSO following this booking I was advised I would receive a discount on my next booking but paid full price again. I booked Sunset chalets for family group of 10 for Sunday 25th January. How does one secure the discounts available ? (I lost out on R280.00).
