We were in a Hotel King Studio..A very small room..Probably suitable for 1 person..No room to move..

Location yo town qas excellent as was the coffee shop next door and eatery across the road

The room was very hot

Efficiently laid out junior suite. We liked the kitchen room and the balcony.

It was a little small but we were out exploring Christchurch.

It is central, quiet and well maintained.

Heating not working and when asked about the issue the next morning I think they supplied a fan heater. I say think as no message sent or left in room. Not ideal for the night as very noisy

Great location, just park and walk everywhere in chch centre. Hotel is modern, warm, clean and tidy. Beds are comfortable.

Was easy to find, compact little place

Parking and when a game is on at the stadium, even worse, so went for a drive until after 10pm then found a park next door.

room size & location & having 2 rooms close together were ideal for our family's stay

Room 6 & 7 was noisy with the door & stairwell next door to room 7 & early morning rubbish truck. We feel that double glazing could overcome this

Great location - close to lots of eating places, the tram, the stadium. Super Clean and comfy bed, excellent value for money!

We were in room 7 and it was very noisy, double glazing the windows would probably solve this problem

Southwark is in a fabulous central city location. Only a short walk to the main shopping area/Riverside Market/Stadium. We were in Apartment 1 which is very spacious. The kitchen is well appointed. The cafe next door (Unknown Chapter) has fabulous food and coffee. Little High Eatery directly over the road offers multiple food options in an inside market setting.

Apartment 1 is on the second floor on a road that gets very busy at peak times. The road frontage is floor to ceiling windows so it can be noisy.

Location is great, rooms are clean and modern.

We have stayed a few times in the first building this time we stayed in the second, the room was nicer but there was no lift

Fourth stay at Southwark. Spacious rooms comfortable lounge, spacious bathroom and shower. Nice water pressure in shower, better than others. Was able to extend stay by a day easily with online communication

The room was not huge because you’re in the middle of a city, but you are in the middle of a city. Reserve your parking space, and you will have a wonderful time here. Park your car and walk everywhere because you’re in the middle of it. It was clean. The staff were efficient and friendly, and it was great value.

We were in an executive apartment, really dont think it should be called that, there was an adjoining door to the room next door and we could hear everything. The people next door were talking so loud and tv loud and we're making a huge amount of noise and we had to ring reception to complain, in their defense they did go to the room next door and sort the noise complaint quickly.

So beautiful and clean. High quality property for the price. Very central easy to walk everywhere. Could not fault it

The wall charger next to the bed didn’t charge my phone (others worked just not this one) Other than that I could not fault it, stay was amazing!

kalte Bude, nur einfach verglastes Fenster hinter dem Bett. Zum Glück gab's einen Heizlüfter. Im Bad müffelt es aus den Gullys. Das Fenster ging zum Parkplatz und dem Weg zur Rezeption, reger Publikumsverkehr mit bestem Einblick ins Zimmer. Parkplätze. gegen Gebühr oder auf der Strasse, abends allesvoll.

This apartment was lovely and spacious, was really clean and in an excellent location for exploring the city on foot. Was an easy walk to the Botanic Gardens and Riverside Markets for dinner. Also a bonus that there's a great cafe right next door for breakfast and coffee.

The elevators a bit of a tight squeeze if you have large luggage.

This property was perfect! So close to everything, spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Lounges are not very comfortable for short people

Staff were great, they were able to extend our stay by an extra night due to bad weather. We were meant to journey to Lake Tekapo but the staff kindly offered to extend our stay at our pre-booked rate and we were also already offered a complimentary upgrade. The shower water pressure was also excellent!

Parking was scarce but that's understandable given the central location.

Handy location in Christchurch CBD and across the courtyard to Little High eatery complex.

Being in the CBD on a Saturday night we were kept awake until the early hours by thumping music in the vicinity.

Comfortable bed and spacious room for 1 person. The kitchenette was super handy and everything you need for a couple of nights. Very well located in the cbd without any outside noise in the room. Staff at reception were very friendly and polite.

We loved that it was so close to town. The pricing was great. Bed was comfy and pillows good. Everything was nice and clean.

I didn't like having to climb over my partner to get out of bed. Although the bed was big enough, it was butted up against the window and was an awkward position. Good for a single person that wants room to roll around but probably not for a couple.

I loved that we could change rooms as we didn't book the right apartment. I also love how easy it was to go to the front desk and ask for this. The initial greeting was great too. I also loved how close it was to everything!!

The room's wifi was very slow especially in the evening. I couldn't really watch the Warriors game as it kept lagging. People walking up the stairs it did not happen often but when it did it was loud.

My request to put us on the ground floor was granted and the kitchen was big with sala set..

This place is very central, immaculately clean and modern. The staff were extremely helpful letting us drop our bags off early and helping with a mini sewing kit. Very friendly too!

The room was much larger then expected, which made it feel homely. Not a cramped up hotel room. The view looking out of the room was lovely.

The room wasn't clean, and I was itching for the first two to three nights, which made me concerned about hygiene. Despite booking a quiet room, it was extremely noisy at night due to thin walls

For the price Southwark was exceptional. The room was small (as expected from the description when we booked) but clean, quiet & comfortable with good facilities, comfy bed & a great shower. Love that it had a kitchenette & microwave. Great location right in town (only 2 blocks from the stadium) & a very easy walk to the supermarket & a great variety of eateries. We dealt with four receptionists during our two night stay & they were all really friendly & helpful. Parking onsite is limited (costs $15 a night & you need to book in advance to be assured of a spot), but there's also free overnight street parking & several public parks in the block that start from $8 a night. We really enjoyed our wee holiday in the city :)

Mooi ruim appartement, modern met propere meubels en badkamer. Net ernaast een heel leuk ontbijtrestaurant. Supermarkten en restaurants op wandelafstand. 's Morgens liet ik de afwas staan om 's avonds na mijn afspraken op te ruimen en was al telkens al gedaan.

Er is een keuken, maar er kan niet 'gekookt' worden. Microgolf en waterkoker ter beschikking. Voor de rest alles in orde.

Large room with comforatable separate lounge. Well appointed, kitchette was good with mircrowave, fridge and everything you needed. The bedroom itself does not have windows but there are glass doors to the lounge where the front windows are which can be closed off with curtains if you want. Room has plenty of space especially for two people. We have stayed here multiple times because of the location. Just a short walk to the central city, Christchurch's best and most efficient cafe (Unkown Chapter) is on site (don't be put off by the crowds they have super efficient service). Across the road is another Christchurch gem Little High.

No complaints would be nice if they had sky sport as the all blacks were on when we were there or if you could cast to the TV easily from your own device.
