Cozy and quiet

J'ai aimé l'accueil exceptionnel de Justin et de son équipe. La chambre est très confortable et près de la White beach. Un peu éloigné du centre d'Alona et c'est très bien pour s'écarter de la foule. Justin est disponible pour vous organiser des sorties à Balicasag et dans l'île de Bohol. J'avais réservé pour 3 jours et j'y suis restée 10 jours. Petit déjeuner complet tous les matins.

Absolutely fantastic staff! Justin went above and beyond in offering to drop you places, which was really helpful especially in rainy season. Great conversations were had along the way. Actually, the entire staff were fantastic, kind and helpful. I loved the daily breakfasts, often being offered fresh coconut from the tree. Nothing but good vibes were to be had. Loved the location, this was a sweet humble tropical place away from tacky Alona beach. Easy access to White and Dumaluan beaches (much better than Alona). Yes the rooms are small - that's just how it is. It's worth it for the price. The AC was really fine and appropriate (very important!). Comfortable bed. Clean. I was really pleased I picked this place.

Rooms are small - that can't be helped. There are shelves and places provided in the room to put belongings which helps. I spent 5 nights here and coped very well with this. Not a big issue.

We absolutely LOVED Gloria’s! It was such a cozy stay and it truly felt like home. With such a beautiful design and atmosphere, it was a peaceful oasis. Waking up to complimentary breakfast amongst all the plants was a joy. The proximity to the beach was unmatched. You can’t go wrong with White Beach and what made everything even easier was the free shuttle provided by Gloria’s. It helped us not only get to the beach, but to the main town to Alona! We are so thankful to have stayed here with such lovely people on staff who took care of us so well and we will miss our time here and hope to come back!

There are two separate sets of rooms, located a few minutes apart down the road, both of which are well appointed and well run. Our room was very clean (and I am fussy) and the bed was comfortable with two sets of pillows. The bathroom was very clean and the shower hot with good pressure. Nothing was too much for Justin and his team. They answered all our questions and went out their way to assist. We really appreciated Tita’s warmth and good cooking. She arranged for our washing to be done (150 pesos for a load, and it came back spotless, folded neatly and smelling amazing). It was my husbands birthday while we were there and everyone helped arrange a surprise for him. Justin arranged a fabulous mango cake which was delicious! There is water you can refill your bottles for free. We always take earplugs when travelling in Asia because of noise at night, and even though it was very quiet at night, there was one rooster that got his timings wrong, so we had to use the earplugs. Par for the course in Asia. There is a shop a stones throw away where you can get provisions of beer and bread rolls etc. There is also a local restaurant that serves the most amazing home cooked Filipino food and it is very cheap. We never paid more than $15AUD for a huge meal for two people including drinks. We had a scooter for getting around on but there are plenty of tuk tuks and other options for transport.

Kahvia sai pyytäessä toisenkin kupin. Majoittaja oli todella avulias ja antoi vinkkejä ruokapaikoista ja aktiviteeteistä. Hyödynsimme vinkkejä erityisesti ravintoloiden suhteen ja ne olivat hyviä vinkkejä. Majoittaja oli helppo tavoittaa whatsappin välityksellä. Majoittaja tarjosi kyydin lentokentältä majoitukseen sekä järjesti naapurin kaverin viemään meidät seuraavaan kohteeseen Boholilla. Huone on pieni, mutta pärjäsimme emmekä kaivanneet sinänsä lisää tilaa. Majoitus hieman kaukana Panglaon keskustasta, mutta skootterilla pääsee nopeasti tai voit pyytää heiltä kyydin. Etäisyys vilkkaampaan keskustaan oli meille hyvä valinta sillä arvostamme rauhallista majapaikkaa ja hyviä yöunia. Heiltä sai vuokrattua skootterin 400 pesoa/päivä.

Property was very cosy, akin to staying in a cabin with its own verandah in a mini complex of neighbours. Facilities all did the job. Some tiny insects crawling round but expected in this climate. Breakfast included which made up eggs cooked to your preferred method, a pancake/ bread, and stir fried veg and a choice of drink. Very thoughtfully, Hannah and the staff packaged me a lunch when breakfast was too early to stomach and I had to dash early. If you can though, I would recommend taking breakfast in the communal seating area since it is is such a tranquil setting and affords beautiful views of the flowers and palm trees. Justin, our host, was the best host you could possibly dream of. Accommodating to the nth degree, he laid out the extent to which him and his staff go to provide the utmost comfort and ultimate experience in Bohol. Providing free pick-up and drop-off within a 7-8km radius, this gem of a bonus was perfect for a female solo traveller like me. Since he was responsive and punctual at the drop of a hat, I felt relaxed enough to be out in the evening without fear of getting back to the hotel. His approach being personalised, meant that I got the recommendations tailored to what I wanted. His plethora of gastronomic wisdom was shared, local restaurants along with the busier spots. I only wish I made more use of this fantastic list. Justin is a very personable, kind, interesting and generous person too, which makes every car journey with him a fun one. The location was perfect for me. Out of the overstimulating Alona beach area but still within walking distance to the better beach in my opinion; White beach which continues as Dumulae beach meaning you avoid the crowds. Thank you Justin and co for this unique stay. Beats a characterless resort any day.

A minor minor thing which did not trouble me in the least, but occasionally an animal (I suppose a cat perhaps) would jump onto a roof above my hut with a crashing sound to send a shudder through me but after the first time, I became quite accustomed to my friend’s sporting routine.

Wow! Wow! This place was amazing. The staff went above and beyond during our entire stay. Justin (the owner) personally introduced himself to us and shared a great list of recommendations. Ray (the driver) dropped us off at the bus station and made sure we got on the right bus to our next destination. The breakfast was delicious and there were multiple options to choose from. Rooms were gorgeous, and overall, highly recommend this wonderfel gem!

We arrived very early but the owner allowed us to stay straightaway to our rooms! The place is very clean, green and aesthetically designed for an out-of-town, vacation feel! The staff are all polite and accommodating. Free pick up from the airport and drop off too! Free drop off to the beach 🙏🏻

It was a gorgeous property in a peaceful location surrounded by nature. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. Free breakfast was a bonus and Justin went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

It was a bit far away from the main area but they offered free shuttles wherever you wanted to go which was amazing.

Le logement est au calme par rapport à Alona. À 17 mn à pied de la plus belle plage de l’île. Le petit déjeuner est varié et correct. Le personnel est extrêmement serviable et arrangeant. Ils proposent un système de navette gratuit pour vous amener au restaurant.

Il y a parfois le bruit des chats et chiens. La salle de bain est modeste et la chambre petite.

Pulizia e staff molto disponibile. Jastin, il proprietario gentilissimo Un servizio navetta gratuito per Alona e aereoporto. La spiaggia più bella dista circa un km dalla struttura. Bagno con doccia calda. Colazione buona.

Camera un po’ piccola, ma per soggiornare qualche notte va bene.

Uns hat alles gefallen! Es war super schön diese Unterkunft zu haben! Alle Mitarbeiter waren immer sehr lieb zu uns und Justin hat uns bei diversen Sachen geholfen.. Von Empfehlungen geben bis hin zu transportieren war alles dabei. Ein absolut hilfsbereites Team. Justin nahm sich auch gerne die Zeit sich mit uns kurz zu unterhalten. Zum Ende hin haben wir eine Kleinigkeit im Zimmer vergessen und habe mir winen kleinen Witz erlaubt und sein Humor ist Klasse!

Everything was great bed, tv, shower, air conditioning, laundry for a small fee they even provided free shuttle service which is a big plus.Justin and his staff will take care of your needs. I stayed in the Philippines for thirty days seven different islands, Gloria’s was the best.

Can’t think of anything i didn’t like everything was great if I have to nitpick on anything it would be a larger portion of meat for breakfast but that only because it was so good I could’ve had it three times a day breakfast meal was top notch.

L’esperienza di soggiorno è stata inaspettatamente molto superiore alle aspettative, sorprendendoci molto in positivo. La struttura è molto pratica, ben arredata, e semi immersa nella natura, in pratica ha tutto quello che serve per il tipo di esperienza che ricerca chi prenota questo tipo di hotel. La posizione è comoda perché si trova a 12 minuti di scooter dal centro di Alona, il quale é un vantaggio se si vuole stare lontano dalla ressa. Inoltre si trova vicino a quella che a mio parere è la spiaggia più bella dell’isola, white beach. Lo staff è super accogliente e accomodante verso tutte le richieste che gli vengono fatte (ma proprio tutte), in special modo il mitico Justin (gestore) che è una persona fantastica. In pratica consigliatissimo! La posizione

Personale molto accogliente e gentile. Prima di tutto sono venuti a prenderci in aeroporto e poi l'host Justin era estremamente disponibile nel dare consigli su dove andare, dove mangiare e nell'organizzare tour giornalieri per noi. La struttura è poco distante dalla cittadina principale ma il personale ti accompagna comunque in auto. Volendo tramite la struttura si può noleggiare anche motorini. La camera e il bagno avevano dimensioni giuste ed erano molto puliti. L'aria condizionata funzionava alla perfezione.

Justin is a fantastic host! The way he made us feel at home and helped us throughout our stay was truly amazing. The flat is small but cosy and equipped with everything you need, even a television with a Netflix account already set up.

Everything was perfect, I would just add a few sweet options to the breakfast for us Italians who are not used to eating savoury foods in the morning.

The hospitality being offered by our host, Justin and the team was exceptional. They are trying their best to help the customer for a seamless trouble free stay in Bohol. The room was clean and good for us. We love it.

As with many places, there can be outside noise at night or early in the morning that might disturb lighter sleepers.

Justin, the host and his staff were really accommodating. The property was really beautiful and feels like a holiday home. Pick up and drop shuttle for airport and panglao city is pure kindness and make up for the location. Breakfast was amazing and available anytime during the day.

Camera privata con terrazzino piccola ma accogliente, pulitissima e profumata. Colazione ottima preparata al momento. Staff super gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Justin host magnifico, ci ha prenotato un tour in barca e dato che volevamo noleggiare lo scooter si è preoccupato di farcelo trovare direttamente in struttura. Posizione ottima per Dumaluan Beach e White Beach, fuori dalla confusione terrificante di Alona che comunque si trova a circa 10 min di scooter. Abbiamo usufruito anche del servizio di lavanderia che è stato perfetto.

Struttura molto bella, pulita, ordinata e originale, ma ciò che abbiamo apprezzato di più è stata la fantastica ospitalità di Justin!!! è stato incredibilmente premuroso e sempre molto gentile e disponibile per accompagnarci dove volevamo e suggirci posti incredibili. ciao Justin, ci vedremo presto!! :)

Super cute accommodation, simple but everything is there. AC works wonderfully. Comfortable bed and linen with big comfy pillows. The best was the kindness of the owner, Justin. He was the most genuinely kind person always ready to help. His attention and care definitely made my stay in Bohol better.

Eine Unterkunft mit wohlfühlfaktor♥️ Absolut schöne Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht. Super aufmerksamer und herzlicher Besitzer-Justin du hast uns den Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht. Gute Lage in einer Seitenstraße,daher nicht laut und man konnte gut schlafen. Über die Unterkunft konnten wir problemlos einen Roller mieten.

(Restaurants, best beaches, and city center, cool cafes etc) Great internet I worked from there Owner is unmatched in hospitality The place is such a vibe! VERY shic, cozy and vrty comfortable. Because facilities are high quality in many terms.

Justin and all of the family were super friendly and helpful, offering free airport transfers and lifts in to town, and helping to organise tours / onward travel. The location is great, a short drive from the airport and Alona Beach, but also only a 15 minute walk from a quieter White Beach. Very tasty breakfasts!

The staff is super friendly, the place is very cute and we had drinkable water and coffee in the kitchen which is very nice. It is not in the center but there is a dedicated driver who dropped us anywhere we wanted at anytime. That was so nice and convenient ! Also the staff was super caring

The owner and staff are absolutely amazing! Very friendly and helpful! They organised hire of scooter and boat trip do us and made everything so easy. The room is clean and tidy with excellent air con! Good shower pressure! A nice touch to provide free chilled mineral water.

This was honestly the best place we have ever stayed at. Justin and his team went above and beyond for everything during our stay and nothing was too much for them. A free shuttle service is offered to and from the local area which saved us loads of money, the breakfasts were delicious and the tour recommendations were fantastic.

Wij zullen nog vaak terug denken aan hoe goed wij hier zijn behandeld en geholpen. Met name grote dank aan de manager Justin. Super vriendelijk, denkt met je mee in jouw beste voordeel, goede tips over het eiland, regelt alles wat je nodig hebt, pick up service, en de lijst gaat verder met positieve punten.. Ook stond het personeel gelijk klaar om te helpen toen m’n vriendin op een zee egel had gestaan.

Séjour génial au Glorias, Justin est le meilleur hôte, absolument adorable, il m’a aidé à mon arrivée et mon départ ! Il a plein de bonnes adresses. J’ai loué un scooter hyper facilement avec lui. Les chambres sont super confortables, la Clim au top, salle de bains nickel. Vous serez bien mieux ici que dans le bruit et le bazar de Alona Beach, que je ne vous conseille pas pour loger. Si vous aimez la tranquillité, Glorias est l’endroit parfait !
