Amazing place to stay, handy to everything we wanted.

Very relaxing stay. Quiet and peaceful, very short ride to the sea or cafes and supermarket. Highly recommended and would certainly stay again

We had our own breakfast. The view was dramatic and outstanding.

The drivein/up is a bit scary. What if soemone was coming down at the same time?

Wir waren 4 Tage in diesem super schönen B&B, mit einer top Ausstattung und einer herzlichen Gastgeberin. Es liegt auf einem grünen Hügel mit fantastischer Aussicht, sehr ruhig und nicht weit zur schönen Beach von Ruakaka. Auto erforderlich! Wir haben es sehr genossen!

Absolutely spectacular service. Beautiful grounds. The room (studio) had everything and more you could possibly need. Cleanliness was outstanding. Brand new build. We can’t wait to book and stay again!

Beautiful accommodation with real attention to detail. We booked on the fly after a booking.com cock up and we were warmly welcomed and looked after.

Alles! tolles privates B& B mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, grandioser Aussicht auf Meer und Berge! Sehr nette, hilfsbereit Vermieterin!

Einziger Minuspunkt: Für Gäste, wie ich, die mit öffenlichen Verkehrsmitteln reisen schwierig/ fast unmöglich zu erreichen!

This place was awesome! Fantastic room with the most amazing view. Quiet, clean, with an accessible kitchen. Hot tub, great communication. Will be back, for sure.

Not much to complain about here. Maybe having carpeted rooms, but that is just nitpicking.

Well presented and the complimentary foods were very gratefully received.

The deluge of rain on the Sunday was certainly annoying but obviously out of the owner’s control. Oh for a covered carport to load up on departure.

It was tranquil and beautiful. A great place to unwind and relax after a long day of travelling. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was beyond what we expected; not only inside but also the outside with the use of the hot tub overlooking green, rolling hills.

Room and bathroom were STUNNING! The hosts are incredible with their attention to detail and all the little extras. Hotel quality everything and more. Hot tub was a great bonus! View was amazing, complete with beanbags outside to enjoy. We had a wonderful mini-break thankyou!

The lock on our bedroom door didn't latch well and could be jiggled open from the hallway. But this was truly minor in the scheme of how awesome everything else was.

Everything about this accommodation was fantastic. The host wasn't there but made sure we had everything we needed.

Modern, clean, spectacular views, hot tub, little fridge in our room had lovely foods/drink to get us started in the morning, friendly host. Home had a really lovely “feel” to it.

Spectacular location watching the sunrise from the lodge was a great experience. All the facilities were right up to the mark, nothing had been overlooked! The view was breath-taking.

1. No one was there when we arrived 2. When we booked, we said 2 single beds and got a room with a double bed. The owner showed up and said I was supposed to email her?? Why is it my responsibility if the booking.com app asked me if I want 2 single beds or a double bed. 3. She arrived with her friend and had a chat at the car for a while before coming over. 4. She got the other room ready?? And said it's time for dome wine and left. 5. when we checked the bathroom, there was a used bottle of Tresseme, a used toothbrush, and tooth paste someone's knee braised a used bar of soap with hair on. Some women pads. I went to ask for a bag to put the stuff in she came to have a look and said, "Oh no, it stuff that's always stay in the drawer." 6. There were no indications where to park. I just got a message to say I had to move my car as there is another lady arriving with her son. 7. When the family arrived (which was a husband wife and kid), we had to greet them as there was no one else to greet them, and they asked us which room they would be staying in? 8. They were looking for normal drinking glasses, there weren't any, and told the lady to use a wine glass. 9. The kitchen area - the toaster area - were full of bread crumbs.. there were so many leftover foods I assume from other guests just everywhere. In the cupboards. 10. We were watching the TV and the other family was cooking their food that we had to go to our room as it was so loud we couldn't hear anything. 11. In the morning, the owner came over, Barley said morning. Didn't even greeted when we left. An hour after we left, she message to say she realized we left. 12. Received a message the next day looking for some cutlery. They way the message are portrayed, we stole her cutlery. I have no desire to take anything. This was the worst place I stayed and will definitely not recommend this place.

A beautiful home with panoramic views looking out the coast and surrounding countryside .

There was slight smell of puppy dog in the living room which to me took the shine off the other wise first class experience.

Great Host and beautiful home, it was a real bonus to be able to use the Kitchen and play games in the Lounge. Enjoyed the garden and BBQ area and the Hot Tub at night looking up at the stars.

The view was great and having lots of space was awesome. Loved the spa. The bed was very comfortable.

We didn’t know it was a shared facility, that was a surprise. But it was still private enough for what we needed.

Lovely room with stunning view out to Whangerei Head. The room was private with an en suite but there were others staying in the house. As I have traveled around NZ have found this to be a normal occurrence. Just not one I've come across before.

Jevon and Tracy were very welcoming and so helpful going above and beyond. The place is immaculate with all the amenities and lots of extras, like books, board games, puzzles, and playing cards. It is supreme luxury. Tracy has an eye for detail, and it's all those extra touches that make it so comfortable and homely.

The vote was beautiful. Great house - very clean and comfortable.

The house is new and had been fitted out to a high spec. There is a shared kitchen, dining and living space, where we got to meet some of the other guests. Outside there is a pizza oven, a covered bbq area, a hot tub and a fire pit and the views over the bay are incredible. The hosts are great, too.

Not that we didn't like it, but just to be aware that there are no food options within walking distance. There are some takeaways that deliver, though, if you want to stay in and enjoy the views.

Where to start? Fabulous location, beautiful huge comfortable room with divine linen powershower,comfort and pure luxury...little touches that mean everything when away from home, coffee, fresh milk in the fridge ,chocs on the pillow. Gorgeous common areas, barbecue pit, onside parking...its amazing!

Lovely clean room and facilities. Well equipped shared kitchen. Beautiful outlook. Nice touches in the room with a fruit bowl, yoghurt and extra supplies such as suntan lotion and insect repellent. Really lovely shower! Enjoyed time around the fire pit.

I only had 2 nites and I wish I had more time to stay longer - will hopefully make more time later. Ma te wa ano.

We had an incredible stay at this stylish and beautiful location. It's conveniently close to the beach, shops, and cafes, which made exploring the area a breeze. We originally planned to stay for just one night, but we loved it so much that we extended our getaway. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable escape!

Would like a heated room. The was heating on the social areas but not in the bedroom. At nighttime was freezing cold, even with curtains shoot. Fortunately, there were good blankets... Also, would like a hair dryer in the bathroom. Could not find any....
