Apartamento de grandes dimensiones con todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia en la isla. Cuenta con dos pisos, terraza, jardín, zona de barbacoa, lavadora…Ropa de cama y toallas de sobra. Excelente bienvenida con huevos, fruta, agua e información acerca de Madeira.

Únicamente constaba de una sartén pequeña. Ubicación y acceso complicado.

La maison est très propre et bien équipée. La vue est exceptionnelle. C'est très calme, un peu à l'écart, parfait pour se reposer et partir découvrir ce côté de l'île.

Fantastic apartment with 3 bedrooms (upstairs), and a living room and kitchen downstairs. But the highlight is a terrace and little garden with spectacular views! We had complete privacy and the whole place to ourselves. Appreciate the shower pressure and size of the bathroom. The house is situated at a higher altitude, so it was a bit cooler and therefore very comfortable to sleep in June. Fernanda is a great host and she cares about her guests. During the stay she checked if we had everything we needed. She gave us detailed directions on how to get to the property, recommendations for restaurants, hiking tips and even local events (by the way, her English is like a native speaker!). We felt great at the property, as it was a perfect place to relax and move away from tourist spots and crowds. Brilliant stay!

Nothing really. Having a rental car is a must if you want to explore the island. Expect a very steep approach road to the property, but this is the fun at Madeira with all the roads being a bit crazy!

Very clean and spacious house with a great outdoor area and fabulous view. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed the peaceful location out of town but were still able to visit lots of places including restaurants within a short drive. The host was very welcoming and responsive to any questions.

Das moderne Haus aus hochwertigen Materialien bietet im Erdgeschoss eine großzügige Wohnküche sowie ein kleines Wohnzimmer. Im ersten Stock liegen drei Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Alles ist blitzsauber. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig, hoch oberhalb von Calheta, mit einem beeindruckenden, weiten Ausblick. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen: eine komplett eingerichtete Küche, eine Waschmaschine inklusive Waschmittel-Pods sowie drei Terrassen mit Tisch, Stühlen, Sonnenliegen, Sonnenschirm und offenem Grill. Besonders willkommen fühlten wir uns bei der Ankunft durch einen großen Obstteller mit saisonalen Früchten wie Guaven und Cherimoya. Der Kontakt war jederzeit freundlich, und auf Fragen wurde schnell reagiert. Als Musikliebhaber haben wir uns zudem sehr über den Klassiksender Mezzo gefreut.

So schön die Lage ist, kann sie für unsichere Autofahrer auch eine Herausforderung sein: die letzten 300 Meter Straße sind sehr steil. Auch Restaurants können nur mit dem Auto erreicht werden. Zudem kann der steile, bei Nässe rutschige Fußweg vom Parkplatz zum Haus (ca. 70 Meter) sowie die schmale, steile Treppe in den ersten Stock für Personen mit eingeschränkter Trittsicherheit problematisch sein. Mein geräuschempfindlicher Partner hatte eine erste schlechte Nacht, weil Boiler/Solarsystem auf dem Dach minütlich für einige Sekunden technische Geräusche von sich gab. Alle Nächte danach waren perfekt lautlos. Das lässt sich bestimmt optimieren. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Im Wohnzimmer wäre ein etwas gemütlicheres, wärmeres Licht wünschenswert.

Estancia muy agradable. La casa estaba muy limpia, amplia y en una ubicación perfecta para hacer excursiones. La atención de Fernanda, la anfitriona, ha sido excelente; nos recibió con varios detalles (vino, frutas, dulces, huevos…), algo que se agradece mucho. Además, pudimos disfrutar de la barbacoa. Además, la cocina era completa y con los extras necesario : sal, pimiento, aceite, café , té, azúcar etc. Muy recomendable.

Al venir en marzo el tiempo fue bastante frío y en algunos momentos la casa se sentía un poco fresca, algo normal en estas fechas.

The property had a garden, beautiful view, terraces, sun beds, well equipped kitchen and the best shower ever.

Clean, spacious, fabulous view. Fernanda is the kindest person you can meet. She welcomed us with her homemade produce. Always made sure we felt at home. Very tastefully decorated and furnished. Good location for nearby levada. 10 minutes to the beach and supermarket by car.

Accesibility - very steep climb to the property (not meant to complain, just bear it in mind).

Wir waren und sind begeistert von dieser traumhaften Insel Madeira und der unglaublich netten Gastfreundschaft der Vermieterin, besonders aber auch vom wunderschön gelegenen Ferienhaus. Die Aufmerksamkeit der Gastgeberin war auf Feinste abgestimmt, ließ keinen Wunsch offen und wir haben uns jederzeit absolut wohl gefühlt und können uns einen weiteren Urlaub ohne weiteres sehr gut vorstellen. Toll, wie wir empfangen wurden, mit frischem Obst, Kaffe, Wein…was das Herz begehrt!

Une grande maison face à la mer avec un beau jardin et tout le confort nécessaire, que demander de plus ? Fernanda a été une hôte exceptionnelle, tant par sa disponibilité, ses explications, que par les petits cadeaux qui nous attendaient. Un grand merci !

Dieses Haus hat alles Notwendige für einen schönen Aufenthalt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Gastgeber waren immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Im Garten gab es genug Platz zum Sonnen. Ein ausgestatteter Grill stand zur Verfügung. Die Küche ist sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet gewesen. Die Aussicht war besonders am Abend wunderschön. Uns hat es sehr gefallen !

Arrivée en voiture difficile car très pentue. Mais on s’est habitué. Accès depuis le parking à la maison par un sacré chemin très pentu ( sportif avec les valises)

The house is a bit tricky to reach, but it's absolutely worth it for the peaceful location and stunning views. The property is modern, well-equipped, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The true highlight, however, was the hostess — she was incredibly kind and welcoming. When she met us at the house to hand over the keys, she also shared great recommendations for places to visit on Madeira. On arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome gift of fresh fruit, eggs, cookies, and a bottle of wine. Throughout the week, she even checked in via text to make sure we had everything we needed.

The place, silent area where the house is settled is super relaxing; being waken up by the sounds of birds, and of course the view. Fernanda is super reactive, very attentive to our well-being: she is a super host!

Everything was perfect.

Super friendly Fernanda, who was always ready to help. Sweet treats, wine and eggs from local hens, which were waiting for us in the kitchen. Fernande's care made our stay more pleasant. Clean, cozy, in the house everything you need for a short and long stay. Beautiful view! I highly recommend!

View, so clean

A quiet place to stay on vacation, comfortable and sufficiently equipped. You just have to take into account that from the car park it is about 60 meters down the hill on foot. We enjoyed our vacation, we were very satisfied.

We liked everything.

The property was amazing. We had so much space, everything was spotless, and the local fruits, cake and wine were a lovely touch. The location was very quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we wanted being away from the city, but also near enough to the shop, beach and restaurants.

Fernanda is an excellent host. House is new and well decorated with ALLL the amenities you may need when on a trip. Perfect for couples, group of friends or families. Terrace is lovely and opens up a nice view on Calheta, while giving the rural piece and quiet. Grill is a wonderful plus as well. Recommended indeed, the best place we stayed in Madeira by a mile

It was an excellent stay, definitely recommend! The host was kind and helpful, also quick to answer any quesition we had :) Everything was clean, lots of room. Great terrace for relaxing between activities. We had a car, so it wasn't difficult to reach the property.

Matilda's place in Madeira was simply incredible! Matilda, our host, was the best part of our stay. She waited for us despite our late arrival, gave us great tips for exploring Madeira, and even provided us with a thoughtful welcome package of farmer eggs, traditional Madeira cake, wine, and fresh fruits! The house itself had stunning views and was well-maintained. Matilda's hospitality and care made our Madeira experience unforgettable. We absolutely fell in love with the island and Matilda's place. If we ever return, we'll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for a fantastic Madeira getaway!

As for any drawbacks, the initial access to the accommodation can be a bit challenging, especially for less experienced drivers. However, on the second attempt, we had no problem at all.

Perfect location, amazing view! The host was very friendly and helpful, the house extremely clean and the kitchen equipped with everything we needed. We were welcomed with local fruits, wine, cake and eggs, which after a day of travel was perfect to enjoy on the terrace.

Fernanda is a really kind person and guide us some advice to visit around the house. The house is beautiful and have a beautiful view on the sea and sunset.

The road and the access to the house could be difficult with big luggage or disable person.

Nice location 400 meters above sea level. Beautiful view, calm surroundings. Several terraces to use. The host met us even though we arrived late in the night. The host were in contact with us to check if we had any specific needs. We were met with fruit from their own garden. The house was newly fully refurbished. The house was extremely clean upon arrival. The house and kitchen were very well equipped. We had a wonderful stay in this house, and can highly recommend it to others.

We have nothing we didn't like

Perfect place for family with a superb view and calm surroundings. Apartments (a house actually) have everything you need starting from fully equipped kitchen (including toaster, microwave oven, coffee machine, oven, etc..). There are three cosy bedrooms, a bathroom on first floor and a toilet downstairs. An apartment has also a terrace and balcony with wonderful views.

It's not a thing to dislike, but this wonderful quiet place requires a car. Which is required anyway if you want to explore all hidden places in the island

Great location in a town with a beach. Great terraces of the house with a view of the surroundings and the ocean, you can watch a wonderful sunrise. Very quiet and private, no contact with neighbors. The hostess is very friendly and helpful, pleasant communication. Comfortable beds and very good bathroom. Parking the car a bit far from the house, going up a steep hill, but that's normal in Madeira :)

The views were great and the hosts were lovely. They left us wine and fresh fruit from their garden. A good range of tourist brochures to have a look at and a lot of space in the house.

Fernanda is the perfect host.

We spent 14 days, enjoying the fabulous views from 460m attitude while couldn’t make a right choice between 3 different terraces available. To Calheta beach with restaurants about 15 minutes by car. Next restaurant is close but steep way back up the hill. Next levada Calheta-Prazeres is about 30 minutes walk up the hill, (from there) an easy and beautiful walk away from tourism. Wonderful hosts, providing a very warm welcome and made us feel at home, thank you Fernanda and Holario.

Everything is perfect: timely communication, the house is in perfect condition, the view is amazing, and it's all thanks to the most wonderful owners of this piece of paradise. Great hosts, they offer us things from the Garden like fruits, vegetables & eggs. Nice Panorama view to the Coast. very clean house with 3 rooms. The house is situated in a quiet zone.

The only disadvantage is that you have to park your car on the upper Street (a 10-meter walk) as there is no parking around the house.

The owner is very friendly and helpful! It is a perfect house for a family or for a group of friends looking to an amazing place in Madeira Island. Breathtaking view from the balcony and terrace and spacious house with comfortable rooms to spend a quality time in the vacation. I would totally recomend
