Property was very centrally located an easy walking distance to most inner city attractions. Breakfast had a great selection. Rooms were very clean and staff friendly. Afternoon tea on the rooftop had a great selection to pick from.

Definitely the staff. They felt like home and very attentive both inside and outside of the hotel.

Unfortunately, they were doing construction or remodeling next to our room for the first two days I was there. We did not get to relax our first day there assuming it was our neighbors or outside construction.

We really enjoyed staying at Au Lac. The room was great, and the breakfast was nice.

The furniture was a bit tired. Good variety at breakfast but food was always lukewarm. Swimming pool is more of a plunge pool. Too small for swimming.

Location. You can walk to the museums and main attractions.

The rooms were deceptively small compared to what’s online and the bathroom was not clean. The shower curtain was moldy and there’s barely any space to keep your luggage.

Very honest, great stay. Helpful and kind staff. Facilities were cleaned and well looked after. Nice view from the roof top.

Good value for money. Close to some of the main attractions and easy walk. We stayed here at the end of our Vietnam trip for one night prior to heading home. Staff were excellent and the breakfast was great as well.

Was a bit noisy, on a main road. Bed was a bit hard, room was also smaller than we had experienced in our trip to that point.

Hôtel bien situé, le style est authentique avec la piscine ( plutôt jacuzzi) hammam et à 16h ils offrent le thé avec un buffet sucré, salé tout ça sur le toit au 12eme . Mention spéciale pour le personnel qui ont fêté l'anniversaire de notre fils au moment du check out et offert un gâteau., encore Merci . La chambre est petite mais cosy et propre. Avec le nécessaire.

Rien , juste que les peignoirs qui sont magnifiques ne se ferment pas .ils ont cousu , je pense les ceintures.

the hotel had a nice location, the staff was interested and helped us with everything:) they showed us the benevolence and beauty of the Vietnamese people:)

Der Schreibtisch war zu schmal bzw. zu klein. Die Wände waren zu dünn, sodass ich die Gespräche der Nachbarn sehr leicht hören konnte. Beim Frühstück lief das Personal ständig herum und unterhielt sich dabei recht laut, was ich etwas störend fand. Bei einer konkreten touristischen Frage verwies mich die Rezeption auf Google - in gebrochenem Englisch. Das Zeitfenster für den Rooftop Tee war begrenzt, einige Köstlichkeiten waren leider nicht verfügbar

Magnifique hôtel, superbe petit déjeuner. Roof top et bar superbes. L'accueil est top et le personnel très accueillant et disponible. Très bon emplacement.

La posizione perfetta, la piscina e palestra con vista molto carine.

La camera un po troppo piccola con finestra molto piccola (che per fortuna si apriva). La colazione potrebbe essere meglio. Sono comunque piccole note molto puntigliose, l’hotel è ben allineato agli standard di comfort e pulizia europei. Sicuramente lo consiglierei.

The room needed hooks for towels and clothing, other than the wardrobe space. The gym was very small and not really a useable space. TV buttons did not work so just used CC the other adjoining room.

Das Hotel ist ausgesprochen schön, die Lage super zentral, man kann fußläufig die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Der Pool auf der Dachterrasse ist klein aber für eine Erholung nach einem anstrengenden Rundgang perfekt. Zimmer klein aber fein und sauber, Frühstück sehr vielfältig

Die Zimmer sind leider ein wenig hellhörig.

This is the second Au Lac location I have stayed at in Saigon and once again I had an excellent stay. The staff is excellent and the room was great. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. It's a charming and peaceful hotel. The breakfast buffet and afternoon tea were very good. I also ordered in room dinner, which was very good. It is located in a nice part of the city, with many conveniences at hand. I would book again.

The hotel is located near the center of Saigon, offering convenient access to shopping malls, restaurants, historical sites, museums, and more. Room rates are reasonable, and the staffs are polite and eager to assist. I would choose to stay here again when I return to Saigon

This is a small hotel sitting a couple of blocks back from the main city area, but still plenty of shops, restaurants etc nearby. It's a funky little place, with great staff. We had a balcony room, queen size bed was firm and shower was large and a walk in type. Breakfast was good.

Room size was the smallest we had but is comparable with the price. No hand rail on steps up to the front door, this is a common thing in Vietnam so for older people something to be aware of.

Great location, close from the city center and all the activities but still in a quiet area of the city. The room and common area were really clean and the staff was very helpful and attentive. We had a great stay.

The hotel is excellent—reasonably priced, close to the center of Saigon, and conveniently located, with very enthusiastic staffs. I will return on my next visit to Saigon.

We bought double deluxe rooms. I the evening when we arrived, the fridge was doing a crazy noise so we had to unplugged it ourselves. No other solution proposed and nobody come to help I want to take a shower before to sleep. No hot water. And door of the bathroom let you blocked inside. In the morning, no water. Impossible to flush toilets. The receptionist says wait until 12 (it was 7 when I asked). I explained my wife was sick and needs toilets and to clean herself quickly. No solution proposed except to wait. Nobody came to the room the help until I forced receptionist to come. Employee "Tue Nghi - Amie" treated us unrespecfuly and aggressively. I strangely also just received a text message from the following phone number insulting me +84 93 856 87 76. Avoid this hotel if you can

Hotel is incredibly noisy from drunk guest returning after midnight, guest leaving early and cleaning staff. Impossible to get decent sleep. Customer service staff Andy was the most rude and impolite person i ever met in 20 years travel in Vietnam.

Everything was great but we particularly liked the breakfast and the pool area.

We loved this hotel. It has a really nice style and architecture. More old style Vietnam. The staff are truly amazing. We have stated at 5 hotels so far on our trip here and the service here is unrivaled. Chloe and team are truly wonderful and also efficient. Breakfast is outstanding. The location could not be better - in the heart of the old quarter. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Die Zimmer waren genau so wie abgebildet, alle waren sehr höflich, es war sauber und ein sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Lage ist perfekt. Pool und rooftop Bar toll.

L’hôtel est un peu bruyant : notre chambre donnait sur une autre chambre avec une porte et on entendait les personnes d’à côté parler comme s’ils étaient dans notre chambre. La rue en dessous est très passante et les fenêtres ne sont pas bien isolées.

Heel comfortabel hotel, een heerlijk rustpunt dat centraal is gelegen in een drukke stad. Heerlijk ontbijt, heel fijn personeel. Lekker ontspannen bij de rooftop-bar!

Very well kept and clean. Just far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything Saigon has to offer.

Well located with friendly staff who are able to assist. The bathroom amenities are very nice (shampoo AND conditioner!) and smell delightful. The shower pressure is fantastic. Good breakfast spread, but go earlier as the staff can get overwhelmed. On a couple of occasions they ran out of cups/glasses etc. and would stop replenishing food to cope with volume of people. Afternoon tea is simple cakes with tea/coffee but very welcome!

I wouldn't bother with getting the room with the outside bath. The only two rooms are on level two so you don't get a view and it's very loud outside.

Nice and quiet hotel. The room was spacious and looked exactly like the photos. Staff were helpful and polite. Would stay here again.

The hotel in district 3 near by some places Breakfast was decent, though there weren't many options. The facilities were old and run-down. The staff were friendly I have to emphasize that.

Broken refrigerator, toilet leaking water, and the bathroom supplies are empty immediately after check-in. If you want to stay in this area, stay at Orchids right around the corner.

We had an awesome stay at Au Lac Legend hotel. The hotel was very central to all the thing within the city centre. The room was very clean, beds were super comfortable and the room was spacious. The service was fantastic looking after us with restaurant bookings and tours. Thought that this was good value for money.

Small rooms. Didnt give us the room we payed extra for. We got no windows and no view even though we payed for it.

The location is very good for various main attractions - Notre Dame, War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace and more. The decor and layout were excellent and staff were very helpful. And the afternoon tea was a wonderful touch.

The shower temperature and pressure were erratic. Also, we had 2 rooms, and one had the "expected" European style 2 pin plug socket and the other had multi national sockets that could accommodate 2 and 3 pin plugs (like UK style) - strange that all rooms couldn't have the multi national sockets

Staff were friendly, hotel room were clean, overall meet my expectations for a hotel in Vietnam.
