Reviewed Dec 17, 2024I stayed at "A Home Away From Home" at La Serene with a team of five people, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The property is ideal for group stays, and we were all very comfortable throughout our time there. A special shoutout to our amazing host, Maria, who made our stay extra special. She was incredibly welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed, including a smooth check-in and helpful tips for exploring the area. Her hospitality truly elevated our experience. The accommodation was spacious and well-appointed, perfect for a group like ours. We especially loved the private swimming pool and the barbecue set, which allowed us to relax and enjoy outdoor meals together. These added features made our stay even more enjoyable and gave us some great moments as a team. The peaceful location in Discovery Bay provided a quiet escape from the busy city, yet it was still close enough to visit Hong Kong’s main attractions. The views of the surrounding nature and sea were stunning, and the tranquility of the area made it the perfect retreat. If you’re planning a trip to Hong Kong, whether as a group or family, I highly recommend "A Home Away From Home" at La Serene. The combination of excellent amenities, beautiful surroundings, and Maria’s warm hospitality made our stay unforgettable. I’d definitely love to return! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Transportation a bit tricky.You need to take a bus number 5 to go to DB Plaza & change to Ferry to go to Central Pier number 3 or another bus to DB North where the only place Taxi or Uber allowed.At first,you might be feel its complicated,after you recognised the route,it will become easier.Even to the airport you can take a bus from DB Plaza.
