Location, lovely helpful staff. Young guy from Dartmouth gave us excellent genuine tips for local hikes. The housekeeping staff brought us a toaster to toast GF bread in our cabin.

It was older and showed some signs of aging but we were okay with that!

The view off the back deck was nice and the bed wqs comfortable.

The cottage was dirty and not well stocked. It advertised a barbeque but was not in working order and not able to be used. We stayed 2 nights and we're provided one towel each and instructions left that if we wanted another towel we had to return used towel to the main office to be goven another one.

Great place to stay while we travelled the Cabot Trail. Staff was friendly. The cabin was very clean inside. Great view of the water. Chairs outside cabin to sit and look at the view. BBQ outside was nice.

Das Cottage ist schon etwas älter und sollte renoviert werden. Die Terrasse war etwas ungepflegt. Der zerbrochene Blumenkübel mit Unkraut hat uns etwas irritiert. Sehr schlechtes WLAN.

Lovely place. We arrived late at night, but arrangements were made to let us go right into our cottage. Very attractive rooms , cosy. Well appointed -;everything you need. And the view from the outside deck is gorgeous!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn etwas gefehlt hat, konnten wir es problemlos nachordern. Als wir unsere Unzufriedenheit höflich geäußert haben, wurde nach einer Alternative gesucht, leider war alles ausgebucht.

Cottage 1A oder 7, je nach Zählung, ist stark in die Jahre gekommen. Das merkt man an vielen Details wie kaputten Mückengittern, nicht schließenden Türen innen, alter Einrichtung,... Man hört die Nachbarn aus der Wohnung oben. Der Geruch ist muffig. Mein Vorschlag wäre, die Unit erst zu renovieren, bevor sie neu vermietet wird, um schlechte Bewertungen zu vermeiden, da die Cottages durchaus gut sein sollen.

Wir wohnten in Chalet Nr. 2 und es war ein wirklich traumhafter Aufenthalt mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf die Bucht ganz in der Nähe des Cape Breton Nationalparks. Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte sehr freundlich und unkompliziert und wir waren vom ersten Moment an begeistert von unserer charmanten Unterkunft. Wir haben uns zwei Mal Abends in der "Fisherman´s Kitchen" unser Abendessen geholt und es hat uns ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Sehr freundliches Personal!

Es hat uns zwar nicht gestört, aber im Bad sollten die Armaturen wieder einmal befestigt werden, waren etwas locker.

One mug in a twin room, missing cutlery. These little details matter in an expensive room.

Staff and location were excellent. Nice cottages with a good view.

They are a bit pricing however I think in line with the region and time of year, unfortunately.

Great location close to Ingonish beach and Cabot trails. Cozy cottage feel. Beautiful view of the water. Kitchen had mostly everything we needed to prepare our own meals.

We loved the location, the view and sitting outside admiring the view. We appreciated the staff having the air on when we arrived in very hot weather. Checkin was easy

It was an older building but that didn’t take away from its charm.

The motel is very clean and comfy with ocean view. Breakfast is really good. Made a very pleasant stay at Cape Breton.

I liked the location and the cottage was extremely clean. The beds were super comfy. The towels were great. The staff was extremely friendly. The restaurant was lovely as well.

Die Lage und der Blick sind schön. Unkompliziertes Ein- und Auschecken.

Alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten 2 Cottages in der 2. Reihe zum See. Die Sauberkeit passte zum rustikalen Ambiente. Küchenausstattung wirkte abgezählt.

Les cottages ont beaucoup de charme et ont une très belle vue. Les lits sont grands et très confortables. Le personnel est très accueillant (et nous a permis de faire une lessive malgré la charge de travail accumulé car les cottages étaient tous pleins !). Le petit-déjeuner est en supplément mais vaut le coup !

It was a very cute little cabin with decent space. A small kitchen area but all else was nice. Fairly dated but with charm.

Location was phenomenal. Views were amazing. Very cute and comfortable spot. Our 2 bedroom cottage was very nice and very clean and comfortable. We would 100% return.

We booked the place last minute and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The place is absolutely beautiful, facing the ocean and scenic. It was a bit cloudy during our stay, I can’t imagine how much more beautiful it would be if it was sunny. Place is spacious and spotless clean. Has a bbq too. It’s very close to Ingonish beach, which is a must visit place in Cape Breton.

The property had the perfect amount amenities. It was quiet and comfortable. It was also super close to all the national park had to offer.

The menu at the onsite restaurant wasn’t really my vibe but I had a full kitchen to work with so I was all good!

Wish Id known we didn't have a proper deck and were in a basement. Thought we were getting a full cottage/structure when we booked. But overall, it was a good stay.

A wonderful cosy cottage with a great view. It even had a fireplace for those cold rainy days. The beds were very comfortable.

Below ground unit was given to me. Unit was crowded and furniture uncomfortable. The fridge was full of water at the bottom due to a leak. Poor air circulation made it uncomfortable. The value for type of accommodation was very disappointing. I would not choose to stay here again. Kitchen was very poorly equipped. The balcony has deteriorated to the point safety has been compromised.

Very clean and spacious cabin with a great view. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious.

Mosquitos were hungry. The restaurant was closed for breakfast because it was still the "off season".

There was no beach access, the cottage was outdated (the floor boards of the deck were old and rickety, the toilet didn’t flush unless you took the lif iff the back and manually pushed it) The property wasn’t located close to any if the things we wanted to do and the food at the restaurant wasn’t good.

The location is good, great view. The young woman at check in was very friendly.

The front step into the cabin is rotted and has a broken board. The bathroom door does not fit the frame, leaving a gap when you close the door. The floor is uneven. The bed, not so comfortable. The cabin needs a lot of maintenance.

Great view and felt like home

The locations was great! We loved the deck overlooking the water. The place was quite rustic and cozy (i.e. dated and small), but very clean. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet.

It was quite cool out and we couldn't figure out how to use the thermostat to warm up the cottage a bit. We were warm enough, though. There was very little counter space in the bathroom for toiletries.

Cottage no.6, propre, grand (sauf toilette minuscule) avec balcon bbq/table/chaise/vue, bien équipé (cuisinière, frigo, micro ondes...), tranquille. Un vrai petit chalet au bord de l'eau !

Het huisje was erg klein, we hadden een keuken verwacht maar er was niks. Ook geen broodrooster om ontbijt te kunnen maken.

Lack of tools items in the kitchen, neglected grounds outside, no balcony, bbq very ild and dirty. it was not a cottage despite being called cottage 9a as we had units and guests attached beside and above us was more like a motel… and cleaning inside and around unit could have been more torough

The room was quite comfortable for one person, cozy for two, and possibly challenging with more than that. It was clean and comfortable. There was a back deck that overlooked the water, although no chairs, just a bench to sit on to view it. Fridge and coffee maker worked. The restaurant was not open when I was there.
