Very comfortable and close to town. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is outstanding and the restaurant is out of this world.

Walking distance to cbd and the many cafes and restaurants

Location and food. Had the best burger ever.

Room wasn’t clean with marks on carpet and glass on pictures were smudgy

Good distance from town. Walked everywhere around Christchurch. Beautiful open space over the road.

Showers leaked leaving bathroom mat soaked and floors very wet therefore very dangerous.

It is so close to town, the restaurant and bar and amazing. It has parking and the rooms are a really good size.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were very helpful. the atmosphere was great.

I was disappointed that there was only one price for breakfast. $42.50 was a lot. I am not a big eater and it would have been nice to have had a cheaper option. There was no filter coffee so I got an espresso which I had to pay extra for.

Great location and very good breakfast. Hospitality staff were outstanding.

Our room only had one towel for the two of us and the bedside light wasn't working. Called housekeeping and reception multiple times around 7.30am but neither answered. In general we found the hotel staff very disengaged.

Limited parking in the area and having to pay for the Hotel parking was excessive.

Being charged for parking as a staying guest is a bit greedy. Already paid top $ to stay there. Bit tight latimer. Shame on you.

Thought our room was a little tired. Inner curtain ripped. Armchairs uncomfortable. Obvious room was missing a bed. Kettle needs replacing: limescale & didn’t seem to switch off. Cups low quality, glad we took our own. Toiletries motel standard.

Loved the location

I was disappointed about the 3pm check in and the $25 charge if you want a 2pm check in.

Location was perfect for my needs. The staff where very helpful and friendly.

Not enough milk in the room fridges. I used 4 pottles of milk per coffee. Otherwise I had no other problems.

Great location very comfortable rooms.

Car park cost a bit expensive

We were disappointed as an obvious corporate event was on and it seemed your regular customers were pretty much ignored during this time. We ordered a drink during happy hour and were charged full price even after questioning it. Then we were shown to a side area with no atmosphere and shown the side door to exit.. we have stayed with you previously and were treated better.

Service, kind and sociable. We arrived late as we had to get a rental vehical, so it was around 11pm when we drove in. The person at the counter was very empathetic, I appreciated his smile and small talk, it helped after the stress of flying and then having to wait extra time to get our rental car.

It would have been nice to see some greenery in the court area, it just looks so hard without it. There were small hedges, but that was about it.

Having to pay for car parking

We were upgraded to a larger room. The bed was very comfortable & amenities were good.

We had difficulty turning the tv on & off even after calling reception & getting a technician to help. He also had trouble and returned with new batteries. Eventually it did load but the problem still continued. We managed to turn it on the morning we left but had to leave it on as we were unable to turn it off again.

The staff on reception and in the restaurant were exceptional.

Toilet roll was empty on the holder. There was a spare though.

We have stayed here many times. We like the location

The restaurant is massively overpriced. The room we got was really basic even though we supposedly were upgraded.

I choose it because it had off street parking but because it is hired out both nights I had to drive around until I found a park on the street.

Convenient location

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and the heat pump was extremely noisy. Parking was extremely expensive and no off street parking meant there was no other option but to pay the $29 per day fee. Which on a 5 night stay was expensive

The location was convenient. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very willing to help in anyway they could and they did with a parking issue that we faced.

It's in a great location, especially handy for the new stadium. It also has a very good bar, work good live music and lots of TVs to watch sport.

The hotel has very old TVs and you cannot connect to them in any way which was a bit annoying.

Location to stadium and city.

Breakfast was cold and had to ask for poached eggs.

Close to town centre

It was a bit of a mix-up with keys, but the staff were nice and fixed it up. Paying for parking was a bit much.

Beautiful room, very clean and comfortable, in a great location, close to the city center and next to a lovely park. Staff at the reception were very welcoming and helpful.

Food order took 2.5hrs, as they forgot my order twice and then finally it came up. When checking out I had to repeat my issue with front desk at least 5 times until the manager can and then I had to repeat again! The lady didn’t understand me and then she didn’t even acknowledge the problem it was very odd Sofa cushions were uncomfortable or not enough
