Si pudiera le pondría un 100 pero el máximo de puntuación que permite Booking es un 10. Es el sitio MÁS LIMPIO que hemos visto en toda Sri Lanka, la habitación era perfecta, la cama grande y muy cómoda, con cortinas para los mosquitos , aire acondicionado y ventilador. Las sábanas estaban hasta planchadas y el WC estaba limpisimo.. Además, Ajith era un amor de señor, estuvo pendiente de nosotros en todo momento ofreciéndonos té y todo lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Por la mañana nos preparó un super desayuno de cosas típicas de allí que estaba espectacular y nos enseñó las plantas de su jardín (curry, jengibre, pimienta, etc) y nos explicó todo sobre ellas. Además está justo en frente de la playa.

The location was very convenient, and the place was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I particularly appreciated the warm hospitality of the owner and the excellent service provided. Although my stay was only for a brief period during the day, everything was handled smoothly and made the experience pleasant and relaxing.

The host vas fantastic. Always attentive. I couldn’t sit without him offering me a coffee. The breakfast he provided was amazing as well. And plentiful as well. Some days I had to say “no more”

A quiet place not far from the town centre and a short Tuctuc ride to many tourists spots.

We had a wonderful stay and would especially like to thank the uncle who looked after us. His hospitality, kindness, and warm welcome made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. He was always helpful, friendly, and genuinely cared about our comfort. His positive attitude and excellent service made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommended, and we would love to visit again!

Ein Dankeschön an den netten und hilfreichen Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und gut empfangen gefühlt. Das Frühstück war perfekt. Die Unterkunft war mit Abstand die sauberste, die wir auf unserer Rundreise erlebt haben. Vielleicht die einzige Verbesserungsmöglichkeit: eine permanente Sitzgelegenheit im Außenbeleuchtung...Aber der Besitzer hat uns sofort mit Tisch und Sesseln versorgt. Die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Haustür. Wir können den Gastgeber Guten Herzens empfehlen

We had a great stay at The Tide’s Tale. Ajith was very welcoming, kind, helpful and interesting to talk to. Our room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and excellent WiFi. Our breakfast, cooked by Ajith, was delicious! The location is good- we easily walked to Galle from the property but buses and tuk tuks are available just outside the gate.

喜欢这位面相和善的老爷爷房东，房间和卫生间都超级超级干净清爽，卫浴设施都是新的！在斯里兰卡好几天了，这是第一家提供吹风机的！还有老爷爷亲手制作丰盛可口的早餐，热情洋溢的老头儿哈哈哈！很喜欢这家民宿，希望更多的中国朋友可以光顾这里啊，性价比很高！马路对面就是海滩呢，可惜大早上喊不醒小孩可以去海边玩一玩就走了。晚上打车回来没有零钱找零，老爷爷刚好不在家，回来之后像家人一样叮嘱我打车之前一定要准备好零钱，很暖心，并且入住的时候会介绍周边配套设施和海滩收费。

Хозяин дома был дружелюбным, предложил напиток по приезде, Подсказал на чем, как выгоднее и во сколько добраться до Коломбо. Предложил маску для снорклинга и посоветовал, где лучше всего наблюдать морских животных. Завтрак классический, в английском стиле, но при этому вкусный и сытый, а также приготовлен к тому времени, к которому нужно.

We had a great experience staying here for 3 days 2 nights. The host was very friendly and helpful telling us where to go and how to get around. The breakfast was great, they accommodated with our requests and diets and the food was delicious. Place was maintained and kept really clean. Loved how tidy and clean the bathrooms and the room! Bardzo fajne miejsce. Czysty i komfortowy pokój z łazienką, przemiły właściciel, który przyrządził nam pyszne i bogate śniadanie :) 10 metrów od plaży , wystarczy przejść ulice , ok 200 m do najbliższego sklepu. Polecamy serdecznie!

Eigenaar is een zeer vriendelijke man. Welkom geheten met een drankje. Vanuit de accommodatie is het een paar minuten rijden naar het fort. De kamer is erg schoon, met name de mooie en schone badkamer waren we erg positief over. Hele goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Ook het ontbijt was erg goed en uitgebreid!

La struttura è gestita da una coppia di signori adorabili. Gentilissimi, mi hanno accolto e preparato la colazione al mattino al momento con omelette e frutta fresca. Hanno anche un giardino molto carino. La camera semplice ma pulita e con tutto, il bagno è nuovo. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

Uncle Ajitj is really a amazing person, made me feel so welcome and taken care of..and as a female solo traveler this truly is appreciated. He helped me organise the commute to my next destination, made me the most amazing breakfast with fresh fruit from his garden and gave me a lot of information and tips about Sri Lanka that I still carry with me. The room was spotless in every aspect, super clean, comfortable, new and fresh. This truly added up to the blissful feeling of arriving in a safe and welcoming place.

If you're a light sleeper like me, the noise from the street might be a bit disturbing. It's definitely not unbearable and you're likely to experience that in many other places in Sri Lanka too.

Ajith was a very kind and gracious host. He really looked after us and always gave ussome useful tips regarding transport. His breakfast was legendary with a wild array of choices. Overall highly recommend this place as it was cosy clean and close to the beach.

El desayuno estaba increíble, hasta ahora el mejor que hemos probado en Sri Lanka. Casi no pudimos acabarle. El dueño es super agradable y nos dio mil tips del país y de todo lo que le preguntamos. Incluso nos saco una especie de chirimoyas que era su fruta preferida, cuando le preguntamos. Nos recomendó un restaurante para cenar, que era súper local y nos salió a 2€ por persona. Todo lo mejor para ajith y su familia.

Lovely host who helps with everything, makes great breakfast and gave us lots of good tips. The location is a bit outside the main area of Galle but by tuk tuk it’s a 5 minute drive and costs only around 300 rupees. The room was the most clean we have seen in 3 weeks Sri Lanka and perfectly fine.

The overall experience was very good. The property was maintained by one single person and he was very active and hard working person. Moreover, his behavior and hospitality was amazing. Very close to a beach and city center.

The property is situated at a great location, close to the Galle fort. It has a beautiful garden and the room is super clear. Mr Ajith's hospitality is exceptional. He went out of his way to make my stay as comfortable as possible and answered all my quieries patiently. The wifi works well as well.

This is hospitality akin to a five star resort. We booked last minute due to our original accommodations having been flooded due to heavy rains. Mr. Ajith waited up for us late at night, welcomed us into his home so we can have a late dinner, and brought us lemon juice straight from his lemon tree. He prepared a delicious multi-course breakfast, helped us with our bags, and communicated with our tuk tuk driver so they knew where we were going. We really felt so special being a guest at the Tide’s Tale and wished we could have stayed longer. The room is simple, but exceptionally clean. Plus the bed was extremely comfortable. Perhaps a little noisy in the morning due to construction across the road, but it didn’t bother us much at all.

Everything! The facilities are outstanding, clean, confortable and great view to relax. Mr. Ajith a friendly and welcoming host, including the lemonade so open to share about his country and answer any questions. The food was delicious with a great combination of tradicional flavours and fresh fruits. The location is so convenient, easy to reach with a Tuk- Tuk and Pickme app, recommended for him to avoid overcharging cost.

We loved everything, it is very comfortable, clean, no mosquitoes and amazing value for money. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, the best ever after 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. Nonetheless this is the only place we have been where wifi worked perfectly and non stop. We didn’t want to leave we had truly an amazing time and the host and his wife are extremely kind and helpful.

My friend and I stayed here for one night and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Ajith, our host, was unbelievably helpful and kind. We had just made a shady experience with a tuk tuk driver and Ajith helped us get out of the situation and organised a new transport for us. He made us feel so safe and his breakfasts are phenomenal. The bedroom is clean, has AC, hot water - literally anything you need.

I hardly ever write reviews, but staying with this family has been so very lovely! If you want to experience the true kindness of the people in Sri Lanka, you should absolutely spend a night or two here, as it’s very conveniently located to Galle. Everything is perfectly clean and very modern. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and to provide me with local suggestions! Seriously, I had an amazing time!

The host is a very friendly and knowledgeable person, he has spent years driving tourists around so has good knowledge of what to do and what not to do, while being completely honest and not pushing anything on to you - which is very unique here. We attended a wedding at Jetwing Lighthouse and were looking for nearby accommodation to stay with my wife and baby. We found this property, which had good ratings. It’s the front room of a house, with a very clean room and bathroom. Considering the price, it offers great value for money. It felt like home, and they treated us very well, even accommodating my baby.

Location is unbeatable and 1 minute walk to sea. Break fast provided was very delicious. Buses will stop in front of the property. Front yard has some greenery with sitting area for having evening chit chat.

He is kind, always smiling, always willing to help and give recommendations on what to visit in the area and makes the most amazing breakfast in front of you with fresh food, fruits and drinks, different everyday! Mr Ajith was super helpful since the beginning with all my queries and even greeted me with fresh coconut water. The breakfast was more than enough, delicious and typical Sri Lanka style. Location was also great, just a small taxi drive from the center (around 5 minutes). The room with AC was very comfortable and clean. This is a perfect place to stay if you are travelling to Galle, Sri Lanka :) thanks again to Mr. Ajith for making me feel welcome and safe!

I wish I could have stayed longer.

One of our best stay in Sri Lanka, is like to stay in some family home, the host is absolutely nice, best breakfast so far in Sri Lanka. Maybe is a bit far from the town, but actually you get there super easy. We could enjoy the beach in front because of the season, but sure is a nice stay for the summer.

To close to the street, so from early morning you can hear cars and public transport around.

Literally the most beautiful, clean, comfortable room in Sri Lanka! The room was fully renovated and well decorated. Ajith was one of the most amazing hosts, he welcomed us with a coconut drink and was really helpful and knowledgeable with the area. He prepared us a delicious breakfast with almost everything! It was also really nice talking with him about history and politics. It was an amazing stay!

I like every thing about this hotel..! It is budget friendly and exceeded my expectations..! So lovely..! We visited Galle for after very long time. I'm so glad that we book this place for two nights on BB basis. Mr.Ajith, we called him uncle Ajith the property owner. He was super nice and very hospitable. I can rate his service 1000%. He is very caring for guests and we never expect warm welcome saying "Ayubowan", but he did so. We were impressed. We had fresh passion fruit juice as welcome drink. And he was thoughtful and was ready to serve tea or coffee as welcome drink if we asked because we travelled nearly seven hours from Badulla to Galle. Actually we were super tired. AC was not there but Fan worked very well. We we could sleep well. Room was really good and four poster bed was really comfy. room was bit smaller but manageable. However next day we travelled here and there in Galle in day time. So that was not a big issue for us. Importantly as this place was newly constructed bathroom was really clean and modern. Shampoo, shower gel, soap and clean towels were there in the bathroom. Hair dryer and importantly there were two plug point next to the bed to charge your phone. We requested breakfast by 07am next day morning. Surprisingly Ajith uncle had made a fabulous international breakfast for us. We never expect such a huge breakfast at this place. But it was super delicious and our bellies were full. Toasts with butter and jam, Large Sri Lankan style omlets, Milk tea, Muffins, Fruit plate, and fruit juice. OMG..! That's really worthy. And next day breakfast he brought us some Sweet coconut rotti which were never tasted before. He thought that would be nice to give us some thing authentic for Galle area. If you visit this place ask Ajith uncle to bring some sweet coco rotties. That was lovely. Only one guest room is available right now but few other rooms are under construction.

Breakfast was amazing, and he is a pro of preparing it quickly. Service level is superb. Friendly people. Try an Uber or Pickme from Galle. It's half the price of normal threewheeler. The location is on the Galle Road. Name board is too small.

The staff were helpful and gave us more real information about galle. The shower was great. Breakfast served in cosy place in touch with the family. They are helpful and smily with a great kindness. I realy apreciate Mr. Ajith and his nice son.

Ajith is the perfect host! His kind, friendly nature brightened our day. He is also an incredible cook and we looked forward to breakfast every morning! The food is exceptional and it was wonderful to get to experience a Sri Lankan breakfast made by someone with so much talent. The room is impeccably clean and the shower is fantastic. The garden surrounding the property is stunning and we loved getting a tour of the spice garden!
