Wonderful property and well equipped for our family of 8. Sweeping views over the lake and mountains Good quality towels and linen. Would definitely return ❤️
It only has one TV in the main lounge room.
This stunning property exceeded our expectations, offering the perfect blend of space, comfort, and breathtaking views. The uninterrupted vistas of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains created a magical atmosphere, especially during sunset when we could gather to watch nature's display from either the cozy indoor lounge or the well-furnished balcony. The thoughtful split-level layout provided ideal accommodation for our multi-generational family. With my parents comfortably situated downstairs, our children in their own bedrooms, and a master suite for my husband and me, everyone enjoyed their private space while still feeling connected. The design minimized noise transfer, ensuring peaceful nights for all. The home's standout features truly elevated our stay. The master bathroom was a luxurious retreat, complete with a spa bath and double shower. The living area became our favorite gathering spot, centered around a warming fireplace that created the perfect ambiance for evening relaxation. The outdoor balcony, equipped with comfortable recliners and dining furniture, offered another wonderful space for family time while soaking in those magnificent lake views.
While our overall stay was excellent, there are a couple of points worth noting for future guests. The property's proximity to Queenstown (700m) is super convenient, however, the steep elevation might challenge those with limited mobility. The spectacular views are a fair trade-off for the climb, but elderly guests or those with mobility issues should be aware that driving may be necessary for access to and from town.
