Nice and clean, well behaved dogs apart from the peeing on my Tyre.

Privacy blinds would be great, as recommended by another also. As you are on full display anytime someone goes ides the driveway. Had to have curtains closed on that side the whole time for privacy. The views are blocked by the hedges, can only see them when standing. Woke me at 8am loading something on to the truck. Ride on mower going past room and kids riding up and down driveway. Towels rock hard and stiff like cardboard. If you want privacy this place definitely isn't for you.

This place is great with excellent facilities, has a great location being centrally positioned between Whangarei and Waipu Cove and has awesome views of the surrounding countryside. We used the bnb as a base for visiting family who live in the area. The owners have two lovely dogs who love a pat and will greet you on your arrival but also know they are not allowed inside your unit. Overall a great stay.

Beautiful place to stay in Ruakaka. We had a perfect one night stay. The unit was super comfortable and clean. The views are amazing and a great place to look at the stars. Coco and Loki the dogs were so cute and friendly. We would love to stay again!

Greetings from the 2 dogs 🐕 made it so comfortable. The unit was absolutely top class.

I couldn't get the hot plate to work. Probably me. No biggie, I used the microwave.

Great place to stay, beautiful views. A lot of effort and love was put into this place. You feel in a comfortable home instead of a cold hotel. Just a shame I couldn’t stay longer.

Un lugar encantador alejado de la carretera principal, a unos 800 metros; la familia vive en la propiedad; todo está impecable; una pequeña cocina para prepararse la comida o el desayuno; el amplio jardín ofrece vistas a la campiña con una espectacular puesta de sol y al mar con un amanecer espectacular. Was very hot on arrival as curtains & blinds open in direct sunlight, but I switched the air-conditioning on.

The unit was perfect for our short 1 night stay. Everything we needed was there, the location was perfect for us. The unit is nicely decorated with lovely furnishings, well planned layout for a small area, but plenty of space for two. We would definitely come back again and recommend to others for a peaceful relaxing stay. Did I mention the views? Awesome!

Really spacious room containing everything you could want. Nice little side kitchen with coffee machine and small container of ground coffee which we really appreciated. Good quality bed linen and great bathroom complete with all toiletries. We booked the same afternoon we stayed so very appreciative of the space. Were welcomed upon arrival which we appreciated as we were very tired. Bad weather so we couldn’t really see the view that others referred to. The lovely dogs also deserve a mention.

Stunning view, I had a great stay. Room with private bathroom and ensuite kitchen was nice and clean. Host was very helpful and friendly. The place is part of ranch style house, but separated by a locked door. I highly recommend.

We had a very nice and relaxing stay. Beautiful accomodations. We met the owner of the property and he was a pleasure to talk to. The highlight of our stay was meeting Coco & Loki. They were very sweet and well mannered dogs. We recommend it to all.

Amazing views from every window. Warm and private space. Sat outside on the patio for breakfast soaking up the sun. Close to Ruakākā beach - great for short or long walks.

Private and very relaxing with 180 degree views from the hill, watch the sunrise and sunset! Nicely laid out, great bed and 2 very friendly dogs to keep you company. Ruakaka & Uretiti Beaches, Waipu & Piroa Falls all nearby. A great place to stay if you heading up north from AKL or coming down from up north.

Quiet and great location

The location was perfect for our night away. There were some breakfast cereals provided which was appreciated, thank you.

I did notice that the instant coffee had dried up and the tea bags in the wooden box hadn't been replenished.

Large room great kitchen facilities and friendly dogs

Comfy king bed and wonderful walkin shower. Beautiful views with rising and setting sun. Quiet and restful after a busy week travelling. Hosts young sons assisted me by opening the gate(2 friendly dogs greet you) and carrying in my bags for me.

Breakfast was very basic with Weetbix and cereal bowls so high that access was difficult. There was a box for a selection of teas, however no teas and 1 sugar sachet. I could not reach the coffee jar on the cupboards top shelf, however it looked like it was almost empty. Fortunate that I had brought some tea and coffee with me. Have stayed some time ago and overall I felt this time it did not match the previous high standard

Great location looking out over Bream Bay to Whangarei Heads. Quiet. Excellent host who reconnected me to my forgotten charger, friendly pets. Couldn’t ask for more for a stay.
