Leider ist das Guesthouse sehr in die Jahre gekommen und die Ausstattung war mäßig und alt. Leider waren das Bad und Küche von Ameisen und irgendwelchen anderen Käfern in den Schränken befallen. Wir sind einen Tag früher abgereist.

Reviewed Feb 11, 2026The hospitality expressed by Jerrit was heartfelt. Even though we shared accommodation, privacy was maintained and we all got along very well. The house is structured in such a way that everyone had there own space and the house has everything one needs. This is definitely a home-away-from-home. We look forward to booking there again in near future. Highly recommended 👌

Reviewed Mar 6, 2025I had an incredible stay at this BnB in Duynefontein. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was large, spotless, and well-maintained. The garden is absolutely stunning, creating a peaceful atmosphere with plenty of privacy. The sunsets were breathtaking, making the whole experience even more special. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind!

Reviewed Feb 26, 2025Everything there, jerrit was really kind and helpful. Garden nice, washing machine, really everything there to live like in your own flat.
Not noise isolated, you can hear people flushing the toilet or closing doors. I didn't check profoundly for the distance to CPT and as I had a car, I thought no problem, but going to cape town took me 45min one way. That's far if you want to spend your time in the city.

From living room area to your dining area, it has a bar if you just want to relax with your drink and it also has a pool table. The pool view from my room was just amazing and very relaxing with a beautiful garden view😍. A huge thank you to Jerrit for making us feel at home😊 We will definitely be back. See you soon🤗

Reviewed Jan 24, 2025The owners of the property were very friendly, kind and extremely helpful. They were never intrusive but went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable. We often sat out on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool in the evenings, chatting together and watching the wild birds in their beautiful garden. There was a well-equipped kitchen which I was free to use. I had a double bedroom to myself and my own bathroom. My bedroom looked out onto the very attractive garden and swimming pool The property including the garden and the swimming are all, clean, tidy and very well maintained
My only disappointment about my stay is that there were no bed-side lights in my bedroom - disappointing as i like to read in bed. However, I'm sure that had I asked the owners to loan me a bedside light they would have been happy to do so. The location of the property is in a residential area and you are dependent on having access to a car as as there is no public transport in the immediate area.
