Hidden Gem for business traveller's

We had an awesome stay! The place was so cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed, including the lovely breakfast options. It was also exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Lance was a phenomenal host, thought of every detail (from flowers in the bathroom to heating pads on the bed!!), and even had a friendly cat, Kira. He provided breakfast for us to cook in the morning, smart TV, and very comfortable sofa and beds. He even let us check out late, in the afternoon.

Very well appointed 2 bedroom apartment underneath the host's home with a third bed in an alcove off the main bedroom. Well supplied kitchen with plenty of breakfast provisions and fresh fruit. Huge bathroom with a great shower and laundry facilities. Modern, comfortable furniture and great beds - a touch of class. Lovely outdoor area - would've taken more advantage of in summer! Appreciated the little touches such as tissues in every room and quality toiletries.

The silence and the place was so warm without using the air con, loved the set up, the whole place was so comfy felt like home, fish n chips up the road. The cat greeted me, then Lance. Breakast was a treat eggs on toast. Well establish instruction folder, one more thing u didnt need to use my own electric blanket, Hidden Gem had 1 on every bed, i slept on the sofa bed, we had a great sleep. Thankyou Lance and girls oh and the cat K, i do recommend this place

Absolutely nothing

The host noticed that there were four of us and that we were planning to share a bed. Without us even asking, they kindly opened an additional room so that everyone had their own bed. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly exceptional service. We really appreciated their generosity and hospitality.

Warm, clean and comfortable. It was nice having milk coffee, tea, bread, cereals, eggs and butter and jam, so we could settle in and relax and set for the morning without needing to get supplies after arriving

I really like this place. Very nice touches throughout the property and well thought out, has everything you need. Close to the Motorway which made getting to a sports tournament in Papamoa pretty quick. Really friendly owner if you need anything. It made a really busy weekend nice and relaxing, even has a washer and dryer.

Absolutely phenomenal little location with everything that you could ever need in the space. The owner extremely kind and friendly and the rooms are very well maintained as well as being exceptionally clean. I would 150% recommend staying here the owner even included ingredients to make breakfast like eggs and cereal.

Lance was super friendly and helpful. He allowed us to check-in early and actually gave us a ride into town which was super helpful! The place was super tidy and clean, with food available for breakfast the following morning. There was air conditioning which was lovely, and we got to meet the lovely cat as well :)

I highly recommend this accommodation. It has everything you need and more. We had a wonderful stay. It was a bonus to have breakfast included. Very good value for money and convenient location.

Very nice play to stay would highly recommend. Lance was extremely helpful, felt like a home away from home for a couple of days. Location was great, would happily stay again. All the basics provided to including milk eggs and bread. Would stay again!

Great selection of breakfast options, cereal, eggs, toast (a whole loaf of bread supplied), you name it, it's there. Also selection of herbal teas if you don't drink coffee or normal tea. Lance makes an effort to come and say hi which is great. Second time I've stayed and it was just is good as the last time.

Some of the fruit was rotten but it was nice to have it supplied

Couldn't ask for more in a B&B, Lance has thought of everything. It's a bit like a home away from home. Very generous breakfast selection that should suit most people. As it was at the back of the property away from the road, it was really nice and quiet. Plenty of cooking options if you're wanting to eat in and everything you'd need to prepare meals. Different pillows to suit different preferences, bed was comfortable. Have already booked another stay here. :-)

Nothing to fault really, just the top corner cupboards was a bit awkward to get in to as it opens towards you, not towards the wall but as it's only got the herbal teas in there, not too much of an issue.

It is a lovely place to stay. Very well thought out. The facilities are great. Everything is catered for from the variety of breakfast options to the little chocolate bar. Lance was very friendly and helpful. Would def recommend

The accommodation was in exceptional condition. The host was very welcoming. He greeted us on arrival. There were many things we didn't expect to be there for use - breakfast stuff, jam, peanut butter, butter, fresh bread, oats etc, variety of tea, coffee,fresh fruits. I will definitely book this in future and highly recommend this place. Thank you Lance for letting us check in later as we wanted to watch the ABs game.

We couldn't get to cast to the TV - asked us to pay. We ended up watching the Abs VS Argentina on our phone (I have sky app).

The Host!! Such a great guy and the amenities were really well thought out. My 7yr year old enjoyed the addition of table of Lego to build with, and I liked that she was close to us.

I didn't like tauranga weather at the time of night.. its chilly so rug up lol 😆 its like ice 🧊 🤣

The breakfast was great. A selection of cereals and eggs with bread and butter and spreads. A huge selection of teas and hot drinks was provided. Couldn't fault it. A unit was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable.

Beautifully presented, clean and the beds were very comfortable, everything you needed including fresh fruit, quiet and in a great location.

The host, Lance, was fantastic, friendly, and helpful. The place was well set up. You could tell Lance had thought about everything. It was very well situated for traveling to and from town and was nice and quiet considering the location.

We really enjoyed our short stay. The host was lovely and easy to communicate with. The place was cosy, clean and had everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast with plenty of options. We will definitely consider for any future stays!

Facilities and generous extras

It is a very clean house, and we did not expect them to prepare breakfast. We also found a hot pool about four minutes away and really enjoyed it.

Property was perfect for what we were after. Lance, the host, was super welcoming and a pleasure to deal with

Lance was a great host

I like the amenities in the house. Thick towels, bread, peanut butter, jam, milk and fruits provided. A washing machine is provided in the house too. I liked the owner. He's so friendly. He waited for me till late. Highly recommended.

The spa was not functioning .... which i came for as the reviews have written about.

Breakfast was fabulous.Appreciated the well equipped kitchen, fresh bread and fruit bowl. Lance was very welcoming and helpful. Gem of an apartment.

The bed I had was a fold up bed in second bedroom/study.. Mattress was extremely comfortable but bed was squeaky when you rolled over.

Clean with great faculties just like a hotel room with kitchen ,laundry,spa, gym equipment, private and Quiet.
