It is in a good location for events at the Hawaii Convention Center and Ala Moana Shopping Center.

There was a little unpleasant odor in the bathroom, like stale laundry. I sniffed around and it didn't come from the towels or the shower curtain. Didn't really appreciate that the view from our window was the parking lot of Ala Moana Shopping Center.

Nice staff n good location

Bedding was ill fit, blanket was thin n itchy. No extra pillow or comfy blanket in the room for the pullout. Would be nice to log into Netflix or other streaming programs on a smart tv.

The staff were exceptional - we so appreciated being able to enter the room on our trip from New Zealand and the room being available straight away for my Mother. She was able to rest before we had our appointment - just exceptional :)

Just one thing - there wasn't a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea for my elderly Mother (maybe I was meant to heat the water up in the microwave) and some long life milk would be nicer than the milk powder otherwise everything was great.

Parking wasn't the greatest

Breakfast - prepaid and had to wait 30 minutes for a table with half the restaurant with empty tables.

I liked how the place have Starbucks, a good restaurant at the roof top, Great employees, good location and good atmosphere

Washer and dryer, washer was fine but the dryer it said it accepts coins but upon further inspection it did not accept coins only card. The roof top restaurant didn’t have steak by the time we were there which was unfortunate. I hope breakfast was a little bit earlier than usual.

The location of the hotel is very convenient

When we entered the hotel room this time, it wasn't as expected. I booked a partial ocean-view room, but it had more of a parking view. Therefore, I had to pay an additional $50 each night to upgrade and change rooms. And the room seemed full of moisture. Not sure if it was right after the storm, but the room was very musty. For the Bellman service, the attendant was not customer-friendly.

Centrally located: plus (I was attending an event at the convention center). Room was super comfortable. Accessing hotel parking was easy (although I admit, the parking garage looked a little sketchy for safety, but I had no problems whatsoever).

Person helping at check-in was distracted by other coworkers and her attention kept going to them; and it was not work related discussion. Was not super friendly or unfriendly; just average.

Friendly staff all smiling, quick check in, convenient location. Clean property, lots of aloha.

Great location with the walking bridge to Ala Moana Center. All staff were friendly and efficient. During the hurricane situation while we stayed, we witnessed manager, kitchen personnel, and servers working together in the restaurant for breakfast. Only on elevator worked due to the power outage. We saw security person and management person assisting guests to use only one working elevator. Obviously they are well trained for emergency situations like this. Very organized and hands on!

The building seems to be old. The bathroom worked ok but very outdated especially bath tub faucet.

All in all, great hotel to stay at and great amenities when they’re available. Great places to eat and bars to drink, staff was great and really nice.

I’d like to start off with, I’m a local and have lived here my entire life. I had this booking set for a few weeks to allow my significant other and myself enjoy a relaxing weekend, however, there was an active tropical storm while we were staying here and I do understand that the power outages are not a controlled situation but there was 0 accommodation for the power outage; absolutely none. We couldn’t get breakfast, or use any sort of amenities while the power was out, which is understandable, but we were still expected to be out by out check out time, no extension past the normal or any sort of discount for not being able to enjoy anything. High stress situation for the workers for sure, but hey, I paid money for these things and didn’t get the moneys worth.

Very luxurious and clean hotel. Stayed at Kona tower with side ocean view, was very good. Comfortable bed and Lion Coffee plus machine. Nice bathroom and good facilities such as gym + sauna and pool. Free insulated water bottle as a gift. Housekeeping very attentive. Discount sheet for adjacent Café and Restaurant. Located very close to the Ala Moana shopping center. Breakfast buffet is worth the price if not included in the booking. Signature restaurant upstairs was a good but expensive experience too.

Pool and gym close early compared to other hotels. Parking is not included in the booking and is 41 usd per night for guests.

Long lines to check in. Had no priority over people who were there for cancelled flights. Tried to check in early and they said to come back later. No beeper or offer to text when room was ready.

Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und wir hatten einen schönen Blick aufs Meer vom Balkon aus. Wir können nur empfehlen, ein Zimmer mit Balkon zu mieten. Es lohnt sich. Die Gardinen waren sehr blickdicht, was wir als angenehm empfunden haben. Das Zimmer war gut isoliert, wir konnten auf die Klimaanlage verzichten. Es wurden jeden Tag die Betten gemacht. Das Frühstück gefiel uns ebenfalls. Eier, Speck, Wurst, sehr viel frisches Obst etc. Sowohl die europäischen als auch die asiatischen Vorlieben wurden beim Frühstück berücksichtigt. Der Pool war sehr gepflegt. Es gab viele Liegemöglichkeiten. Vor Ort sind ein Supermarkt, Starbucks, eine Bar, ein Bistro und ein Restaurant.

Das Einchecken hat ewig gedauert. Das Personal schien in diesem Fall nicht auf der Höhe zu sein. Besonders herzlich waren die Angestellten ebenfalls nicht.

The breakfast is very good.

Our room was located at the end of the hall across from an icemaker. I felt as if I was staying at a motel. The room did not have a city view. We were looking at the roof of another building and a parking lot.

Excellent restaurant on the top floor of the hotel, with friendly bar staff (I sat at the bar) and really good food. Recomment the Tuna Sashimi and the wagyu beef cooked on a hot stone!

Ideal location for were I need to be, staff was very helpful, belldesk, front desk, and the valet who gave me instructions on where to park outside of the hotel, had to park away from the hotel but at least I got a parking stall.

Lack of parking, since the hotel was busy, phone in room working or not, could not call to PBX.

They are committed to customer service. They listen, assess options, and then provide the best possible solution.

We did not want to be right on Waikiki Beach due to the elevated cost, and this hotel was a comfortable walk to the best part of beach and a similar short walk to the Ala Moana beach where more of the locals hang out.

Rooms were great, very close to Ala Moana Shopping Centre. There was a pink bus line that could take you through to Waikiki for $6 outside of Ala Moana. Can't really say its a beach view, still a nice view from the 15th floor. Staff were friendly :)

It was nice, clean. The AC worked well. The employees were nice, helpful when we interacted. The microwave was a plus and the refrigerator was a decent size. Valet was right on it.

The bathroom was small and the tub sides were too tall. The TV didn't stream.

Rooms were small. Taking the elevator took 10min’s just to get on. We got parking tickets when we were told to park in the oversized area, but was not told it’s a different company that runs that part of the parking lot, even though the specific number of the lot was told for us to park. We did dispute it. It felt the hotel over booked and could not accommodate the number of guests.

Requested a ADA room with two double beds. This hotel only offers one single bed for their ADA . I had to request a rollaway bed for my caregiver to sleep. Also the closet rods to hang your clothes were too high. As a wheelchair user I was unable to reach the hangers being too high. Also they had a ADA push button that helps with the door to open and close but it didn’t work.

The hotel feels like you are staying at a place priced like a Four Seasons. THe lobby is huge and elegant, you hear beautiful Hawaiian music as soon as you enter the lobby. THe view from our room on the 28th floor was INCREDIBLE!!! All staff interactions were very friendly.

I wish the breakfast for 27 dollars per person was free for guests. We only went ine time, and even though they had amazing breakfast choices, it's too costly. The gift shops are too expensive. I wish that had had vending machines to be able to get headache medications when the gift shop was closed after hours.

This hotel is a short drive to Waikiki. I wouldn't say it's walking distance though, so definitely need a car or to plan to Uber/Lyft. There is an onsite parking garage for $41/day which is worth it-except when you come back late there won't be spaces in there so you have to park offsite. Starbucks in lobby and cute stores. Prime Steak on the 36th floor is amazing.

Breakfast buffet is good but the same food is served every day. Our room had a balcony that looked onto the roof below and other hotels which was a bummer. I would have paid a little more for a better view. Beds were fulls, not queens and were kind of hard. Be prepared to spend a ton of time waiting on elevators during busy times and the stairs are not a good option.

First time in the Kona Tower, room seem smaller than usual. Woke up to 20-30 small bugs (maybe baby centipedes) in the bathroom. No shampoo in the dispenser, but since we were there for one night, didn’t bother to ask to refill.

Fabulous views from our 35th floor view. Easy checkin and checkout. Coupon for water bottles and Signature Restaurant unexpected surprise. Donavon, our server in the restaurant is incredibly gracious, skilled and funny. The hostess who greeted us also kept her poise in a busy bustling place. Piano background was excellent.

Bathroom very underwhelming, especially shower. Let down you didn’t have a bidet because we often have enjoyed them in other Honolulu properties.
