Pillows were stained, Sofa Chair upholstery was stained and dirty. Room Floor was not clean. Bed Back was dirty, stained and paint fallen all over it.Staff was always busy on their mobiles

1. The rooms and bathrooms are much smaller than we expected. 2. The service at the restaurant was very average. Perhaps they were short staffed. 3. The quality of food on the a la carte menu for a 5 star hotel was mediocre.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Everything at this hotel was exceptional. We felt like royalty in the royal city of Mysuru, with exceptional staff interactions, room facilities, hotel facilities, and food.
Everything was fantastic; there was nothing I disliked. However, one feedback that I provided to the receptionist is that the photo art on the wall, the furniture and food - all of this very eligently reflected the Mysuru local royal culture - except for the music in reception or the dinning area. The Mysuru Royal dynasty is famous for promoting Carnatic classical music with the King himself being a Veena player and a musician and composer. With that, if Mysore Carnatic Music is also included or blended in their playlist at dinning and reception area - it will classically complete this place in my opinion to be truly a remarkable place in Mysuru

We stayed in both a Deluxe Twin Room and a Heritage Suite. While both rooms were comfortable, they had several maintenance issues such as squeaky doors, handles, and in the suite, a very noisy bed that disturbed sleep even with minor movement. We reported the issue, but the follow-up and communication between the engineering and front desk teams seemed lacking.

Check-in process was quite intimidating. Mr. Soutrik at the front desk was quite intimidating and rude. I received email about upgrade and I signed up for it. But the front desk completely dis-associated with the email. Not sure why the corporate sends email and front desk has no clue. This guy at front desk was behaving as if I have never been to any hotel and was cutting off while trying to speak. Never ever faced such arrogance in a hotel like this. I was only doing a pit stop in Mysuru before going to coorg. But this experience left a very bad laste.
