Reviewed May 2, 2026Beds and Pillows were very comfortable. Great job. My only comment would be that just a few things in toilet could have upgraded it. The shower net is not really sanitary and a little gross to think of someone else having used it. A squeege would help you to maintain shower better. Water from shower comes out the bottom a good bit. Small upgrade to shampoo/bath wash would have a better look. But great overall.

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026About the nicest surprise of this Trip. The two rooms have the size of an Apartment rather than a Hotel room. The beds were very good, and so were linen and towels. The Kitchen had everything I needed, including a induction field (which cooked our soup nicely).

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026Helles und freundliches Zimmer. Da ich allein gereist bin, hatte ich nur Zugang zu dem Hauptraum mit Küche und dem Badezimmer. Die Küche war für meine Zwecke ausreichend, auch wenn ich als kleine Person nur schwer an das Geschirr im hohen Wandschrank heran kam.
Mir war nicht bewusst, dass es sich um ein kleines Apartment angrenzend an ein Haupthaus mitten in einem Wohngebiet handelt. Das habe ich bei der Buchung offenbar überlesen. Damit habe ich ein wenig wie ein „Fremdkörper“ gefühlt, weil ich nicht wusste ob die Vermieter direkt nebenan wohnen oder ob die direkten Nachbarn nicht die Vermieter sind. Durch die Verbindungstür zum Haupthaus drangen auch Geräusche, was mich aber nicht weiter beeinträchtigt hat.

Reviewed Oct 26, 2025This wee lodge was perfectly located for our granddaughter's 1st birthday. The wee lodge was immaculately clean, super comfortable, and so quiet. The Pukekohe and her four babies were beautiful and we enjoyed watching them go about their day. Our hosts were amazing. Their communication was consistent and even organised for my jacket I left behind to be dropped off at my son and daughter in laws to be returned. We highly recommend Logies Lodge to everyone travelling to the coastal town of Ruakaka. Thank you so much for an amazing stay.

Close to beaches, shops supermarket New World short drive away. View is lovely too. Just what I needed to get away for a peaceful couple days off. Thank you 😀

Arriving at night in the rain difficult to see the lockbox numbers; a little bottle of milk would have been great (I travel often, so had my own); espresso machine but no capsules, 1 or 2 would have been helpful; wash-dry-put away dishes but no tea towel only wash cloth.

Reviewed Mar 14, 2025We stayed 2 nights previously and liked the property so much that we returned for a night on our way back down south. It was well presented, had good cooking and bathroom facilities, and the owners were very helpful.
The bedside lamp doesn’t always switch on. On our 2nd visit, there were several flies in the rooms - the property would benefit from more fly screens.

Sharing the same wall with the host…, I could hear them a little bit, nothing major and I kept reminding my boys to keep the voice low.

The location was a little disappointing, no outlook from the apartment, no privacy in the apartment unless the curtains were closed i.e. no blinds or nets on ranch slider. No easy chair - only bed or dining chairs. I would have preferred the bed further away from the ranch slider/entry. No luggage rack. - bedspread/cover is white - but able to use 2 spare chairs in wardrobe for bags.
