A lovely, well equipped house with 3 spacious and comfortable bedrooms. There is a super outdoor area and plenty of parking. It was easy to order and get taxis to and from Kilkenny city centre which is a couple of miles away. The icing on the cake was the host, Mary, who made our stay so enjoyable. She provided tea,coffee and milk and even left some wine and beer. We loved it and would highly recommend.

The house was outstanding. It was home from home. We did not want for anything. A very kind and welcoming host.

The house was so cozy and cute! Mary, the owner is absolutely lovely and made our stay so memorable! Highly recommend!

Quiet, comfortable, and cozy! The home is just a short drive outside the city, which made for the perfect combination of country and city life. Mary and Tom were so welcoming and even had candles lit when we arrived. It's clear they take pride in welcoming guests.

Clean, and roomy. The house was extremely cold when we arrived left for dinner, came back and it was still cold so the owners brought over space heaters for each bedroom. Fixed the issue. We had a nice stay and wonderful breakfast. Thank you for your hospitality.

This was 6 mins in car away from city centre Mary the host was just fantastic to deal with so chatty n kind even changed around our booking for us the house is so clean and beautiful beds are so comfy Mary even went out her way to leave us wine and cake are had fire lighting before we arrived so cosy and home away from home definitely will be back to stay there again

It was a lovely and cozy stay, with the fire lighting warmly when we arrived. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The location was ideal, just a short distance from the city centre.

The House was perfect with plenty of room any everything you could need for your stay available. Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly.

It was so close to Kilkenny city but in a nice remote spot. The house was clean, comfy and perfect for what we needed it for. The hosts were lovely and so helpful.

A very homely house. Every comfort provided. It was also very close to the city, which was ideal. Quiet area. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend it to anybody staying in Kilkenny 😊

I really like the care the owner put into the house. Many small decorations make us feel happy.

It literally has everything you need and more.

It’s only a bit out of the way so make sure someone is driving if you want to venture into the city.

Quirky house that was clearly loved. Very clean. Mary the host was lovely and so helpful. Very generously left us chocolates, wine and a lovely cake. There were tea bags and a bag of coffee beans! Mary clearly tries to make people’s stays very comfortable. There’s a great big garden and gazebo area, just made for parties. There are 3 properties beside each other. The folly, another large house suitable for a large party and the host’s own house. Mary was really lovely and we didn’t feel that it mattered that she lived so close by. It’s a bit out of town on a small country road. We walked to the Hoban hotel, about 10 minutes. Would be very happy to return there again.

I’m having a problem thinking of something I didn’t like. There are always pros and cons but the pros so so so outweighed the cons that there is nothing to complain about.

A great place to stay, a short taxi spin into the city, lovely garden with seating and bbq, Mary was very accommodating and welcoming, would highly recommend the Folly for families or groups, house was stocked with plenty of toiletries/tea/coffee incl coffee machine and milk in the fridge

Absolutely fantastic stay at this property! The house was cosy, beds were comfortable, great location proximity to Kilkenny itself - all in all an absolute treat and will stay again!
