The view was spectacular--probably the best in those parts. Owner really helpful

Lounge furniture and carpets not clean. there is a robot on the main rd outside which is ok later at night but very noisy during the day, The railway runs directly in front of the balcony and 13 trains daily pass to & fro daily. Towels need replacing.

The host was easy to communicate with and available - location is excellent for sea views, ideal for seeing the whales which we did on the first day! Beautiful sunrises & sunsets. Comfy apartment.

The location was fantastic

The view was stunning , the closeness to the beach was great , easy walk to the beach and town centre. Secure parking and easy walk to Kalk bay. Short drive from the shopping malls.It was a safe and friendly place to stay.

Everything about the place was just amazing, the views, the facilities, the old feel of the interior was spot on

The location is absolutely unbeatable. Waves lull you to sleep and wake you up gently in the mornings. Caron and her team were so hospitable and I was impressed by how well equipped the apartment is.

Loved everything - the location is superb as the sea is right there - perfect sand and beach! Place is central to all the Cape spots! Apartment is lovely and spacious with a wonderfully large perfect balcony. There is a train line passing through the close towns nearby, which is covenient! The owner Caron is absolutely awesome and extremely thoughtful in providing comforts to make it a real home from home! Caron - I love your soul and care you share! Thank you for a wonderful stay - will definitely recommend and be back!!! 🙌🫶💞✨️

Die Lage des Apartments ist großartig und der Ausblick unbeschreiblich. Caron und Larry sind tolle Vermieter, die einem jeden Wunsch erfüllen. Weil mir der kleine vorhandene Holzkohlegrill nicht gefiel haben sie gleich am ersten Tag extra für uns einen Gasgrill angeschafft.

On the Sea is spacious, spotless, and wonderfully comfortable, with stunning sea and mountain views. The apartment feels like a true home-away-from-home, with thoughtful extras that make your stay even more enjoyable. From the moment I stepped inside, the gentle sound of the waves and the serene atmosphere wrapped around me, melting away stress and lifting my spirit. By the time I left, I felt lighter, happier, and completely renewed. Just a short walk to the beach yet peaceful and quiet. Caron is an attentive, responsive host who genuinely cares about her guests. I’ll happily return!

Everything. The little sweet touches, choccies on the bed, biscuits and great coffee pods. Coffee lovers, we had all of it! Hot water bottles in case of cold. Didn't need it though. Those blankets were fluffy and warm enough. The place was a perfect getaway. The view is stunning. Opened the patio at 4am to the sound of the waves and kept it open. Place was spotless and I enjoyed the touches to bathroom too. This place was just perfect. We had a braai in the little weber on the balcony. Perfect size for our needs. Thanks to friendly hosts who welcomed us on arrival and whom we were able to communicate with throughout. I really enjoyed this Caron and hope to be back soon.

The accomodation was exactly as the photos shown on site & our hostess was great. It was like home from home & the incredible views of the sea were just what we hoped for.

I loved the little details that the owner put into our stay. She equipped the place with everything we needed. The view of the ocean from the bedroom was spectacular. The place was clean and cozy.

We stayed at the ''On the Sea'' for 2 nights, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The location was amazing, the apartment is fully furnished and it feels like home; there is a beautiful view on the False Bay from the main bedroom and from the dinning room. The apartment has a very secure parking. We had great communication with the owners, who were very responsive and flexible with check-in time, as well as suggested restaurants in the area.

Everything was perfect besides the WiFi, which was good but not very stable. However, this was just a minor issue

Lovely cozy home with more than enough space for our family of 5. My favourite part has to be the view, absolutely stunning location!!

The apartment is right by the sea, amazing views of the ocean and mountains. The kids were very warm and they did not want to go back home. I'm definitely going back here when i'm in Cape Town again. We had an exceptional welcome and the hosts are amazing people. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
