AC unit was incredibly loud. For the hot days where we needed to keep it on at night, it was hard to sleep because the unit was making loud throttling and banging noises.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Ik had begrepen dat het ontbijt erg goed was, maar niet inbegrepen. Blijkbaar begon het ontbijtseizoen pas op 1 september. Maar er was gratis cake en koekjes, wat voldoende waren. De kamer was heel mooi en het bed zeer comfortabel. Het verblijf was net alsof de eigenaar even boodschappen was gaan doen en men moet zichzelf thuis voelen. Echt een 'taste of old Florence' met de decoraties. Giulia was zeer hulpzaam, ook met info over wat er in de buurt was - veel!!
Ja, ik vond het toch jammer dat ik er in het Florentijnse laagseizoen was en ontbijt heb gemist

We arrived well past regular check in hours and Giulia was super accommodating and detailed in her instructions for how to enter the apartment. The attention to detail was superb and I felt comfortable during our stay. Everything from the room to the bathroom and kitchen was clean and comfortable. If I ever come back to Firenze I will be sure to book with Giulia again! Thank you for such great hospitality!

En pocas palabras es muy acogedor en parte gracias a la hospitalidad de Giulia. Ha sido muy amable y servicial. Si buscas vivir una experiencia en florencia más como “local” este es tu sitio.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Lokalita byla úžasná, bylo to mimo hlavní turistické centrum, zároveň ale v docházkové vzdálenosti od centra. V okolí je spousta dobrých a levnějších restaurací, paní ubytovatelka byla velmi nápomocná, dala nám několik typů.
Bohužel koupelna nebyla součástí pokoje, muselo se chodit přes chodbu, což bylo trošku nekomfortní.

Large bathroom with both a shower and tub, but shelving for toiletries was sparse. Easily overlooked. So many other great features and services.

La struttura è ben servita anche dai mezzi. Le camere sono molto curate, la colazione è semplice, ma abbondante. Giulia si è prodigata per darci consigli.
Nulla, la nostra vacanza è stata condizionata dal caldo torrido, ma a Home in Florence abbiamo trovato rifugio ogni volta che abbiamo sentito la necessità di una pausa.

Camera pulita e mantenuta molto bene con tutti i confort necessari. Buona e abbondante colazione. Posizione veramente ottimale vicino al centro. Sicuramente quando ritornereno sapremo già dove alloggiare. Veramente super consigliata

Lite dåligt tilltaget med duschtvål och schampo. Synd att inte kaffeautomaten i frukostrummet var tillgänglig hela dagen.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2026Die Lage ist sehr gut und nicht zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt. Zu Fuß gut erreichbar! Nach einem langen Tag in Florenz war es eine Wohltat, ins kleine, ruhige und kühle Hotel zu kommen. Wenn man das alte Treppenhaus passiert hat, ist man überrascht über die geschmackvoll und liebevoll gestaltete Unterkunft. Man erlebt eine künstlerische Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer war groß und ruhig und die Betten gut. Nachfragen wurden von den beiden Inhaberinnen freundlich beantwortet. Das Frühstück war, abgesehen vom Kaffee, gut. Bei der Abreise konnten wir es 15min. früher einnehmen. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen oder weiterempfehlen!
Die Dusche war sehr eng und sollte erneuert werden. Der Kaffee könnte schmackhafter sein. Sonst waren wir mit allem sehr zufrieden!

Reviewed May 23, 2026We were able to walk to many of the museums and high lights in Florence. The laundrette at the end of the street was a big bonus. Breakfast was sufficient and our room was generous in size, the shower was very good and all in all it was extremely romantic.
We are seniors and found climbing the stairs a little difficult. But once we reached the top it was delightful.

Reviewed May 18, 2026Aamiainen oli yksinkertainen mutta ihan hyvä. Toki ottaen huomioon, että eletään edullisen ja erinomaisen ruuan maassa, voisi olettaa enemmän. Huoneet olivat siistejä.
Pesuaineiden tuoksu oli hyvin voimakas ja ilma hieman tunkkainen. Huoneiden ikkunoita ei voinut pitää auki, koska sieltä tuli hyttysiä sisään. Äänieristys huoneiden välillä oli olematon.

Reviewed May 16, 2026Muy buena estancia en B&B Home in Florence, Giulia es un gran activo de este lugar, que es amplio, limpio y cómodo, los desayunos incluidos muy buenos, la primera noche llegamos muy cansados y nos despertamos un poco después del horario del desayuno, fuimos a asomarnos para ver si conseguíamos un café y Giulia nos sirvió avena y algunos bocadillos además de un excelente café, muchas gracias Giulia!
Hay que subir escaleras con maletas, afortunadamente, solo es un piso...

la salle de bain était vraiment très petite, notamment la douche ; cela peut-être compliqué pour certains. Pour ma part, j'ai trouvé le matelas trop dur.

Reviewed May 5, 2026La ubicación es excelente, estás a pocos minutos del Palacio de Pitti, pero en una calle tranquila para descansar. Del centro, cruzando en Puente Veccio, en 15 minutos. Todo muy limpio, sencillo y cómodo. El desayuno también muy bien. Y valorar, por encima de todo, a Julia. Fue super encantadora con nosotros, tan amable y agradable. Sin duda, recomendado 100% y volveremos!

Reviewed May 4, 2026Le logement est situé un peu à l'écart du centre historique (quartier Santo Spirito), mais à seulement 15mn à pied du Duomo, des musées, dans un quartier calme. Giula nous a fourni toutes les infos pour se rendre au logement (les instructions sont très claires) et est de très bon conseil pour visiter Florence également (cerise sur le gateau, elle parle français !) On a vu dans des commentaires précédents des remarques sur la salle de bains (qui serait trop petite). Franchement, ce n'est pas le cas, de plus la chambre est grande pour poser ses valises et ses affaires. Le petit déjeuner est très bien également avec du choix pour tous les gouts.

Reviewed May 1, 2026Rummet var fantastiskt vackert, med vackra möbler, takmålning mm. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Frukosten var bra. Nära till sevärdheter. Plus för kylskåp på rummet, lyxigt med både badkar och dusch.
Sängen. Bäddmadrass saknades, man låg direkt på resårmadrassen vilket gjorde att lakanen gled. Sängen var också väldigt hård. Det var också väldigt lyhört ut mot gatan och tyvärr ganska mycket ljud därifrån till sent på kvällen.

Tenía escaleras lo que dificulta llegar con maletas.( como un tercer piso) El baño fuera de la habitación es totalmente desagradable. Tenía una llave para cerrar, con mucho ruido. Habitación contigua al desayunador, Le quitaba privacidad a la habitación.

Номер попросту древний, а не аутентичный, как на фото. Очень маленькая ванная со старой неисправной сантехникой, ободранные стены со следами убиенных комаров. Большинство плечиков в шкафу оказались сломанными, в номере нет даже простейших тапочек, поэтому будьте готовы ходить босиком по каменному холодному полу. Из туалетных принадлежностей - шапочка и гель для душа и мыло. За три дня ни разу не сменили полотенца. Завтрак - это отдельный разговор... Хлеб, тосты, джем, масло, плавленый сырок и нарезка из двух видов твердого сыра, одного вида колбасы и прошутто. Яблоки, пару видов йогурта и мюсли. Кофемашина с невкусной робустой.

Reviewed Apr 16, 2026Sonia et Giulia ont été non seulement accueillantes mais également extrêmement serviables. Un grand merci à elles deux pour leurs conseils et services. Les chambres sont situées dans un quartier plus typique de Florence par la population, c'est tellement plaisant. C'est un endroit à recommander et nous aurons plaisir à y revenir.

I just want to do other travelers the favor of letting them know what to expect, since the listing is not accurate.
I booked this hotel because it called itself a "B&B" and the listing promised a delicious breakfast for 6 Euros. Also because it promised two separate beds in each room. I was booking myself for two days, and a group of clients for a week. I'd promised my clients separate beds (since they are unrelated to each other) and breakfast. At the last minute I was told that no breakfast would be available (so I guess it's just a B, not a B&B?) and even though I was assured repeatedly, in messages and in person, that each guest could have her own bed, at the end we were told there weren't enough sheets to make up separate beds and two guests were forced to share.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026comme c'était hors saison, pas de pdj, mais ce n'était pas très grave. Plein d'établissements autour proposent le petit-déjeuner, donc l'occasion de découvrir d'autres lieux dans une ambiance italienne.
la salle de bain est petite, mais tout ce qu'il faut. Le wifi fonctionnait moins bien dans la chambre, mais il suffisait de se déplacer dans l'endroit près de la réception, donc pas très important.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2026The location of the hotel is outstanding - 5 mins to Boboli Gardens, 10 - 15 mins to Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Cappella Brancacci. The hotel and the neighborhood are quiet. The room is big and clean, the bed is comfortable. A breakfast of coffee, cake and biscuits is available in the morning. The managers of the hotel (Giulia and Sonia) were very attentive and helpful. Communication with them was excellent (prior to my arrival and during my stay). The check-in process was flawless too. It was possible to leave my luggage in the hotel for a few hours after check-out and do last museum visits ;) I would consider staying here again on a next visit to Florence. Highly recommended!
