Io e mio marito siamo stati al Seahorse per una notte all'arrivo in Sri Lanka. La struttura è accogliente e il personale gentilissimo e molto cordiale. La nostra stanza era ampia, con un terrazzo e con tutti i comfort necessari. La struttura dispone di una bella piscina dove poter rilassarsi. Abbiamo usufruito della colazione e della cena entrambe ottime!! Sopratutto la cena, servita nel ristorante a bordo piscina. Vorrei fare i complimenti al personale dell'hotel perché sono stati davvero molto gentili con noi.

Vicinanza all’aeroporto

Camere e struttura datate, al checkout ci hanno trattenuto prima di farci andare via per controllare che la camera fosse ok. Non è un trattamento da 4 stelle. Colazione con scarsa scelta.

Beautiful room with very comfortable beds. Refreshing welcome drink in the pool area and very friendly staff. Overall a perfect stay after a long journey.

Very limited breakfast as a big part of the breakfast buffet was closed. Shower pressure very low, almost impossible to wash hair.

Das Hotel liegt ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand weg. In 5 Minuten erreicht man schon die Straße wo es sehr viele Einkaufsmölichkeiten und Restaurant sowie Bars gibt. Es liegt sehr ruhig und doch Zentral. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und geht auf alle Wünsche ein. Wlan funktioniert. Unser Appartment hatte 57 qm und war sehr sauber. Ideal für Familie mit Kinder. Schöner und sauberer Pool. Frühstück sehr gut ( Büffet).

Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Drinking water provided. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Clean quiet friendly staff

The hotel was very comfortable and had an amazing pool. We had breakfast two times which was also very nice, a good mix of western and Sri Lankan breakfast.

On Saturday they have live music which we did not know in advance. We would have loved this but had a very long travelday and wanted to go to sleep early in the evening which was a bit difficult due to the music. However, they did tell us an hour before the music started and it ended at 22.30 which is a very decent time!

Excellent location, everything is walkable from here. Additionally, rooms are big and clean.

Quite noisy at night as parties were going on. Additionally, water pressure issues occurred multiple times…

Volgens mij was dit vroeger een prachtig 4 sterren hotel, maar het is wat afgeleefd. De puntjes op de I ontbreken.

Great stop over if you land on Colombo late afternoon before heading to your next destination. The staff was attentive to needs. They kept the kitchen open till late so we could have dinner. The pool is super nice when it's hot outside.

There's nothing much to see around the hotel. Perhaps you could walk to the beach. However it was a great stop for us as we started our Sri Lanka journey.

Estaba limpio y habitación amplia.

La cena desaconsejó cogerla, tardan muchísimo en atender y si coges Media Pensión es un menú cerrado. Hasta las 12 hubo muchísimo ruido con música de algún bar cercano que impedía el descanso.

We hebben hier bij aankomst in Srilanka en voor vertrek nogmaals verbleven, we werden prima ontvangen en het was heerlijk ff een zwembad te hebben om nog even in te plonsen en bij te komen van de reis voordat je verder trekt. Ontbijt was prima buffet. Verder genoeg restaurantjes in buurt of aan het strand op loopafstand.

Airco in de grote kamer deed het beide keren niet goed.

Perfect hotel for when you arrive after a long flight. Our room was ready at 9 in the morning, for which we were extremely grateful after our long journey. Room, swimming pool, breakfast and service were all perfect.

Heel relaxed resortje met vriendelijke mensen. Fijne kamers waar we goed hebben kunnen acclimatiseren na onze aankomst in sri Lanka met ons gezin.

Personeel is heel vriendelijk maar ook heel erg langzaam. Alles duurt werkelijk lang. Als je een koffie besteld staat er 3 man 20 minuten ik-weet-niet-wat te doen, maar het duurt in ieder geval heel erg lang. We zijn op vakantie dus echt erg is het niet, maar goed.. het valt wel op.

Prior to staying at the property I rang and emailed 3 times - no response very poor communication. They have been scammed by booking.com Air conditioning in room was poor. Asked staff to fix wifi several times. Check out took longer than expected

I got upgraded to a better room. The room was spacious, comfy, the AC was working perfectly and was quiet. The pool is open until 8pm and is of a proper size for a nice swim. Late check out is available on request and it is also possible to use the hotel facilities after. 30 min from the airport (btw, it's cheaper to take a tuktuk than a taxi)

There is no water in the bathroom and the breakfast is poor

The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us. There was a leaky roof in one room and they immediately too measures to move us out and ensure our comfort as quickly as possible. Food was also excellent.

Only thing I didn’t like about the villa room we got was the toilet layout. There were steps in the toilet and it was difficult to be used by my elderly mom. Wish there were cabinets under the sinks for storage. Other than that everything was good

Amazing stay at a lovely property. They gave us rooms together inside a villa so it had a common door, felt so private and cosy plus with an additional common area inside and outside the villa. They also gave us a really late check out till late evening as we had a night flight which was super helpful with 3 young children. The pool is very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast and lunch buffets were also quite tasty and good value for money. Would’ve loved to stay longer

Where to start? 1) We reserved a Villa with 2 rooms - well, they do not really have Villas as seemed on the pictures, you have one entrance with 2 rooms and a shared hall, each room needs its own key 2) Second family, we ended up with 2 separate rooms basically, we booked this as it has been shown as I Villa with 2 bedrooms, not that we have to be next door in separate rooms basically. Knowing this, we would never book 3) Internet - a total tragedy 4) 3 out of 4 rooms, which we had smelled like shit, very bad 5) The A/C in one of the rooms was broken, but they did not fix it 6) The water in the pool was quite dirty, you could smell the chlorine, and it hurt your eyes kind of 7) SPA - they declare a SPA - also one of the reasons we booked it - there is no SPA - for that you need to go 10-15 minutes to a SPA itself, not sure why they call themselves a SPA or advertise it, it is absolutely not true I am not spoiled or anything, but how this is advertised is way away from reality. Definitely not a 4 stars even for Sri Lanka´s standard.

Very comfortable stay close to the airport. Nice swimming pool, lush garden, big family rooms with separate bedrooms, comfy beds and AC, good food in the restaurant. Perfect stop before or after catching a flight.

Very high rates for airport pick up and drop off so would highly recommend to book yourself.

Die Villa mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Badezimmern ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Hotelanlage ist sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen ist hervorragend und das Personal freundlich.

Beim Swimming Pool wurde leider zu viel Chemie eingesetzt.

Everything was great, the staff were friendly & helpful. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable. AC and fan both worked well. The bathroom was clean & the shower was really good, lots of hot water too! The pool area was lovely. Great breakfast with different options at the buffet each morning. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Er was een taxi vanuit het hotel geregeld om ons midden in de nacht van het vliegveld te halen. Een hele vriendelijke jongen haalde ons op, en moest best lang wachten, maar dat was zelfs, midden in de nacht, geen probleem. We kregen een upgrade met aankomst en hadden een bubbelbad op onze patio! Het zwembad was heerlijk en het personeel was uiterst behulpzaam.

Prijs kwaliteit is niet geheel in verhouding. Lakens en het bubbelbad hadden wat schoner gemogen. Mijn kant van het bed was wat door gelegen.

Na snídani není k dispozici voda, jen juice. Jakmile někdo chce vodu, musí si ji koupit. Některé pokoje jsou umístěny nad garáží, výpary jsou cítit. Na našem pojine nebyla vůbec funkční wifi.

チェックインが終わって部屋に入るまで20分以上待たされた。部屋に連れて行ってと言ってもすぐに行くので少し待っててと言われるだけでまた待たされる。痺れを切らして強く言うとどうやら部屋の清掃が終わってなかったみたい。最初から隠さず説明してくれたらいいのに。部屋には小さな虫がたくさんいた。 ローカルの人に聞いても評判が良くないホテルとのこと。

Thius hotel let me down badly. They cancelled my stay with less than 12 hourse notice and then asked me to cancel on Booking.com so that they would not get charged for their own incompetence. They claimed maintenance issues as the reason, but I was let down and asked to cancel on thier behalf hich made it feel like a scam. I suspect they cancelled my because I only had one nghts stay and they found a better offer. If they did this to me, htey could do it to others. Do not pay upfront for this place.

Very serene, quiet, with a nice garden next to the pool. The food was absolutely anazing, both dinner and breakfast. I recommend getting the "Half Board" to include dinner, absolute bargain. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Let me also mention that you get a special welcome on yiyr arrival! It feels like a resort but hidden in the middle of Negombo. Much more recommended than beach side hotels ;)

Our room was great, a big comfy bed in a large room with a nice bathroom and balcony. The pool was great, and the lady at check in was really helpful giving us a good rate when we needed to stay longer due to flight cancellations.

There were a few things that just made it not as great as all the other amazing places we stayed during our trip. We found it not to be a relaxing space as there were so many staff there at times even outnumbering the guests, constantly milling about aimlessly and at times even being slightly disruptive to any calm atmosphere. At breakfast I was constantly getting knocked into by staff, many of whom were just looking busy but definitely didn’t need to be there. I don’t mean to sound mean, most were very friendly, but I did find it impossible to relax, even by the pool which is the whole point!

Relativ ruhige, schöne Anlage etwas abseits des Zentrums, rustikale, einladende Zimmerausstattung; schöne Buffett-Auswahl zum Dinner, Frühstück dagegen eher einfach. Sehr netter Empfang, der Restaurantservice sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Das Bad könnte unbedingt eine Auffrischung ertragen, Handtücher schon sehr lange in Gebrauch, Betten sind hart und unbequem. Die Zuordnung der Lichtschalter war „speziell“ - die Nachttischlampe war z. B. nur am Türeingang an- und auszuschalten.

Really nice place, big spacious room, nice pool area. Feels very safe and tucked away while still walking distance to restaurants and shops. Hotel staff were very helpful and spoke great English. Food was either menu or buffet - both were good.

The property is beautiful, very clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s also conveniently located / about a 30-minute taxi ride from the airport and only a 5-minute walk to the beach road.

There were, however, a few areas that could be improved. The reservation response level was quite poor during the booking stage, which made the initial process a bit frustrating. Breakfast was good but somewhat limited in variety. I also requested extra pillows twice during my stay, but they were never delivered to the room. Despite these issues, the hotel has great potential. With a bit more attention to service details and a stronger customer-focused approach, it could be excellent. I would still love to return on my next visit.

Breakfast was good, plenty of variety. The staff from management to cleaning excellent, even the in house tour guide was very helpful and resourceful. Keep up the great work guys and girls.
