good place overall. we stayed here for 4 nights- but unfortunately none of us could sleep any night because of the neighbouring dog barking all night. NON STOP this was not mentioned upon booking but only in the info on the day of arrival.... also, there is no possibility to have a window open during the night ( its extremely hot upstairs where the beds are)--》 a mosquito net would be reccommended. last but not least, we found rat poop on a daily. good location, great cabin but it does need an upgrade.

A FUIR pour plusieurs problèmes : - Salle de bain malodorante. - Aucune intimité : le salon donne directement sur l’espace barbecue commun, les gens mangent littéralement avec vue sur votre intérieur. - Pas de rideaux, donc impossible de se protéger de la lumière du jour dès le petit matin. - Chiens des voisins qui aboient toute la nuit : pendant les 3 nuits du séjour, ils ont aboyé de 21h à 8h, au point d’être entendus même avec des boules Quies. - Pas de climatisation et ventilateur très ancien, probablement datant des années 90, qui fait un bruit de tracteur à côté de la tête. - Moustiques très nombreux dès la tombée de la nuit, rendant l’aération du logement compliquée. Après avoir signalé ces problèmes à l’hôte dès la première nuit (nuit blanche), sa réponse a été en substance : « c’est un climat tropical, c’est normal qu’il y ait des moustiques et qu’il fasse chaud », avec comme solutions d’aller acheter du spray à la citronnelle et d’appeler la police pour les chiens. Rapport qualité-prix très mauvais : pour le même prix à Funchal, l’expérience précédente était un hôtel 5 étoiles avec piscine et femme de ménage. Ne tombez pas dans le panneau.

Casa muy bonita y acogedora, zona tranquila, cocina muy bien equipada y cama cómoda.

Falta de jabón, gel y papel de baño. En la ducha se salía el agua por debajo.

Gostei de tudo. Recomendo!

De tuin en uitzicht op zee

Het was bloedheet in het huisje. Er staat een mobiele airco, maar die werkte niet. Nachten waren niet te doen, helemaal niet in de kleine kamer voor de kids. De keukenkastjes vielen bijna uit elkaar. Buiten zag het er wel heel mooi uit. Het huisje staat echt op een hele stijle berg, waardoor wandelen vanuit huisje bijna niet mogelijk is, en het is ver af van een supermarkt of idd. Contact met de host bij uitchecken was erg onaangenaam. We waren we tuinkussens vergeten binnen te zetten en kregen echt direct heel onvriendelijk (buiten proportioneel) reactie.

Het was een sfeervol appartement, gezellig. Ligging aan de rand van het dorp was fijn.

Blaffende honden in de nacht (verder niks aan te doen) en de ligging van de bbq. Die ligt tussen de 3 huisjes in waardoor er weinig privacy is. Mijn inziens zou er wel wat klein onderhoud mogen plaatsvinden, bijvoorbeeld aan de keukendeurtjes.

Unique accommodation with good views and great kitchen.

Had dogs barking in very early hours. Owner did leave a note upon arrival but should be noted in the post before booking. Should also be noted how steep the climb up to the bed is as some guests would not be able to maneuver and should be warned.

The quiet location with great view, the facilities and the design of the property, including the grass terrace.

Sehr gemütliches Bett, mit toller Aussicht. Haben es sehr genossen am Abend draußen zu sitzen bei der Feuerstelle.

Das es sehr warm wird im Haus, keine Klimaanlage. Nachts etwas unangenehm, da man ungern die Terrassentür geöffnet lässt, da jeder rein könnte.

Nous avons logé dans le "Malvasia", très bien équipé, café et gel douche à disposition. Literie très confortable et jolie décoration. Très bonne communication avec Joao qui est réactif!

Peu d'ombre sur la partie "jardin", pas de rideaux sur la grande fenêtre qui donne sur le lit... Dommage. Nous avons trouvé ça un peu cher pour ce que c'est, photos sur booking peu claires je m'attendais à un autre des logements.

Es gab nur eine Bettdecke, diese wurde dann widerwillig ergänzt Abfluss WC hat die ganze Woche übelst gestunken, nicht genügend Toilettenpaper (wurde trotz Reklamation auch nicht ergänzt), fast kein Spülmittel

Mooi huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Vanuit de tuin fraai zeezicht. Prima bed, goeie douche. Keuken volledig geoutilleerd.

De trap naar de vide vereist een goede mobiliteit. Voor het blaffen van de hond 's nachts waren we vooraf al gewaarschuwd.

Es war eine sehr gemütliche Unterkunft. Wir haben den Kamin benutzt, da es leider etwas kalt zu dem Zeitpunkt war und es hat den Raum ordentlich gewärmt. Die Unterkunft hatte alles was man braucht und die Dampfsauna war ein echter Segen nach einer langen Wanderung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt :)

Nada a declarar

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt mit 9/10 Punkten bewertet. Das kleine Häuschen auf dem Berg auf Madeira ist wirklich unglaublich süß, und das Personal war mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die drei Häuschen sind liebevoll gestaltet und wirken auf den ersten Blick einfach perfekt. Erst nach einiger Zeit fallen ein paar kleine Details auf, die man verbessern könnte. Leider war es während unseres Aufenthalts sehr windig, wodurch die Haustür nachts ziemlich laut geklappert hat. Das ließe sich vermutlich leicht mit einem Dichtungsband beheben. Außerdem war die Dusche etwas undicht. Das sind aber wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt wirklich wunderbar und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Me ha gustado mucho el alojamiento, es tal y como se describe. En una zona tranquila, sin dificultades para aparcar. Me preocupaba las reseñas de otras personas quejándose de los ladridos de los perros, pero a mí no me pareció que fuera algo molesto sinceramente. Volveré a repetir sin duda alguna si vuelvo a Madeira. Muchas gracias por la atención y por confirmar si necesitaba algo!

Solo le pongo una pega, pero ha sido culpa mía por no mirar bien en Google Maps. Se encuentra en una calle con una pendiente muy pronunciada, pero como todas las carreteras en Madeira. No es muy transitada y por lo general puedes subir con el coche sin tener que parar porque vengan coches en sentido contrario. Las escaleras para bajar de la ‘habitación’ a la planta principal pueden ser un poco resbaladizas, bajar con cuidado.

Przepiękne, klimatyczne miejsce zlokalizowane w bardzo wygodnym miejscu, żeby zwiedzać południe i zachód wyspy. Można korzystać z kominka, a zapas drewna codziennie jest uzupełniany. W łazience jest sauna i oprócz ręczników, są też szlafroki. W pokoju są również dodatkowe ręczniki, poduszki na leżaki, koce i kosz piknikowy.

Warto być świadomym, że teren dookoła domu będziesz dzielić z dwoma innymi rodzinami - w naszym przypadku były to bardzo miłe osoby. Byłoby miło gdyby wlaściciel zostawił w domku: kawę, herbatę, cukier, świeczki - bywa, że nie ma przez chwilę prądu i worki higieniczne w łazience - nie wolno wyrzucać papieru toaletowego do ubikacji.

Kompleks trzech domków, położony na uboczu, w spokojnej okolicy. Domek wyposażony w sprzęt kuchenny i pralkę. W naszym domku sauna i Kominek. Na zewnątrz grill, miejsce piknikowy, lezaki. Bardzo polecamy. Czysto i miło.

Il cottage in cui ho soggiornato era davvero molto bello, dotato di tutti i confort, con un panorama spettacolare. Poter rilassarsi davanti al fuoco del cammino è sicuramente un lusso. La casa era pulitissima. La comunicazione con lo staff eccellente. Consigliatissimo

Espaço muito acolhedor, com churrasco e sauna. Cozinha bem equipada. Boa localização para um fim de semana a relaxar. Facilidade na comunicação.

Mooi groep huisjes, lekker rustig hoger op in de berg. Kleine uitzicht op het water. Huisje is gezellig, maar helaas kun je geen ramen open doen in de slaapkamers. Daar is het dan te warm. Ze bieden wel een airco aan, maar die maakt veels te veel geluid.

Das Cottage hatte einen schlimmen Geruch nach Abfluss und wir mussten deshalb das Badezimmer geschlossen halten. Der Vermieter ist sich auch der Feuchte in dem Cottage bewusst und hat deshalb einen Entfeuchter ins Badezimmer gestellt, der 24/7 läuft. Wir haben eine Spülmaschine vermisst, was eigentlich Standard ist. Es gibt zudem auch keine Verdunkelungsvorhänge und man ist wach, sobald es hell wird. Wenn man nicht bereits vom Bellen der Nachbarshunde geweckt wurde. Die Cottages sind bereits auch etwas abgewohnt und die Couch sollte ersetzt werden...

La Struttura è molto bella e molto pulita e ben tenuta. La casa attrezzata di ogni cosa potessi avere bisogno e oltre. Un atmosfera tranquilla e una vista mozzafiato sul mare. L' auto fornita in affitto perfetta! Ringraziamo João per la sua disponibilità e gentilezza. Abbiamo passato 2 settimane a Sercial con la voglia di rimanere ancora qui. Consiglio vivamente questa casa a tutti per passare le vacanze a Madeira!

João went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable- he was approachable, responsive and very friendly! The place is amazing and close to so many great areas and João can even assist with car hire without the hassles! We will definitely be back!

Le charme du logement en général, super bien équipé, ca fait un effet "waouw" quand on entre a l'intérieur, magnifique salle de douche. Proximité avec de nombreuses randonnées populaires à faire sur l'île.

J'adore l'idée d'avoir des espaces extérieurs commun mais .. le CHOC quand, un soir, en rentrant, j'ai vu des gens à table devant notre baie vitrée qui donne vue sur TOUT notre logement. J'avais pas compris que cette table était commune .. Bref, dans le chalet que nous occupions, nous sommes les seuls à avoir ce désavantage et cela vous donne AUCUNE intimité dans le chalet. Il y a des rideaux mais on voit à travers ... Bref, tout le monde peut voir ce qu'on fait dans tout le chalet sauf la salle de douche. Pour moi, c'est un gros désavantage et cela a un peu gâché ma joie de la beauté du logement en lui-même.

Gostamos muito da decoração do alojamento e dos equipamentos e consumíveis colocados à disposição (máquina da roupa, secador de cabelo, tábua de engomar, toalhas de banho para a praia...)

Da má higienização das toalhas da casa de banho e dos panos da cozinha que apresentavam mau odor, mesmo depois de substituídas algumas das toalhas apresentavam o mesmo problema. A falta de eficiência térmica, os quartos são extremamente quentes e quando se chegava ao alojamento tarde e não havia tempo para arejar, conforme nos foi recomendado, dormir tornava-se algo difícil.

Leider können hübsche Steine keinen ruhigen Schlaf erreichen. Die Häuser sind nicht mit einem isoliertem Dach gebaut wurden. Daher heizt sich das Haus und die Steine tagsüber auf. Einzige Abhilfe ist die Tür (Sicherheit 🥴) und kleines Fenster permanent aufzulassen. Dadurch etwas Luftzirkulation. Es folgen von 21.00 bis 8.00 Moskitos und ab 8.00 Straßenlärm und Gestank. Unweit ist ein Bauhof und LKWs donnern mit viel Material ständig vorbei. In den drei Nächten habe ich ca. 10h geschlafen. In der nächsten Unterkunft dann jede Nacht 10h...

Very nice, stylish, modern design. Excellent service (the owner was helping us with car rentals; a huge basket of fruits awaiting us + food in the fridge, etc). 5 min drive to Calheta beach (steep downhill). Definitely one of the best accomodations we found in Madeira.

Quality of the place, really cozy and beautifully done.

The chalet is beautiful and made a great first impression when we arrived – the interior is very nicely designed. The location is excellent if you are traveling by car. We didn’t hear any neighbors, and the outdoor area was clean and well-maintained. However, there were several issues during our stay. There was a noticeable sewage smell in the bathroom, and the bathroom door did not close properly. Each time we used the toilet or shower, we saw a flycatcher insect, which were also in the kitchen. The chalet had limited natural light – just one window facing the neighbors’ property and their entrance. We also found the breakfast arrangement unclear. The listing on Booking stated that breakfast was included, but in reality we were left with two bread, a pack of ham, a pack of cheese, eggs, and some coffee capsules – all for the entire week. This was disappointing and did not match our expectations. The chalet was also quite cold and damp. Towels didn’t dry properly, and there didn’t seem to be any replacements provided during the stay.

The host and the extra effort they made to have the property like a home. There was fresh fruit and bread, food in the fridge and a wine bar. They were also very responsive and willing to accomodate our changes in arrival date and check out time.

Nice place . Clean and tidy. Thought we had a sauna but was not included in our house.
