Lovely comfortable bed, nice, modern bathroom, great people, very, very cute dog : )

The lounge/dining/kitchen areas are a bit small, dark and not well laid out. This area could do with an upgrade.

Warm and cozy accommodation. great living and sleeping spaces, good host communications.

Booked this accommodation on behalf of my aunty, Adele who requested I leave a good review ☺️ Host was very welcoming & super accomodating to make my stay enjoyable. Location was great, only a short ride into town, very easy to get around. Accomodation clean with all the amenities you need. I would very much recommend this stay to anyone considering “Cozy is the word”. Lovely host, daughter & dog :) Also, from my point of view as the person booking the accomodation - very easy to communicate with the host & nice prompt replies.

This is our second time staying here. Zandra makes you so welcome. 'Cozy' is all set up with your needs while away. Her dog Bonnie is gorgeous and so obedient but makes you so welcome. 👌

Very comfortable bed slept like a baby

Zandra is so lovely and happened to be there when we arrived. Very welcoming and also met cutie Bonnie 🐶 who popped down to say hi throughout our stay. A modern, very clean and comfortable downstairs apartment. It had everything we needed. Zandra was very accommodating with checkout at 11am and kindly told us no rush to checkout, so we left at 12pm. Would definitely stay here again if in Tauranga 😊

Cozy is the word! Super friendly and comfy! Best place I’ve stopped so far in Tauranga. Great facilities, epically comfy bed. Lounge and kitchen where I could just relax and brilliant hot shower. Everything you want when away from home.

Ermmm… wish it was closer to work, haha. Not a negative as this was a really good spot for me to stop during the week while at work.

I liked that the accommodation was very clean. It was clear that there was great care for the cleanliness and hygiene of the space. Everything was very tidy and well organized.

What I didn’t like was that when I made the reservation, it was not mentioned anywhere that it was a guest room in a shared house. Although we didn’t run into the owners, it is still a shared space and not a private apartment as it appears to be described on the listing. Because of this, I didn’t feel that I had the level of privacy I expected for what I paid. There were no problems during the stay, but I did not feel the level of privacy I was expecting.

Didn't receive instructions from booking.com of how to get into the accomadation. Fortunately after much searching on my phone I found a phone number to ring.

Little unexpected that it was part of a unit with the owner residing upstairs, the lounge area is a converted garage with the washing machine being used by the family.

Convenient location

The bed is very comfortable, the location was excellent for getting to Brookfield, Matu and Bethlehem easily and quickly.

It would have been nice to know there was a dog before booking as possibly would have gone for a different option. The dog was very friendly though.

The accomadation was modern, clean and tidy. We had lovely hot showers with a great water pressure. We had a big soft warm bed, a kitchenette with a microwave, air fryer and slow cooker or crockpot provided. We also had utensils, plates, cups and cutlery and other condiments, and a good size little fridge to keep our food in. We had a sheltered car park right beside our accomadation. There was also wifi which is a great blessing to have! Zandra is a beautiful host who lives upstairs. Her and her daughter took good care of us. Their dog Bonnie is very friendly.

Would have preferred softer pillows instead of hard and flat ones.

Cozy and warm it definitely was. Clean, comfortable and had everything to make your stay feel like you were well accommodated and considered. The lovely Hostess goes above and beyond to ensure a safe, comfortable stay where I also felt cared for and considered.

Nothing. It was great value for money, and it was very handy to Bethlehem Shopping Center, Bethlehem Tertiary Institute, and a short drive to the Mount.

Defs lives up to its Cozy! We had the bottom whilst owners were upstairs. Spent 3 nights there and we'd definitely go back. Zandra & her daughter Briana were very welcoming. Thank you both so much and Bonnie 🐕🥰

Property was immaculate, modern clean and definitely cozy. Zandra, Brianna & Bonnie were wonderful hosts not only to us but our fur baby as well. We especially loved the comfy bed and the outdoor courtyard was a bonus.

We were unaware when booking that the property was a shared dwelling with the owner residing upstairs but in saying that for most of our stay you wouldn't know that they were there. I would not hesitate to book again if visiting Tauranga

This suited our needs perfectly as a place to sleep and shower as we were out all day. Ideally, you should have your own transport as it's not near the main centre. Zandra is a lovely host, and she presents her property beautifully. Note that the bedroom is small but has a brand new and very comfortable bed, the bathroom is down the hall, and a kitchenette and sitting area is opposite that. The owner has shared access to the property via a door next to the bedroom, and there is shared use of a washing machine and clothesline. We found Cozy is the Word to be extremely good value for money. It's not exactly a self-contained apartment but more the downstairs area of a private home. If that's okay, by you (it was for us), then we 100% recommend it as a clean, modern, cost-effective alternative to a motel. There is a little black poodle dog, Bobby, at the property, and he is well trained and resides upstairs and didn't bother us at all.

Zandra was very friendly and welcoming but unfortunately it was not a one bedroom apartment as advertised. Neither is it in or near Greerton, it’s 7km away. We found the property to be very clean, nicely decorated and the Kitchenette is well appointed. It has a shared entrance with a ‘cozy’ double bedroom, at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the main part of the property. There is a heat pump/air con unit in the bedroom.

We were unaware of a small dog in the property before we arrived. And was asked to leave the rear door open and unlocked 24/7 for it to get in and out. Lounge area, kitchenette, washing machine & laundry tub are in a converted garage. Be aware that if you hit the wrong switch, the garage door opens. This is not a private space, with the washing machine being used by the family.

Not as separate from family accommodation as expected but not a problem for us. Common entrance/exit by bedroom. Just to be aware owners have a sweet friendly little dog that needs access to outside area.

This was a great accomodation for my daughter and I for an overnight stay. The room was a good size and the lounge room with kitchen facilities was perfect for what we needed. The hosts were lovely and whilst they live upstairs, you wouldn't really know.

Nothing for the property it was great, but just so you know you must have a car to get to and from the beaches and sites.
