L’hotel est très joli. Le personnel est sympathique et aidant pour toutes les démarches (taxis, tour guidé,...)

Notre séjour a malheureusement été décevant, notamment en raison du manque d’insonorisation de l’établissement. Il y avait énormément de bruit, rendant les nuits particulièrement difficiles. Nous entendions les motos,les coqs, les voisins, ainsi que le personnel qui commençait à préparer le petit déjeuner dès 6h30. Même la climatisation de ma chambre était très bruyante. À cela s’ajoute un matelas beaucoup trop mou. Je repars fatiguée de ce séjour. Le petit déjeuner est également très minimaliste : quelques tartines, des fruits, des œufs durs, ... Cela nous a semblé vraiment insuffisant pour un établissement 4 étoiles, d’autant plus qu’il n’y a que deux tables disponibles. Enfin, dès le premier jour, après le ménage, ma fille a trouvé une touffe de cheveux noirs qui ne lui appartenaient pas dans la salle de bain. Cela ne devrait pas se produire

The room was beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The pool was really nice and calm.

It wasn’t a very quiet hotel. You could hear your neighbors talking and closing doors. It’s right next to a club that has loud music until 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The breakfast was underwhelming with no substantial protein options.

La posizione è sicuramente uno dei plus: l’hotel si trova alla Punta Zicatela, in una zona molto piacevole, vicina a ristoranti, negozi e a tutto ciò che serve per vivere la zona comodamente. La struttura è molto bella, e la piscina sul rooftop è davvero splendida: un ottimo spazio per rilassarsi e godersi l’atmosfera di Puerto Escondido. Menzione speciale per il bartender Diego: cocktail ottimi e piacevoli chiacchierate. Un vero punto di forza del Mantra.

Il letto è uno dei più scomodi in cui abbia mai dormito: molto molle, così come il cuscino, oltre i limiti del ragionevole. Inoltre, il condizionatore, indispensabile visto il caldo, era rumoroso. Le due cose, sommate, hanno reso difficile dormire bene per le 6 notti del soggiorno. Inoltre, abbiamo trovato due scarafaggi in bagno nell’arco di una notte. Pur comprendendo che siamo in un ambiente tropicale e che aveva piovuto, è qualcosa che, per una struttura 4 stelle, non ci saremmo aspettati. La cosa è stata comunque risolta in breve tempo. Infine, un aspetto che ho trovato poco professionale riguarda il pagamento degli extra al termine del soggiorno. Ci è stata semplicemente comunicata una cifra complessiva, senza una ricevuta o un riepilogo itemizzato delle singole voci che ci permettesse di verificarne la correttezza. L’importo richiesto era plausibile e quindi non abbiamo insistito, ma alla nostra richiesta di avere il dettaglio delle singole voci siamo ignorati, anche a causa delle difficoltà di comunicazione in inglese. Un ulteriore punto a sfavore, considerando il posizionamento della struttura: ci aspetteremmo che almeno alla reception fosse possibile comunicare agevolmente in inglese, mentre con alcune persone è stato praticamente impossibile.

Excelente ubicación e instalaciones. Las bebidas del bar son muy ricas. La alberca está limpia y agradable. Hay clases de yoga gratis por la mañana, por lo que está padre empezar tu día con eso mientras sale el sol. El hotel también está ubicado a 5 min de una calle muy popular y con muchos restaurantes, y además a otros 5 minutos de la playa.

Son cosas menores, pero las toallas para playa o alberca ya están algo percudidas. La toalla de manos del hotel es muy pequeña (es una toalla facial) y los cubre colchones tienen algunas manchas. Pero fuera de esa la limpieza del hotel y los cuartos es muy buena.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Mantra Boutique! The hotel has a warm and relaxing atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and a very friendly staff who were always happy to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The location is excellent, close to both the beach and great restaurants. We especially appreciated that the hotel provided a secure place to store our luggage and allowed us to continue using the facilities after check-out, which made our departure day much more comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay! 😊

Location

The matress in this hotel is terribly soft and we both woke up with back pain the next day. It makes you sink deeply into the bed and feels like you cannot rest. We asked the hotel for assistance but they simply took down the topper late in the evening with the matress being equally soft. There was no other option but for us to change the hotel as soon as we could the next day. Unfortunately, the accomodation staff was very non-cooperative and non-understanding and we had to handle everything with Booking to obtain a partial refund for the nights we were unable to spend there.

The rooftop pool was excellent. We really enjoyed the free breakfast and coffee. They have the best “croissants” this side of Paris, only available Wednesday through Saturday. Our shower was the best , abundant hot water and plenty of water pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There is a bar/music venue next door with live music Wednesday and Saturday nights, which can be a bit loud. I really did enjoy the band otherwise would have been more annoying. I believe they quit playing around 11.

Amazing hotel - room was so comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Bed was genuinely the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in! Staff were so friendly and helpful. Great location - right by La Punta beach and a 15 min drive to other beaches. Definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

El diseño junto con el personal y la limpieza , es un gran lugar !

Que los lunes no hay pan dulce para el cafecito ,

La ubicación espectacular, la habitación muy cómoda y completa y las instalaciones en general

Solamente que el área para desayunar es muy pequeña , solamente son dos mesas y aparte los dos jóvenes que atienden el desayuno no son muy amables

La habitación es súper espaciosa, limpia y con clima. La alberca en la azotea 10/10.

buen dia, todo esta mega bien solo les ayudaria si cambian ya los colchones estan sumamente flojos, no descansa uno agusto.

The don’t have a place on the beach with chairs or umbrellas.

We loved the modern and clean facilities, nice aroma, chill vibes, friendly staff, the pool area, the location, included breakfast. We are a couple in our mid 40s, first time in Puerto Escondido, this place was exactly what we wanted, after researching the neighbourhoods etc. it was in the perfect spot for a mix of relaxing and fun.

We were in room 301 right by the pool/bar. It can be a little loud with the music but the staff was very accommodating and we didn't mind the trade off with the proximity of the pool.

El hotel esta muy bonito, limpio, y sus habitaciones muy acojedoras con una cama super comoda.

Solo que haya mas variedad en el desayuno, que pongan pañuelos kleneeex, crema humectante. Y las bebidas que dejan en el frigobar son de cobro. Siempre que me he quedado en hoteles nos deja esas bebidas sin costo.

Puerto escondido is a party town. If you’re there Saturday night expect some noise, but it all goes quiet at 11am.

El desayuno tranquilo, variado, buena fruta, cereales, tostadas, cafe rico, jugo, yogurt. Desayunas en la terraza con vista al mar, espectacular. La ubicación al toque de la playa y del centrito de zicatela.

El menu del bar. Habian pizzas en la carta, de las cualas nunca estuvieron disponibles. Nos dieron la opcion de burritos, pero no es lo mismo. El tema es que estan tercierizadas, no hay cocina, por lo que de un dia para el otro les bajaron el contrato y se quedaron sin pizza, y es lo unico que teninan en la carta.

Las instalaciones eran estupendas; la ubicación es perfecta, cerca de la playa, junto a varias escuelas de surf y la punta. El personal fue súper amable (gracias a Diego, Mia, Luca, Silvestre, las recepcionistas y el personal de limpieza) :)

Great location, clean, spacious rooms. Rooftop pool and terrace is amazing - great to relax, watch the sunset etc. The breakfast is simple but really delicious. Really nice bathroom with amazing water pressure in the shower! Super Friendly and accommodating staff. They helped with advice, birthday decorations, taxi orders etc. I recommend renting an atv to go to different beaches.

Great drinks! Bartender get 10/10. And straff in breakfast was also great. We did enjoy this hotel very much. The breakfast was not big but perfekt for us. If you expect eggs and beans you will be disapointed. For us, breakfast was perfect.

Porto Escondido is a party town, very loud and noisy. The hotel is located near beach clubs and you can hear a lot of noise coming from the beach. Not the property’s fault - bring ear plugs.

The club next door that blasts music until 11 at night. And the waterfalls in the pool that make a lot of noise it’s almost difficult to hear when they are on.

We loved everything about this place. Staff are so nice, kind, welcoming and always with a big smile (both at bar and reception, Sofia, Alex, Maxi, Capucine, Diego and Luca). The view is insane and we had jacuzzi in our room. We could not ask for more!

Das Zimmer war etwas klein und im Parterre. Der eine junge Mitarbeiter (Abendschicht) von der Reception war sehr unfreundlich und total nicht motiviert. Der Rest vom Team zum Glück nett und hilfsbereit.

La atención del personal. La alberca en el 3er piso. La decoración de la habitación, y la vista al jardín interior desde la habitación.

El wifi nunca funcionó. El camino para llegar al hotel no está pavimentado y se inunda con la lluvia. Batallamos para salir del hotel por lo mismo, así como para transportar la maleta.

Very cute boutique hotel with fantastic staff always greeting with a smile and happy to help (book taxis, recommend dinner etc). We loved the pool and Diego was an awesome barman. Mini room is a little on the smaller side but it's clever designed to maximise space and appropriate curtains to give privacy from the street. The location is fantastic, a short walk to the hustle & bustle of the main street, and to the beach. Would stay again!

There are no on-site cooking facilities so breakfast is basic (fruit, cereal and pastry).
