Limitations usage of Air-conditioned, cutlery not enough, mosquitoes not provided with insect killer spray. Our car was parked outside while the garage used by the owner

Reviewed Dec 6, 2025Der Pool mit seinem Außenbereich war unser Highlight. Die Gastgeber plus Personal waren sehr, sehr freundlich. Wir haben einen tollen, selbst gebackenen Schokoladenkuchen bekommen.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025I was very suprised this was a lovely high end unit. The attention to detail was incredible. The hostess so friendly and welcoming. Felt like a long lost family reunion. Shower, rooms, kitchen everything exceptional.

Reviewed May 5, 2025Firstly, the owner of the property was so warm and welcoming to my family and I. The place was cozy and definitely felt like a home away from home. Everything was neat and tidy. We had all the amenities we needed on site. The place had such a beautiful outdoor area. We will definitely go back whenever we are in Richards Bay. Highly recommended! Real value for money.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2025Fabulous property, very clean and well equipped. It was very hot so we made full use of the pool and garden, which was peaceful and beautiful. Loved the host’s attention to detail and little touches, like welcome fudge and great choice of tea / coffee and rusks.
It was great value for money, but given climate, having to pay extra for aircon was unwelcome.

The house is soo beautiful and so so clean! Equipped with everything you need and more. It is really a home away from home. The host is so loving and caring she gave our daughters toys and made us yummy baked treats❤️❤️❤️

Reviewed Sep 25, 2024The host was the most humble soul id ever come in contact with. She had the most loving and welcoming attitude to me especially to my 2 little babies. She even entertained my kids when it was time for us to pack up and leave. She provided the most delicious freshly baked bread rolls along with many other little hand crafted souvenirs in the house. I cannot wait to go back to Sea La Vie!!!
There was absolutely nothing that I could fault the host or establishment for. This was the perfect place for a little family and quiet time.

Third bed in unit is a walk through bed well established for a child travelling with a family. Did not need it as we each had our own bedroom.

Reviewed May 19, 2024This was the best stay on our trip to South Africa. Absolutely everything was perfect. The location is nice and peaceful, the apartment is stunning, spacious and so tastefully decorated. Engela is such a beautiful person and the kindest most thoughtful host. The beds were incredibly comfy and the shower lovely and spacious. There were so many extra special touches like rusks and little gifts that made our stay beyond exceptional.
There is nothing that I didn't like.

Couldn't get hold of the host telephonically to pick up keys. Drove to the place and hooted, we were helped immediately but was a bit stressful not knowing if we would be able to get in ahead of time. Slight smell of cigarette smoke on arrival - aired out fairly quickly.
