A great serene getaway spot. The finishes are top class and the appliances are well-chosen. The beds are very comfortable and the bath sheets are fluffy and soft. The place is very welcoming...home away from home! Great location within walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. The hostess Irma is lovely and very friendly. There is parking for 2 small cars

Location was fantastic! The studio was comfortable, beds were awesome, until my back decided it was too soft.

Well, miscommunication with owner and his wife on check-in time, though I had organized it weeks before hand, to be earlier and was approved. There were dirty glasses left by last guest. My husband and I booked as a couple, beds were still in single mode. Fan had not been cleaned in awhile, not good for asthmatics. (Aka my husband.) NO BIN LINER. Toilet continuously runs and drips. There are nesting birds Above where the bed is, and it was like nails on a chalk board every 50-40 minutes. It made it impossible to nap, and sometimes impossible to sleep! I had complained, the answer was, they do it yearly I can't do anything about it. Shower drain had to be unclogged on day 2 of stay. We had to leave early to actually get some good sleep.

Everything was perfect.

The location was central, you can walk to the beach and even to the shops. The host, Irma, was super friendly and welcomed us upon arrival. Made us feel right at home. We will definitely be staying there again!

Very tidy, great location and fantastic hosts. Everything you need for a great holiday by the sea or touring the west cost, Capetown and the vineyards. All amenities as per the photos and description. Hosts knew so much around the area and further afield.

Spacious, well furnished living area, well equipped kitchen. I arrived around midnight and host was happy to assist at that late hour, gave a full tour with a smile. It is close to Atlantic Beach Golf course and the shopping centres

Although it is a safe neighbourhood, parking outside in the driveway is a downer in SA. A fence or gate would make a difference. No cleaning service. This did not bother me but some might consider that important.

Privacy, quietness and all needs met. The owner met us at the door and assisted us with information we needed and he made us feel homely. The area is close to the beach.

If you are visiting Cape town I think this is an excellent place to stay. The apartment is very well appointed and spacious, there is onsite parking, you are mere minutes from the beach and a host of excellent restaurants. This would be a good place to base a visit to Cape Town if you have a car and want to stay a couple of days.

Cleanliness

Bedding smelled of washing soap. Fabric softener smell could help.

The large pillow cases certainly didn't appear to have been washed from the previous guests. The soap dish in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. There was at least a year's dust on the blinds up the staircase. The toilet seat needs replacing. There was no top sheet provided and it was sweltering hot, only a thick duvet supplied. The whole place needs a good coat of paint, as it appears there is in many places only one coat. The kitchen drawers were really grubby with spices and other stuff strewn all over and it didnt appear that the shleves had been dusted. The kettle had not been cleaned on the outside.

Stylish loft apartment with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen area. Very friendly host and two very friendly Golden Retrievers! Parking bay in front of the house. Load-shedding is no issue at this place and it is a easy walk to the beach front. We are looking forward to our next stay in lovely Melkbosstrand. Recommended!

Very close to the beach and restaurants. Very nice and accommodating hosts who tried to make the stay as enjoyable and easy as possible. They were always available if there was a question or need.

The loft is very beautiful with huge windows a little sunny balcony. The beds a very comfortable the kitchen area had all we need. We had our private space on the second floor.
