Reviewed Jun 9, 2026Very clean, spacious apartment, with kitchen and a clothes washing machine was great after multiple stays in a hotel room. The large sun room off the kitchen was a pleasant surprise. The side entrance gave it privacy and a sense of security, and we loved the off street parking. Very close walk to the town centre too. Great value.

Geen gastvrouw/heer aanwezig. Zelf via sleutelkast naar binnen, maar de voordeur was blijkbaar niet de ingang. Daar kwamen we na telefonische klacht ("we kunnen er niet in") pas achter. Verwarming aanzetten moet blijkbaar door eerst een mail naar gastvrouw te sturen die dan iemand anders de thermostaat laat aanzetten in ander deel van huis. Erg gehorig door buren met keffende honden en bovenburen waarvan je elke stap hoort. Voor deze prijs verwachten we meer.

The apartment was absolutely spotless and the bed was really comfortable, dressed with very high quality bedding. There was great communication with the owners and we really appreciated that, as we had to change dates due to the fuel protests. Would recommend and would look forward to returning.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025The apartment is the bottom corner of a house in a suburban area about 10 mins walk from Kilkenny Castle. Instructions for finding it and getting in were clear. We were able to park in the driveway. The bedroom was spacious with hanging space and shelves for clothes.The bathroom was small but functional.A dring rack, which we set up in the sunny conservatory meant our washing dried quickly. Milk, water, prossecco, tea, coffee, chococino pods and chocolates were left which was much appreciated.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2025Eine sehr schöne, gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit genug Platz und super Ausstattung! Nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, hübsch eingerichtet, sehr sauber, alles da was man braucht!
Das einzige ist, dass es preislich für uns schon an der Schmerzgrenze war; allerdings wären andere Unterkünfte in Kilkenny zu unserem Reisezeitraum noch teurer gewesen.

Would have liked more hangers, soap in the shower, Nowhere to sit outside.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2024Comfortable bed, good televisions for watching the Euros when we were getting ready to go out. Felt like home away from home, tea, coffee, milk, Prosecco, and chocolates were a nice touch. Very clean! Short walk to Main Street.
I like a hard pillow but that’s more my personal preference, but there was loads of pillows so just doubled up.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2022Lovely immaculately clean apartment with its own private entrance close to the center of Kilkenny. The size of the apartment was perfect for the two of us, it had a nice and comfortable living room with super TV, which featured Irish stations and Netflix, which was cool. The apartment was warm and cozy over a cold Christmas time. The bathroom was small but perfectly functional and very clean. The double bed was comfortable. A lovely surprise of prosecco, water, milk, and coffee was gifted on arrival, which we enjoyed, thank you for your thoughtfulness! We liked it so much we might be back next Christmas! Thank you!
The only thing that did not work for us was that the duvet was very heavy at night! :( Everything else was perfect.
