Reviewed May 27, 2025It's a beautiful house with an interesting history with absolute lovely hosts. The bed was very comfortable and it was totally quiet. It's really close to all the shops and pubs and sights in this charming historic town, that's definitely worth a visit.
The rooms at the front of the house, such as ours, are quite bright at night due to streetlights and lights on the building next door. Bring a sleeping mask if you're sensitive to that :)

A books of walks in the bedroom was really handy if you don't know the area. Very comfortable room. Bottles of water, kettle and supplies to make tea/coffee are so welcome. Appreciate the KitKats too.
The place was spotless but on a personal level I prefer a duvet rather than a bedspread/blanket over the sheet

Reviewed Aug 1, 2024I'm very picky and I found everythingvery clean and comfortable. Good shower, great mattress and pillows, extra pillow available, sooo quiet I slept like a baby. Large parking area available, tea, milk, sugar, kettle, 2 chocolates, 2 biscuits, 2 small bottles of spring water in the room.
Could serve breakfast but not a problem actually. A bit strange to not see any staff around (only when I got the key, after that they disappear).
