The inclusions in kitchen not great pots were dirty and lacking in utensils, the washing machine had a hardened blob of powder stuck in it no rinseaid in dishwasher. The aluminium windows condensated in all bedrooms.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2026Each bedroom had its own ensuite bathroom. 2 bedrooms were upstairs & 1 downstairs. Beds & pillows were comfortable. Showers hot & good water pressure. Parking directly in front was fantastic. Location was about a 15-20 minute walk to central Christchurch but the new stadium is very close.
Having a washer/dryer was great but the drying cycle was between 2-3 hours & could not be interrupted. Door wouldn’t open & there were no instructions for shortening the drying time.

The heat pump is located downstairs. The two upstairs bedrooms were probably 10 degrees hotter than the downstairs area. As you walked up the stairs, the heat hit you. The upstairs cannot be insulated. The person sleeping in the downstairs bedroom was fine. Those sleeping upstairs, even with the very welcome fans in the rooms, got very little sleep. So, in the hottest months, not somewhere Id recommend. In the cooler month, it would be a great place to stay.

Reviewed Oct 11, 2025Really good value for money and so comfy, everyone had their own bathroom, functional kitchen, easy to use appliances and still walkable to good cafes. The host was easy to contact and acted straight away with any requests.
Only issue is the two seater couch, squeezing in another comfy chair might be good.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2025Really convenient location within walking distance to city centre. Host was great when we had a couple of issues getting in to the property, responded and fixed everything really quickly. Property had everything we needed on site and was really warm.
We did find some rubbish from previous guests under the beds. Perhaps a quick check going forward.
