Wish we had stayed longer

Close to the town, spacious , we had the downstairs of the house This included access to garden /patio area out back , bedroom , kitchen , living area and bathroom .

We thought we had booked a complete apartment , it is in fact a house where you do have adequate space downstairs ….. what I was not aware of when booking was the owners are in the house with you upstairs , i think this should be mention in advert as personally I wouldn’t have booked if has known this .

Maureen, the host, is very friendly. It's such a nice place to stay.

Beautiful view, and the outdoor sitting area is particularly lovely. Excellent host, friendly, warm hearted, very helpful.

Water pressure in the shower is a bit low.

Excellent location to the town. Couple of minutes walk. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Could park on drive, very safe.

Limited kitchen space and facilities. Was ok for a 1 night stay but if was staying longer it may not be sufficient. Would benefit with TV in living room and not bedroom.

Maureen was an amazing host she greeted us upon arrival and was kind enough to drop us down to the four seasons as we were in carlingford for a wedding which was very helpful. The facilities contain everything you will need for a stay

Perfect location that was quiet. The views are exceptional with an easy walk into the village. I had everything that I needed to be really comfortable and the host was warm and welcoming. I plan to return.

We had such a lovely stay here. The apartment was in a prime central position for the town and was absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean and with all the comforts of home. Great comfy bed and tastefully decorated. We can't wait to come here again.

Super friendly communication with host who couldn't do enough for us. The whole property is super tasteful decorated throughout. Had a great night sleep. Just sorry we only had one night. Location was just at top of main street couple of mins walk from bars and restaurants.

We had a fabulous stay and our host Maureen couldn't have been any more accommodating. So kind and attentive. Also fabulous location, walking distance to central.

The host was very accommodating kind and helpful. everything we needed was there. A real home from home. Very close for walking in the hills or going into town for some food, drink and some music. 5 mins away.

Beautiful accommodation with stunning views and located centrally in the town with two minute walk to all the bars and restaurants. Apartment is spotless and decorated with great attention to detail throughout. The outdoor space is an unexpected delight and very pleasant to sit out in the evening enjoying the views. Maureen the owner is so helpful and pleasant to deal with and I cannot wait to return again later in the year.

The house is in an excellent location, 2 mins walk to the centre of Carlingford and has fantastic views, it has everything you need and more, spotlessly clean. It was very easy to find and the communication with the host was great, would highly recommend and would book again we really enjoyed our stay

Great location for Tain walk and the town itself

Very close to everything, the town centre was only a 3 minute walk away to a varied selection of places to eat & all with live music or DJ

Not much to dislike, beaches were a short drive away & the weather made it a lovely stay in Carlingford

The apartment was clean spacious and comfortable and the location pretty central. Host is in the apartment above if anything is needed. However everything was in the appartment. We only seen the host on arrival.

Excellent location and had everything a person needed.A lof of thought went into looking after guests.More information than a tourist office if you needed it.Loads of brochures in everything local and further afield Even menus for the local Chinese takeaway etc.The place was spotless from top to bottom.Broadband was 90mb.The host is lovely and very friendly.We would stay again without hesitation.

A short stroll into town but a quiet location. All facilities we needed for a short stay. A lovely “pod” in the garden so that you can enjoy the outdoors no matter the weather. Owner was available via WhatsApp and v helpful and supportive.

Only an airfryer and microwave for cooking so if staying longer or planning to eat in you’d need to plan for those types of meals

The property is perfectly located in the heart of the town, 1 minute walk to the pubs & restaurants, really clean house, comfy bed and the owner is extremely friendly and helpful, if your looking somewhere to stay for a few days this is the place

Spacious and comfortable, delightful back porch area, charming lounge/living room, comfortable bed, small but elegant kitchen.

We had a bit of trouble sorting out the temperature, but with a bit of exploring and initiative I could have figured it out! I also couldn't find the shower (separate from the bathroom), but since I was leaving early straight for ocean swimming, I didn't need it, so again I didn't press too hard (the owner wasn't in town, so it was all organized via messaging).

Very friendly and helpful host, Stayed for a wedding in area and she even provided is with a lift to venue. The place was spotless, comfy and warm. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Perfect location to town

Excellent location to the town of Carlingford and the Four Seasons hotel where we had a wedding. Gorgeous views of the mountains and the lough from the property. Very cosy and warm apartment, with a very comfortable bed. The host Maureen was extremely helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be back to stay again.
