Lumiere Riverside - Raymond Holm - Luxurious 5-star apartment

The building is nice. The pool is quite nice. The units are good and reasonably well equipped. They were well cleaned. If I had one piece of advice to the management company, it would be to upgrade the furniture and art. It really would make the units so much more consistently attractive and likely raise the fees that you could charge significantly if the units all were furnished and decorated well. The team was accommodating when I had a request early on and I really appreciated their responsiveness and flexibility. They were responsive about communication. They accommodated a 1 hour late checkout which I also appreciated. For this part of D2, a good option.

See above, mainly the furniture. I don't know this for certain but my sense is the building may have some problems with water intrusion and/or internal moisture. Higher floor units may be the better ones overall.

Great place and clean apartment

Goed en schoon appartement. Goed afgewerkt en fijne omgeving. Uit het centrum maar genoeg coffee en eettentjes in de buurt. Het zwembad is erg mooi, waanzinnig uitzicht over de stad en keurig onderhouden

De whatsapp waar bepaalde vlekken door zijn veroorzaakt. Rare vraag en irrelevant. Ik had echt een euforisch gevoel totdat ik dit bericht kreeg. Vlekken zijn er om op te lossen. Daar is housekeeping voor.

Modern apartment , great location

Booked a two bedroom apartment with 3 beds which costs more a room with 2 beds. When I arrived there were only 2 beds. I reached out to the owner and they responded they put us in a room with 2 beds so we can be “more comfortable.” What a joke. Then, they said that all their rooms only have 2 beds and that it was a mistake. Unbelievable.

Had a beautiful view over the river, close to amazing Restaurants, supermarkets and the Apartment was very comfortable with great amenities.

The location was prime. The property had every thing that you would need for a comfortable stay. The staffs were very polite and welcoming. The apartment was on 27th floor and the view from the balcony was surreal.

The location was a little further than expected from city centre, but that was no fault of host. Value Grab rides made getting around easy.

Quiet and relaxing location

This place was amazing with spectacular views. Check in was Super easy, the apartment was clean comfortable and the host was very easy to communicate with.

We had a very comfortable stay here, and the host was extremely supportive. There were a few minor inconveniences when using the facilities, as staff assistance was required, but it wasn’t a big issue for us. The price and amenities are excellent—staying in a two-bedroom apartment for four people cost about one-third of a hotel. Please note that this is a serviced apartment, not a hotel, so the experience is a bit different. Overall, it’s a great option for families.

The house is located in the center of District 7, in Phu My Hung. This is a very upscale area with excellent facilities and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and services catering to foreigners. It’s a clean, modern, and well-developed neighborhood with many expats living here. We had a very enjoyable stay. Please make sure to contact the host in advance, as there is no reception on-site, but they will arrange everything for you and provide support 24/7

Large modern appartment in a luxury block, close to a great variety of cafes and restaurants. The swimming pool was under maintenance during our stay which we were not forwarned about but we were able to use the swimming pool in the next block, 3 minutes walk away. The slight inconvenience was that we needed to message the hosts to let us in to use the pool using their face ID everytime but they were very responsive on whatsapp. There are signs up all over the reception and lift areas which warn that short term stays are illegal, which was a bit off putting. Having said all that, the area was great and very easily accessible to District 1 by grab (inexpensive - only a few UK pounds for a 20 minute ride). There is a fabulous bar /restaurant called The Deck less than 10 mins walk away, on the river. I would definitely stay again.

The View and Air con

What should have been a premium stay turned into one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had especially considering how nice the property itself appears. The venue was clearly set up under false pretenses. It became apparent very quickly that the people managing our booking were subletting or operating outside normal hotel arrangements, which created constant confusion and discomfort from the moment we arrived. The staff at the gate treated us with suspicion rather than welcome, and the entire check-in process felt intimidating and irregular. There was signage displayed that made us question whether we were even legitimately allowed to be there. Nothing about the experience felt transparent or professional it felt like everything was happening around the corners rather than openly. Access to facilities was also misrepresented. We could not use the pool freely, and most frustratingly, the Level 8 pool ,the primary reason we chose this property . was closed/offline, with no prior notice, explanation, apology, or attempt at compensation. Communication was poor, and there was a complete lack of courtesy or accountability throughout the stay. The unfortunate part is that the hotel itself looks beautiful and likely has the potential to offer a great experience. However, the people we dealt with appeared to be operating in a highly questionable manner that significantly undermined the stay. I would recommend the venue itself, but absolutely not through these operators. Anyone booking should confirm directly with the hotel that their reservation is legitimate and that all advertised facilities are fully available. Overall, this stands as one of the worst experiences I’ve had in an otherwise attractive hotel setting — disappointing, uncomfortable, and entirely avoidable.

We had everything we needed here. The apartment has beautiful interiors and feels very comfortable, just like home. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, and the space is very comfortable for four people. The host was very supportive. Please note that this is not a hotel, so there is no reception. Nice place outside of district 1. Also very near to many eateries and shops around district 2. Nearby to many big malls with supermarkets and shopping to do!

Beds were a bit hard for us

Spacious apartment, modern and building is very nice.

Be warned, this is a residential apartment building that is being used for short stay accommodation, and there are huge signs in the lobby telling you that this is ILLEGAL and making you feel like a criminal. The hosts make it very clear before check in that you are not to speak to the concierge or lobby staff (now I know it's because you aren't supposed to be staying there). One of the rooms in our apartment hadn't been cleaned, rings from a cup and toothpaste on the bathroom sink, a dirty towel left behind and a big stain on the sheet. Also there is no mattress on the bed, it is a pile of quilts on a hard wooden base and very very uncomfortable. I also didn't realize (and this is probably on me to do more research) that this apartment is quite far away from the main action in District 1 and traffic is a nightmare so took over an hour to travel into the main city area on a Friday night. We ended up leaving after one night to go stay closer to the city. This apartment might be ok for a family wanting to stay in a self contained space away from the noise and bustle of the city, but my expectations were definitely not met.

All the apartment was wonderful, good quality in a great location with lits of thinhs to do, eat and shop nearby. the view was amazing.

I was only a bit disappointed that the gym was under maintenance and couldn'tbe used, and to use the pool you have to go there with someone from the staff so it makes it a bit difficult to coordinate and access. I think this kind of details should be in the description to know what to expect.

Ambiance de quartier très différente du centre ville. C’est un quartier d’expats. Restos aux alentours sympas mais plus chers qu’ailleurs a HCMC. Appartement spacieux et la vue depuis les chambres est top. Salle de sport et piscine sont un vrai plus.

La propreté était moyenne. Pas de lampe de chevet : pour éteindre la lumière il faut quitter le lit . Tapis propreté douteuse. Malheureusement il y a un enorme chantier de construction juste a côté de la residence et cela nous réveillait très tôt le matin. Mais bon, on y etait uniquement pour dormir donc ok

Lägenheten hade fantastisk utsikt. Den var ren, supersköna sängar. Tillgång till ett fint poolområde med utsikt över skyskraporna. Området ligger precis vid en stor motorväg men åt andra hållet finns mysiga bakgator med massor av restauranger och caféer. Skulle gärna bo här igen.

Arrival instructions were clear and we were able to gain access quickly. The room was well furnished and the facilities in the building were excellent. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and both bathrooms were clean and modern.

The bed in the 2nd bedroom was as hard as a rock and needs to be replaced. Also, there are some threatening signs in the lobby about short-stays being illegal in the building. We didn't run into any trouble as a result, though it was a concern to be blatantly breaching this directive.

Good sized apartment in modern development and in a nice area of HCMC. Great swimming pool and a nice view over the river from the apartment. Apartment well équiped and the girl that managed the apartment was very helpful. We had a problem with the bank within the development, she went out of her way to assist us resolve the problem. The check in was straight forward and there were no complications to collect the key. We were also able to Check out late which was great as we had a flight in the late afternoon.

The apartment is in a new building that is a little too far from the centre of the city. It is situated on the new métro Line, however it is a good 15 minutes walk to the métro station. There are a few restaurants within the development but they are rather expensive compared to other restaurants we ate in in HCMC. The apartment could have been a little cleaner, the Windows needed cleaning and the splash backs in the kitchen were a little dirty. Being a short term rental apartment it was a little knocked around. Overall it didnt really bother us though, we enjoyed our stay, and it was good value for money all the same.

Great facilities including swimming pool, gym room and tennis court. Host was accommodating and responsive. Thao Dien is a good district to stay at with good cafe/food/spa options nearby if you don't have to do a lot of sightseeing.

No housekeeping

The apartment is just like they said - unique and cozy. We felt right at home, especially at the spacious swimming pool area. The kids had a blast and the host was super friendly, making our stay even better.

Incredible value for money! I was skeptical at first, but it turned out to be even better than expected. We stayed in three spacious apartments, all bright, clean, and equipped with blackout curtains and stunning views. The entire place was spotless and well-maintained. There were multiple pools, all very clean, plus a two-story supermarket, kiosks, cafés, and even bubble tea. The host was excellent, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Great property in a great location and exactly like the pictures, awesome views and the roof top pool is very nice too. And wait to you try the toilets….

Lovely clean and modern apartment, well-equipped with stunning views and lots of amenities and great restaurants etc, nearby, Felt very safe and it was easy to get in and out. It was also a good place to work, with reliable wifi and a desk, table etc. I enjoyed my stay - i would definitely go back and recommend to others.

Not a major thing but the mattress and bedding felt a little tired/basic.
