good location!

The only reason I am rating this place a 2 instead of a 1 is because of the two reception boys. They were incredibly dedicated, helpful, and hardworking. They spent an hour cleaning our room late at night, helped us catch a rodent, and even assisted us with an ATM withdrawal. The owner should be incredibly grateful to have such staff. Unfortunately, the management is a complete disaster.

Our 5-night stay at Home Away Ky Con was in our opinion an absolute nightmare, characterized by unhygienic conditions and unethical behavior from the manager. I arrived late to find the room was poorly cleaned and covered in small animal droppings. Because of the late hour, professional cleaning wasn't available, so the reception boys spent an hour cleaning it for us. At 3:00 AM, strange noises woke us up. More droppings had appeared around our belongings and when we shook the fridge, a mouse ran out and started to run around the room! I run downstairs for the reception boys who came up to helped us catching it (picture attached). Terrified of pests, bacteria, and our belongings being ruined, we asked for a room change. The manager claimed no rooms were free in the building and offered a middle-of-the-night taxi relocation to another branch. We refused and agreed to switch rooms the next day instead. We spent the rest of the night with the lights on and barely slept. The next day, we were exhausted. To make matters worse, the second room they gave us was also dirty, forcing us to wait another hour for it to be cleaned, which heavily disrupted our sightseeing itinerary in Ho Chi Minh City. The manager’s behavior throughout this was and shocking. Before arriving, an employee repeatedly messaged me on WhatsApp asking me to cancel my Booking.com reservation and book directly with them for a small discount. I refused. During the midnight mouse crisis, the manager on the phone insisted again that we cancel our booking. I refused again. Although we appreciate help from reception boys, the hotel was responsible for putting us in a room where a rodent ran over our belongings and snacks. For this completely ruined night, they offered a 200,000 VND compensation (approx the price of two egg coffees in HCMC). Our entire stay was for 5 nights, costing a total of 3,400,000 VND.

We found very food around the area and staff is friendly and helpful. Neighbors are nice and safe there.

A few materials are old but they are clean. Like the wall with kid’s drawing and food stamp but I didn’t take photos because it is not serious.

Decent space in apartment to have your suitcase/bags and not feel too crowded

Very good value for money, with a spacious room and a great location. We booked at the last minute and arrived very late with limited communication while travelling, yet the check-in process was smooth and the communication throughout was excellent.

les draps et les serviettes doivent sont vieux, à remplacer, il faudrait des ustensiles de cuisines plus nombreux. la salle de bain doit être améliorer avec une vrai douche.

Washing machine came in very handy in the heat. Good size fridge/freezer. Good location.

Mattress is very hard and the apartment could be a bit cleaner.

Lot of space, good equipments, large window with nice view, clean.

No free water. No 'small' lights for bedtime.

Trước kia mình hay boôking nơi này ban đầu rất oki về mọi thứ. Thấy chị chị chủ rất nhiệt tình,hổ trợ,vui vẽ…Nên mình á thường xuyên booking.

Tầm 2-3 lần gần đây booking trên ứng dụng theo nhu cầu và kế hoạch của mình và đã hoàn tất. Nhưng liên hệ với phía chổ nghĩ thì luôn bị bắt phải ở 2 đêm với lí do là setup cực.Xong lại bị upsale lên căn lớn hơn với giá cao với lí do hết phòng hơn nhu cầu của mình. Nhưng do m đã lỡ đặt rồi nên đành chấp nhận.

Nice and clean room with loads of space to store your stuff. Good kitchen to cook breakfast and simple dishes. Location was excellent within walking distance from good restaurants, Fine Arts Museum etc. Room on the inner courtyard side was quiet.

The shower does not have a shower curtain, so the whole space gets wet when you shower. Our friend stayed in a room upstairs (5th) that was a bit more noisy than the first floor. Beds are quite hard, not to everyone's liking.

The receptionists Vox and Nghia went out of their way to help with everything even when they weren’t working at the moment, They’re truly a gift for this place. There was an elevator and always warm water in the shower.

I booked this room because i saw a washing machine in the picture of the room but there wasn’t one, seems like they let it out so if it’s important for you they have a laundry service but you must pay. When i arrived there was a really disgusting underwear in the shower

Très bon séjour. La chambre est spacieuse, conforme aux photos et dispose de tout le nécessaire. J’ai également beaucoup aimé le quartier, très agréable.

quelques petits insectes dans la chambre, probablement liés au climat local, mais rien de vraiment dérangeant.

The water pressure was very bad.

Bien que le logement mériterai un petit coup de propre dans l'ensemble j'ai été très content. Ce qui a rendu mon séjour très agréable c'est le professionnalisme de Cam. Toujours aux petits soins, très agréable et très appliqué dans son travail. C'est elle qui a rendu mon séjour très agréable. J'ai fais deux chambres et c'était plutôt calme pour une ville intense comme Ho Chi Minh :) De plus le logement est quand même bien confortable

Il n'y avait personne lors de notre arrivée, et nous avons eu un peu de difficultés à entrer en contact avec quelqu'un.

前台服务人员非常热情，服务周到

床单卫生程度一般，有毛发，洗漱用品只有牙刷和梳子，如果有浴帽就更好了

Pokój przestronny, widny, okno na całą scianę. Łózko wygodne, duże, czysta pościel i ręczniki. Dużo miejsca na ubrania, kosmetyki. Czysto. Kuchnia wyposażona skromnie ale wystarczająco, Duża lodówka, suszarka do włosów. Kosmetyki łazienkowe. Widok z okna z czwartego pietra bardzo ładny. Obsługa sympatyczna. Lokalizacja bardzo dobra. Wszedzie blisko. Polecamy !

Sicuramente l appuntamento non rispecchia del tutto le foto e gli standard di pulizia sono nella media del paese ma è dotato di molto spazio il letto è comodo ed essendo in un cortile all interno della strada è davvero silenzioso. Il personale è gentile ci ha tenuto i bagagli.

- Les serviettes sentaient très mauvais - Nous avions ‘spécifiquement choisi cet appartement pour être au calme, avons demandé une chambre calme, malgré ça nous avons été placés au 1er étage. Nous pouvions entendre les bruits des allers et venus des scooters dans la cour, en plus des pas et bruits incessants de nos voisins d’au dessus. Nous avons été réveillés tard dans la nuit et tôt le matin

Studio situé dans une petite impasse étroite. Un peu surprenant au début, mais silencieux du coup. Propre. Rien à signaler.

Die Lage ist super zentral und der Check-In verlief unkompliziert. Bei Schwierigkeiten mit unserem Zimmercode wurde uns auch sehr schnell geholfen.

Es gab keine Trennung der Dusche vom Rest des Bads, sodass alles nass wurde. Die Katzen im Nachbargebäude waren auch sehr laut.

La disponibilité du personnel pour régler les problèmes que j’ai rencontrés, la grande chambre, la cuisine et le lave-linge

Il y a un défaut d’entretien (cafards, saletés tombant du plafond, tuyau de douche qui fuit) et le matelas est à remplacer : avec les ressorts qui m’enfonçaient le dos, j’ai dormi comme un fakir. Environnement bruyant, surtout la nuit.

Very spacious room and location of hotel was great as it’s set back from the main road meaning it was quieter. Very central to everything the city has to offer. Staff were helpful. We rented a motorbike from here too which was very easy to organise.

The motorbikes we were given weren’t of the best quality. The first one we were given, none of the lights worked or Speed dial. We asked for a new one the next day and on this one the Speed dial still didn’t work and the headlight was very poor.

Es war ein schönes Apartment. Die Lage war richtig für einen kurzen Aufenthalt im Zentrum der Stadt.

The room was bright and clean. The staff was very helpful! A good option for the price. No insects.

I didn’t like the location. It wasn’t far from the center but still a little bit far in my opinion.

Les murs méritent un rafraîchissement

The room was spacious and comfortable, with great amenities like a washing machine, stove, and refrigerator. It was also very well lit, we stayed for four nights.

However, there were a few things we didn’t like. The hotel is located in an area full of auto parts shops — although it’s about 20 minutes away from tourist spots, the surroundings are not very nice. There are also no restaurants nearby, so it would be great if the hotel could provide a list of nearby restaurant and supermarket recommendations. In addition, the bathroom had a bad smell, like drainage water, and the mattress was extremely hard. Lastly, while all the other hotels we stayed at in Vietnam charged a 3% fee for credit card payments, this one charged 3.5% and couldn’t explain the difference.

Home sạch sẽ, rộng rãi, có smart tivi luôn, có cả thang máy nên rất thuận tiện. Home ở trong hẻm rộng dễ tìm, nhân viên cũng rất thân thiện, đêm ngủ rất yên tĩnh, gối hơi cao xíu nên mình ngủ dậy cổ hơi đau thôi còn lại mọi thứ đều rất ok

Phòng sạch sẽ, đầy đủ tiện nghi

It looks like a studio but it's not a studio. No nothing to cook and no nothing.. That's just a look alike kitchen. There is some animal yealing.. I don't now what kind and that's ok. But still.. that's a noisy room. The shower is like... no pressure... like easy.. no rush.. water will come.. lol..and.. no pressure bro.. If you ask them to wash your clothes.. that's a big big no ! Don't do that ! I got all my clothes sized down... Don't let them do that ! About the location : Pretty good ! About the neighborhood : Great ! About the staff : They are great ! Trustfull, helpfull and really true !

The noise (animal noise) Impossible to make my room total dark ! Nothing to cook. Low water pressure. Switch off lights are not in the right place. Bad shower system. Bidet paper is not at the right place (the roll of bidet paper is not at the right place at all ! Do not rent a motorbike from them because that is dangerous.
