Omina Hotel & Travel

I stayed at Omina Hotel & Travel from 6 to 12.08.26, location-wise it’s quite central-ish, north-west of the Old Quarter, in a very busy area full of shops of all types and restaurants. There's a small Circle K just next to the hotel on the corner. On arrival, in the late evening, I was warmly greeted by the reception duo Wayne & Tom, who were very friendly and made me feel welcome. The reception is open 24h. My bedroom (301) was spacious, same thing for the bathroom, which had a very spacious shower. The room had a slightly outdated feeling but I didn’t mind, it was clean to a good standard. It was equipped with the super necessary air con, fridge (very useful), safety box, TV with YouTube & Netflix and a kettle with some coffee sachets and local style tea sachets. Excellent comfy bed. There was a handy shelf in the room on which to lay the suitcase without it taking up space on the floor. The included breakfast had sweet and savoury options, and fruit as well. You can also order from the menu, for example an omelette or some noodles, that they prepare for you in the kitchen there and then, the portions were good, unfortunately I’m hardly ever too hungry in the morning and only took advantage of this option on two occasions, but it’s a great option nonetheless. All the receptionists were very cool to talk to, I also arranged two excursions (Ninh Binh and Lan Ha Bay) with Vivian, she was very professional and it was a pleasure dealing with her. I would definitely stay here again, well done to all you guys, Wayne, Tom, Victor, Vivian & Lina (not their real names)!!!

On my 1st morning, at around 8:00, I could hear drilling and banging, on enquiring with reception I was told they were doing some works in the building next door, the receptionist apologized, but it was nothing to do with the hotel, it was just annoying that whoever was working next door couldn’t wait until later in the morning at a more acceptable time. At around the same time, the cleaners were doing the room opposite mine across the corridor, it appeared the new hotel guests were late as they had a delay with their flight etc., so instead of arriving the previous night they were due to come in the morning, I didn’t find this a good excuse for the cleaners to make noise and talk to each other in the corridor at such an early time, disrespectful to other people who might still be sleeping. No noises during the following mornings. There were no hooks at all in the bathroom on which to hang towels, this is inexplicably a quite common thing in many hotels, there was a towel bar on the external side of the shower door, but in my opinion this is not enough, a hook rack could easily be installed on the wall by the shower. The kettle couldn’t be closed properly, the lid is defective, please management look into this, there’s a scolding risk as the lid opens while you are pouring the boiling water into the cups.

La situation au centre du vieux quartier permet de se promener, de prendre un café, de manger bref de vivre. Chaque jour j'allais à pied jusqu'au lac en centre ville et le soir prenais un verre sur un rooftop à des dizaines d'étages de , tout autour du lac. Et ce qui ne gâte rien le dong est tellement sous évalué par rapport à l'Euro que je me faisais masser quelquefois deux fois dans la même journée.

The staff were AMAZING! Christina, Vivian and Niko were so attentive during my stay, they provided a packed up breakfast for me when I was off early for a day trip, and helped me with my bags for the airport. They kept checking in with me during the stay, and were so friendly every time I passed the desk. The room was really comfortable and had a clean bathroom. Location was so amazing!!

I stayed at beautiful hotel with a good location,a good price,a good food, a good staffs and clean rooms every day. Thank you so much during my stay always small talks was very comforting and helpful to know safe travel. It was night market on Fri, Sat and Sun were near the hotel. Walking distances to get a landmarks.

A pesar de estar en pleno centro me dieron una habitación que daba a la zona interior, y además me dieron una habitación mejor por el mismo precio. Si buscas una hotel tranquilo, céntrico y con buena relación calidad-precio este es tu hotel. Reseñable la limpieza y el trato de Vivian de recepción.

Lo ofrecido por lo pagado no tengo ninguna queja.

Bed was super comfy I had great sleep here!! Location incredible and staff were amazing especially Victor who welcomed me in late and gave me recommendations for a late dinner and where to find things. Breakfast was also very good and you can choose an item off the menu. Water refilled every day. I chose a back room as was quieter and I was glad of this after travelling a lot

The restaurant was quite warm perhaps better aircon or fans to improve

The staff was very polite, smiling and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, big enough for two people. The breakfast was also good, with a wide variety of warm dishes. The position was perfect, very central with a lot to see walk distance. We really enjoyed our stay.

スタッフ全員がフレンドリー、翻訳機を適切に、有効に使い対応してくれた。チェックイン時から、細やかな心遣いにビックリ、その後も突然の雷雨、移動手段を迅速に手配、予定どおり人形劇がみられた。朝食もうまい、配膳、片付けの動作も美しい。一人旅にとって、心暖まる家族に出会えた。

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und generell ausnahmslos sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man ist fußläufig schnell an allen interessanten Punkten im Old Quarter. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist klein aber fein, aber zum essen sind wir nicht ins Hotel gekommen.

Der einzige minimale Kritikpunkt ist, dass es morgens schon sehr früh sehr hell im Zimmer wurde, da die Jalousien des kleinen Fensters nicht sehr dicht sind. Aber das hat unseren Aufenthalt nicht verschlechtert!

La meraviglia di questo hotel è uno staff sorridente, gentile e pronto ad accogliere e soddisfare ogni esigenza parlando un ottimo inglese. Una menzione speciale a Wayne, il top ! Struttura centrale, in pieno old quarter ma allo stesso tempo silenziosa.Pulizia superiore alla media, box doccia presente. Apprezzata la presenza di accappatoio oltre che asciugamani. Servizio lavanderia velocissimo (dalla mattina alla sera), colazione ricca. Consigliatissimo!

My partner and I had an amazing stay here. Originally booked for 3 nights but extended to 4 because we enjoyed it so much! The bed is very comfortable and the room is very clean. The breakfast was very delicious! The standout feature is definitely the staff. They were extremely attentive and all go out of their way to make you feel at home. Mr Wayne along with the rest of the caring staff were very responsive and made us feel very comfortable :) Would absolutely stay here again!

We have travelled in Vietnam for almost two months and we were very pleased with the hotel and decided to extend the booking. With the location in the old town, the rooms were not the biggest, but they were nice, clean, good A/C and with a comfortable bed. What stood out especially was the hotel staff, they made us feel seen and helped in every way they could. They even invited our sons for an escape room experience one afternoon. They greeted us by our names and we would have loved to bring the staff with us to all our future hotel stays. Breakfast was solid with a combination of a buffet and one complimentary dish every day. You find the best Pho in Vietnam in the small cafe at the right corner just after “Banh Mi 25”. All in all - I highly recommend to stay at this hotel.

The hotel is located very conveniently in the Old Quarter. The room was spacious enough for a solo traveler, comfortable bed and pillows. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was kept exceptionally clean and towels were exchanged every day. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and I would definitely book this hotel again!

El hotel está muy bien situado en el Old Quarter de Hanói: todos sus principales puntos de interés quedan a menos de 15 minutos a pie y, aun así, se encuentra en una calle relativamente tranquila. La habitación era confortable y el desayuno, más que digno. Pero lo verdaderamente excepcional es el equipo humano. Desde el check-in hasta el check-out, todo fueron agilidad, cordialidad, amabilidad y profesionalidad. Es un equipo joven y entregado, siempre atento al confort y la satisfacción de sus huéspedes. Un 10. Cuando vuelva a Hanói, repetiré sin ninguna duda.

Sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Personal, perfekte Lage in der Altstadt, sauberes Zimmer. Wir haben kostenloses Upgrade bekommen, zu einem Zimmer mit Fenster, was in Altstadt von Hanoi sehr schwer zu finden ist. Die Rezeption ist 24/7 da, was sehr praktisch ist wenn man spät abends zurückkommt und noch offene Fragen hätte. Übrigens gibt es sehr günstigen Flughafentransfer vom Hotel, egal welche Uhrzeit. Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis, gerne wieder.

La habitación doble de dos camas no está tan reformada como las dobles de una cama (o eso suponemos por las fotos y comentarios previos). Es decir, está un poco mas vieja que en las fotos y es un poco pequeña para 2.

The location and staff. The staff were very kind to show us all the tourist attractions as well as help with directions whenever required. The location was a perfect since it was centrally located to all the places we visited.

観光できるスポットがどこも近かった。トレインストリートは2回も行きました。近くにスパやレストランもたくさんあり、割と口コミ高めのところが多いのでどこへ行こうか悩むほどでした。 ホテルの居心地は最高で、コンパクトなお部屋でしたが、毎日綺麗にお掃除していただき、気持ちよく滞在できました。 そして、賑やかな場所にあるのにお部屋はとても静かでぐっすり眠れました。 朝ごはんは少しのビュッフェと、出来立ての何か一品を選ぶことができます。３泊したのでフォーとサンドイッチと目玉焼きを食べることができましたが、どれもとても美味しかったです。そしてみなさんおっしゃってますが、スタッフさんがみんな笑顔で、下の名前を呼んで出迎えてくれたり、今日はどうだった？と尋ねてくれたり、ホントに素晴らしい仕事ぶりでした。なんとも言えない温かい気持ちになりました。 ホントに楽しかったです。ありがとうございました。

The location, in the middle of the old town , The staff were very nice and welcoming, they upgraded my room for free.

Truly exceptional staff. Everyone is super polite and helpful. They even memorize names of every guest before the arrival and every time you walk past they acknowledge you by name, asking how you're doing. Breakfast is really good. It's very clean. The bed is very soft. We got sick on the flight over so we asked not to come in and clean, and every day the staff would leave us water and fresh towels at the door. They also arranged very affordable transfer for us to Ha Long. Can't say enough about the service. The room might be small but that's how all hotels are in Old Town Hanoi, especially on such a budget. We were very happy with everything and can't thank them enough

Voto 10 a tutto lo staff che ci ha aiutato enormemente a coordinarci con l areoporto di Hanoi per i nostri bagagli che erano stati lasciati dalla compagnia allo scalo di Shanghai. Il resto va in secondo piano, con persone così il posto non può che meritare un voto altissimo.

The staff are amazing at this hotel and they know you by name. The breakfast is delicious and the location is very good. Not all the rooms have windows, so keep this in mind when booking.
