One minor point was the step into the bathroom which could be potentially dangerous, particularly for elderly people.

Reviewed Dec 19, 2025The peace and homey feeling. We felt like home. It was like visiting Grandma's house when you were a child. The hosts, Marten and Beryl made us feel like family. We have been twice this year and have already booked for next year. The backyard with all the shrubbery is amazing! We love it.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025Només buscavem un allotjament que estigués en un lloc més o menys tranquil a prop de l'aeroport de Cape Town. Ens vam sentir molt a gust. El propietari et fa sentir com a casa. Fins i tot es va comunicar amb mi un parell de dies abans que arribessim. L'esmorzar va ser bo i abundant.
El barri de nit estava molt fosc. Voliem anar a fer un volt però al final vam decidir quedar-nos a l'hostal.

Everyone was so friendly and we felt at home. Superb breakfast with fruit and eggs cooked to order and great coffee. Hope to go back another time. I’ll certainly recommend!

It was not an issue for us, but people relying on public transport may find it hard to get around. Breakfast, though tasty and healthy, could do with some variation.

Reviewed Jun 18, 2024Had good contact with owner Martin after making the booking and he arranged a shuttle from and to the airport for us, the driver was waiting at the airport when we arrived and on time the next morning too, excellent ! Martin greeted and showed us around upon arrival, the room was very nice and clean and we had a good night sleep. The breakfast was very nice and tasty as well ! All in all we had a good and comfortable stay and Martin proved to be an excellent host !
