Lovely and clean, close to Westfield Newmarket. Great location

The heat in the rokm with only a small fan. Also I couldn't get the portable hob to heat up to cook on so wasted food that I couldn't cook.

Great bathroom and big bed and TV

The room was directly opposite the highway and the train tracks. If a train went by and you were airing out the room, you couldn't hear yourself think. Other people frequently walked across our terrace. There were ants in the kitchen.

There was no plug for the sink, no remote for the fan as there's no air conditioning, and it was hot and no washing machine or tumble dry as stated on the booking under Room Amenities. I messaged the manager or who ever looks after the bookings, and they did not reply. As far as I'm concerned, I paid for an apartment with a washing machine and dryer, and yet I still had to pay to use these separately. Otherwise, we had a good stay.

No aircon so we were dying on the humid days

I was surprised that there was not an air conditioner in the room. Did okay as it wasn't too hot. Used the heater/fan appliance.

The room was a decent size and comfortable, great deck

The shower had the controls under the shower rose so it was difficult ot turn it on without getting wet.

Everything was clean and very tidy when we arrived, the information we received for checking in and out was fantastic and really informative. The bed was super comfortable as well as the pillows! We will happily stay here again.

The blinds on the windows didn't make the room dark enough when sleeping, a lot of outside light was coming in. If there were black out curtains/blinds it would make a huge difference. I loved that there was a fan in the room as it was very hot, but it was just pushing the hot air around. Having a nice cold air con system in the rooms would be a big advantage.

Location was good, we were attending something at the Spark Arena, very clean and tidy, unit close to car park, laundry facilities available if needed, kitchenette had a top cooker if needed, bathroom nice and good water pressure. Instructions to use door code were good. Good sized bed. Close enough to walk to Westfields at New Market.

It was OK that we didn't have an air conditioner, as mid-November still cool enough, using one sheet at night this year. But come summer would need something more than a fan. The ,little fridge was quite funky and retro, just not sure it was capable of keeping an ice-pack cool enough not to melt.

Location is excellent, short walk to Newmarket shopping district, plenty of restaurants nearby and a short drive Mt Eden village with even more restaurants

Location was great

The location was an upside for our stay. Very nice rooms and comfortable bed. All the facilities were very nice especially the bathroom. We could not fault the cleanliness or layout. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully presented.

Like other reviews the room lacked aircon however we knew this before booking. The window next to the front door also needs proper blinds as the light outside shines through all night. We had to block it with the bed sheet.

Loved the heated floor in the bathroom and the super pressurized shower. The room was super quiet and appreciated the large TV. The location is great. Only a 10-minute walk to Newmarket shopping centre

The toilet seat was loose and too small for the toilet. The tap was wobbly in the bathroom Only the main light in the bedroom area worked. The smaller light by the bed didn't work and the USB plug in that was part of that set up didn't work either.

Nice and comfortable, clean, amenities were good. Parking was great, location is perfect - close to all of the areas that we needed to go

Stayed in Auckland for a gig at Spark Arena. Very helpful and communicative host. Accomdated us with parking. Comfortable, cosy studio apartment. About $15NZD in a taxi to the CBD.

Check in was super easy. We were given the lock box code in advance and the instructions were clear. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large, clean and felt quite fancy. There was a little traffic noise but given the location that was expected. This is my second stay here and I would return again.

An additional bedside table would be helpful

Not so much what i didn't like, but i would recommend an air fryer be available for future guests.

Really loved the place only down fall was the bedding the blanket on bed was really light it was cold no electric blanket or any extra blankets to get warm. So made a crap sleep. Also the blinds didn't block out much light so room wasn't dark. Otherwise good for our stay.

The location was perfect, it was nice and new and had everything that I needed. Staff were great to deal with and made the process easy. Excellent value for money, I'll definitely be back!

Requested for a cooling fan to staff on phone but did not get one even though they said they would. Therefore was disappointed only for that.

The location trumps every other consideration.

We have only a makeshift bedside table. That is fine. If a real one is provided, it makes the room better equiped.

Booked a studio with mountain views, room was on ground level with views of the footpath/road so the room wasn't as advertised. Room was very warm and the fan was definitely well used. An AC/heatpump unit would be a better idea.

I didn't realise when I booked that there was no aircon. So we had to sleep with the window open. We were in the last room at the back and had a lot of noise from the freeway that the motel backed into.

Fantastic location. Easy access for all motorways. Secure parking. Quiet for the city. Safe area. Great bed, powerful shower. Walking distance to Newmarket.

Needed a net curtain or something on the sliding door as everytime someone walked past they could see straight in. A couple of t towels and a dishcloth would have been great instead of one t towel. Only a fan, no air con so got a bit hot and stuffy at times. Coffee plunger would have made it better. Also one towel rail was hanging off wall. All these things are minor but would have made my review a 10

Need a few more utensils including sharp knives in the kitchen unit, also,if my husband wasn't there, I wouldn't have been able to reach the plates, glasses, etc..
