Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Great location Lovely property, v clean & well presented. Comfortable beds with lovely warm duvets (it was January!) Tea & coffee available, with some store cupboard essentials like condiments, cooking oil etc. which make shopping less stressful. Netflix already logged in on TV, appreciated. Host supplied information sheet with really useful stuff about the house, but also about the town & surrounding area with personal recommendations.

Reviewed Oct 10, 2025It was like a home away from home, it was very cozy and made us feel like coming home. We really liked the location and the décor, and communication with the host were friendly and easy. We’ll definitely come back when our travel plans bring us down to West Cork again.

We were attending a wedding and there were not coat hangers to hang suits and dresses. Plenty of cupboard space but no wardrobes. A cloths rail in one room would be handy. Also kitchen bin hadn’t been emptied.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2025I would definitely recommend staying here. The house was lovely and a good location. Great view of the church and a lovely stream running at the back of the property. A well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and clean bed linen. A bit of maintenance is needed. The bathroom door handle was hanging off, and a hinge on a unit in the lounge was broken. I would suggest perhaps leaving a welcome book, informing guests how to use the heating, places of interest, Wifi password, recommendations, and nearby facilities. Put a few minor things right and the place would be perfect.

instructions for the tv would have been handy... really only wanted a radio for a bit of music while we chatted... would have been good to have the stove set...no fuel so got a few fire logs from the nearby shop

Tricky to find using house number and street name on Google Maps. Eircode would definitely work better.
